“Dude I’ve been to this Rita’s since it opened last year. The amount of custard that I’ve gotten on these small cones is beyond GENEROUS!!!!! It’s like - I order I small and it’s really a large. And the amount of sprinkles goes above and beyond. I totally recommend going there and you’ll never go anywhere else.“

“They have the best ice cream and shakes. They are a little expensive but well worth it. We've gone there for years and are regulars. Tonight was kind of shocking. We got a bunch of take out and 1/2 gallon of peanut butter Fresh banana ice cream. We got home and it was freezer burned. We gave them a call and they said, " thanks for letting us know" so in the garbage it went. I don't really understand how that's possible because everything is fresh. Of course we'll still go but won't be buying anything to bring home again.“

“Hometown is me and my families happy place! I literally do not enjoy other ice cream because nothing comes close to comparing to what Hometown creates! We go twice a week sometimes more in the spring and summer and at least once a week during the winter. We love the staff and the small town feel. It is the best place around and our go to- always!“

“All ice cream is very good, have been coming here for awhile now. There is one concern I have. I saw the owner putting his bare hands in the pop corn machine and eating out of his hands. Being I am a longer time health care provider, I see quite a bit and am very conscious of keeping things clean. In addition, there were no clean tables, had to eat the ice cream outside or in the car.“

“I've been going here since as long as I can remember. When I was a little kid. Well, with my mom at that time of course haha. I am 26 now. I still go back and drive 50 minutes just to get Poppy's. The dark roasted peanuts, my mom's favorite, is now my favorite. I always get her a bag when I go up. It's very nostalgic. The quality of their stuff is very good, the prices are very good, the selection is very good and provides an experience often lost in modern America. A visit to the candy store with a huge selection, good smells, confections, novelties, ice cream, and wholesome people. What more can you ask for?“

“Clean, service is great, product is good. Location is easy to get to, just doesn't present much seating. Maybe one or two benches and one picnic table. Co-located with a gas station, so long lines wait in the street. Keep an eye on littles.“

I just finished a delicious turkey hoagie that was not only packed with turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, and hot peppers on a great roll but at a great price! “They were out of root beer and the no sugar added ice cream. They had no other no sugar added options (I'm diabetic). We got our ice cream and the strawberry Sunday wasn't made with anything on the list but strawberries 😔 no cake, no sauce. The girls working were polite and upbeat. Decor was super cute and lots of choices in the cases just sadly they were out of what we wanted. Would stop again but would not go out of the way for it!!“
