“One of Lancaster County's greatest hidden treasures is the White Swan Restaurant in Rothsville, PA. If you like great food, great service and an uplifting atmosphere , this is the place for you. Drew, the owner/chef who runs things, does an incredible job and he has helped make the establishment as close to the TV show Cheers, as possible. His family all chip in to make it a gem of the county. I have frequented the Swan many times over the years and have been a regular at their Thursday night trivia for the past 14 years. Chelsea takes care of the bar and is fantastic and Elena and Shannon take care of the waitress duties during trivia night. They are the best!!! And Mike D brings his infectious charm as host of trivia. So if you want good food, reasonable pricing and just a great place to hang out, the White Swan is the place for you. You will not be disappointed!!“

“I am a waitress at the restaurant been here for over 5 years.. I’m hearing lots of bad reviews from the bar next door to us. Just because we are now not allowing the bar next door to use are parking lot for them to park.. we are very focused on our customers .. if they have no place to park they won’t be able to come in and eat. We had times where we had trash thrown on our parking lot.. beer cans.. signs been broken down.. our customers have been complaining..we were letting it happen for a lil bit until they were starting not to respect the situation so as are businesses we look after our customers.. so there no more parking allowed for the bar customers..so now we getting made up bad reviews on or food and restaurant from them because their upset that we not allowing them to use are parking lot.. this restaurant has the best food.. coffee and the best homemade desert that are freshly made every Thursday..we have lots of regulars that come here, this place is very family oriented.. and our food is great. And has has the best breakfast.. Evan a bar tender that works at bar next door comes in and gets food every time. “I’ve come here throughout my entire childhood. Whenever I would visit my parents as an adult, I’d stop by even just for an ice cream cone! Nowadays I enjoy taking my son and can’t wait for warmer days so we can take a stroll down to the Drive-In for some ice cream and fun!! Love seeing the ducks as well.“

“A group of ten of us rode up to our first visit to Jimmy G's and arrived at 11:00am just as they were opening. Tables were moved together voluntarily by the staff at the indoor location of our choice and we were seated immediately. Our server (forgive me as I don't recall your name) was there in a flash, had our drink orders taken and confidently answered our questions without hesitation. She's very good at what she does. We each ordered and between the ten of us we had cheesesteaks, chicken cheesesteak, bone in wings, boneless wings, a pressed turkey sammich, coconut shrimp, onion rings, crab fries, boardwalk fries, popcorn shrimp and I had Jerk chicken tacos. All of our food came out piping hot, in a timely manner and was as ordered. Everyone enjoyed their food and we agreed it's well worth coming back again. Hopefully next time the weather is a bit better so we can enjoy the outdoor atmosphere but the inside was good too. Now bare in mind, it was early in their day and we were the first ones in the door so we had a great experience where others who've reviewed said their experience wasn't so good for one reason or another. Bottom line is we're all human, mistakes are going to be made from time to time and it's how we learn to be better so if a mistake is made during your visit try and be cool about it and give them the opportunity to make corrections before coming here to the reviews to blast them out.“

“My husband and I came here twice while on a weekend trip to Reading. Both times were delicious! The first time, I got an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, which was LOADED with scallions, and my husband got a BLT on an everything bagel, which had bacon PACKED onto it. The second time, we both got BLTs. It was busy when we went on a Sunday morning, but we didn't have to wait too long and our food came out hot and fresh. The employees were very polite and thr food was very reasonably priced. Bonus points for having a drive thru!“

The carrot and celery slices included were quite limp and discolored, so that wasn’t a strong point. The pizza is thin crust, and imo it was a bit tough and chewy. But there were plenty of toppings and overall it was good pizza.“
