The weight of the excess to be had here is seriously the only detracting factor in this review, a hungrier man than I would easily give this meal five stars with my blessing. The quality of the steak was top notch, I’m just hoping the second half of mine holds up as leftovers. The beef tallow fries were soft but very rich— while not entirely to my taste, the flavor was well complemented by the cooper sharp that accompanied it. Looking forward to my next visit!“

“They have an intercom which is clear to let people know who have never been which window to go to and also tell people when their orders are ready. The pick up line could have been more smooth and fast paced. The food thought was delicious and full of meat. Would love to go back next time I’m in town.“

“Grabbed a ribeye steak with BBQ sauce. Pepper Jack and mayo. I wanted to get some variation and I wasn't disappointed! Only two issues not enough bbq sauce and the greasy roll. The sandwich was wrapped tight. But upon unwrapping I found the roll to be very greasy and it was getting on my hand as I was enjoying this. Tasty, but extremely messy, not to be eaten without plenty of napkins.“

“I came across this joint by accident looking for something to eat, although broad street has many options, it’s sub par when it comes to quality. To find a place with fresh tasting ingredients is a sigh a relief. If you’re in the area I definitely recommend stopping by! Otis was awesome“

“The best cheesesteak in the area for sure. Bread was soft the meat was perfectly cooked juicy as heck and not dry next time I’ll get extra cheese but it doesn’t need it! Barely needed ketchup. Perfectly fried crinkle cut fries (my fav). Also got the salmon cheesesteak egg roll and it was delicious I just wish it had a dip like some spicy ketchup or something but it was juicy and seasoned. Above all else the owners are black and super friendly ppl. Definitely will be back for more. Oh and it was about $16 for everything very affordable unlike these pizza places charging $15 for a dry ass cheesesteak with over cooked meat.“

“I was on a mission for a chicken cheesesteak and started searching around for lunch spots. The moment I landed on Jim’s, I already knew it was over—I had to go. The staff was super polite and respectful, and they even apologized for the wait (which honestly wasn’t bad at all).
Let me tell you… I barely made it back to my work van before ripping into that chicken cheesesteak. The smell alone almost took me out—and the first bite? Absolute 🔥. Juicy, packed with flavor, and straight-up satisfying.
And yes, I grabbed the banana pudding too… and yeah, it was just as good as you’d hope.

“I had family in from Connecticut. Our plan was to do DiLasandro's but...you can't eat inside and it's a 45 minute wait. We went across the street to Chuby's. We were not disappointed! The cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks were great! And...the fries...the best I've had in a long time...crispy and delicious! If you insist on DiLasandro's...waiting 45 minutes and then going somewhere to eat it...I understand. However, if you want to sit down...and have fries with ZERO wait for a table...(DiLasandro's only has bags of chips) go for it. But...to me...I'd give Chubby's a 4!!!“

While i was there a crazy woman burst into the place, climbed atop the counter and jumped into the back - the crew didn't miss a beat and got my my excellent cheesesteak sandwich like nothing was wrong, so great food, great service - atmosphere would have been better without the crazy woman.“

“Saad’s has one of the best cheesesteaks in the city. Yes, you heard that right. The halal nature of their cooking means they have the finest meats, cheese, and bread. The steak was very flavorful without the greasy mess that a lot of others have. The fries are amazing, too. The place is a little small so getting it to-go is recommended. “I decided to look up somewhere to get something fast to eat near by this place popped up and had good reviews. Despite of the bad ones I decided to try it for myself I bought there cheesesteak fries and soda lunch special along with a brisket sandwich I also upgraded my fries to the Spanish fries, let me tell you something I wasn’t disappointed at all everything was great, flavorful, and hot it’s definitely a place to go to when I’m down the city! “Pretty typical diner with a solid selection of food and delicious milkshakes.
I highly recommend the Nutella milkshake and the crab cakes eggs Benedict.
Our food came out in a timely manner and servicer was attentive and friendly.
Our party also had 2 philly cheesesteaks, that were delicious, and a steak that was perfectly cooked.
