“Never have a problem with the drive-thru. When going in for food, there were no employees at the registers. We waited more than 5 minutes without a single acknowledgement that anyone knew we were there. We were just about to leave when we were finally waited on.“

“It was a beautiful weather day in Greensburg. Applebee's patio is an overlooked gem in the area.

I had a conference call scheduled and did not want to go inside. Casey was my server, and understood my wants. I had lunch before the call. Casey made sure that I had a full glass of Iced Tea in front of me throughout my 2 hour call. Casey was equally as pleasant when I ordered dessert after the call. Obviously I would not have sat this long on the patio if there were a shortage of tables, but on this beautiful Tuesday evening that wasn't a problem. Thank you Casey for making me feel welcome the entire 4+ hours of my visit!“

“Hands down one of the best Burger Kings I’ve been to. First impressions, it’s an incredibly clean and quiet restaurant with friendly staff and quick service. Me and my partner’s food came out in no time, and upon opening my burger, I saw that it was one of the most beautiful burgers I’ve ever seen, (pictured below). Not only did it look great, it tasted great too. The fries were crispy and fresh, and sodas were good as expected. Thanks guys!“

“A recent drop off at the UPS store lead me to an impromptu lunch decision. The aroma outside the shop drew me in to Mama Pepino’s for the first time today. I was greeted by the friendly owner, who took my counter/take out order and quickly prepared what is probably the BEST steak hoagie I have enjoyed from a pizza shop in quite some time. I ordered it exactly as it was listed on the menu. The owner did mention they bake their own hoagie rolls fresh and even after the 20 minute car ride home it held up very well and was still warm. But I’d be remiss to not mention the abundance of steak and toppings that hoagie bun held - very tasty and filling. With trends of prices rising and portions shrinking - THIS sandwich is a robust bite and good value! I know now to keep Mama Pepino’s on my radar when I am in the Irwin area.“

“Five Guys in Greensburg, PA, is the most impressive fast food restaurant I've ever been to. There's only one other fast food restaurant I enjoy, but Five Guys has been consistently CLEAN and I'll only return to them. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the food never disappoints. I've been wanting to write a review for a while now, and I'm glad I waited, proving continuously that the service and cleanliness is consistent. Kudos to the employees and whoever's in charge!“

“I went to enjoy dinner and their indoor play place tonight with my two young boys. The manager who took my order was so kind. She talked to my boys and carried our tray of food to the room as I had my hands full. She even noticed I didn't have napkins and went and grabbed us some. It made my night. “This Applebee's is emblematic of what's good about this chain...cozy, comfortable atmosphere, good food that is reliable, and mostly friendly service. We had mostly appetizers tonight, the pretzels, crunchy Asian chicken tacos, and this new wavy crispy potato appetizer that was fabulous. Tonight our server was a bit stretched, so the manager helped out. The prices are reasonable also. If you want familiar and fun, then Applebee's is your place!“

“Counter staff could be much friendlier. The lady checking out customers was VERY short tempered and impatient when my family and others were ordering. We were only giving our orders like normal, nothing slow about the order, so to be rushed and so rudely dealt with was un called for. Other people in line were commenting on how rude she was, so on a funnier note, we all were joining in on the eye rolls and head shakes.I normally only leave positive reviews for businesses, as I understand how difficult it is working with the public, but this lady was truly incorrigible.“

“I ordered a combo cake from this DQ for Billy & Elizabeth's Birthday, since nobody needs 2 cakes in a 3-day period - 1 is plenty! But I only had 30 letters to work with, so I went with "Happy Birthday Billy and Cupcake" - but I really wished for an exclamation point, so I added this note in the comments section "If you could squeeze an exclamation point as a 31st character onto the cake that would be amazing to "Happy Birthday Billy and Cupcake!" - but if not the cake will still be great, just less enthusiastic. LOL!!" So, when we picked up the cake I was curious if I'd get my bonus exclamation point or not, but I was legit thrilled to not just get 1, but I got 3, it made my day!
