“Stopped by Morning Talk Cafe for an afternoon snack. I had the Green Tea + Brown Sugar smoothie. Oh so refreshing in this sweltering heat.

“7 in outer family went to Nudy's today. Most of us for the first time. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal but really wanted to compliment our server Fernanda. She was amazing and a joy to deal with. We promised her we would be back and will ask specifically for her.“

I recently discovered Good Karma Cafe and I'm hooked! This charming spot exceeded my expectations with its warm atmosphere, top-notch service, and delicious food.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, happily answering our questions about the menu. We indulged in their mouthwatering chicken sandwiches on sourdough bread, paired with refreshing lemonade and iced tea. The cozy back dining room, adorned with vibrant art and lush greenery, made for a pleasant dining experience.

Their breakfast and brunch menu boasts an array of tempting options, making me eager to return. Standouts include the Colonel Mustard sandwich and almond croissant.

Good Karma Cafe excels in:

“I heard about Baby’s Kusina while on a dinner date and wanted to try this Filipino market. First off, the building is absolutely beautiful and the decor is aesthetic. On to the important stuff, the food and drink. My fiancé got the Ube-Milk Matcha and the Cheesy Beshy. The sandwich was delicious and the Ube-Milk Matcha was incredible! I got an iced matcha and the Rich Tita, which may have been one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever ate; the housemate pork longganisa was out of this world, the bread was light and flaky, and the egg was perfectly cooked. The Rocky’s Matcha is such a rare find and definitely the best matcha in the city. Lastly, Tam and Raquel were incredibly welcoming owners and the staff was interactive and wonderful. They have made a returning customer of me. Highly recommend 10/10.“

“I love Adelie Coffee House. The coffee is simply delicious! It's rich, smooth, aromatic, soothing - like a warm blanket fresh out of the dryer. I've only tried the cheese danish. It was very good. The baristas are great - all of them. The coffee house itself is bare bones, yet clean and cozy. You have the option to sit outside if you like. I'm so glad this little gem is right down the street from my house.💜“

“I had not heard of this bakery but a friend suggested meeting there a couple evenings ago. This was the Burke, VA location. The choice of pastries was pretty amazing, what we had was fresh and truly outstanding, service was efficient and friendly, and the place itself was very clean. Will be back!“

“I came in at the end of a run and had a tough time choosing- everything looked super fresh and delicious. It’s rare to find homestyle, healthy food, and Greek!

I had a bowl with chicken, potatoes, veg, whipped feta, and took a pastry and frappe to go.

The people were super nice, and indoor and outdoor dining space bright and clean.

Coffee is Medium roast and flavorful. Pastries are fresh daily. Friends love the specialty drinks, such as the Matcha and Brown Sugar Latte. “We love Pour Richard's for many different reasons. Their coffee selection is HUGE and delicious. If you've never had anything from PR...try a different blend every day you go. It's worth it! The staff is A+ AMAZING and works their butts off. Great place to stop and grab breakfast and coffee and to get some work done before going into the office. The space is beautiful: warm wood, cute displays, and plenty of elegant charm that make it an easy spot to study or catch up with friends. I’m especially drawn to the pastry case; the desserts are adorable and genuinely tasty, and even though prices run on the higher side, the overall experience feels worth it to me. If I have one wish, it’s for the drinks to rise to the level of the pastries. They look great, but the flavors can be a bit understated. Still, for ambiance and desserts, this place is an easy pick, and it’s why I’ve been back several times.“
