“We ate here for the first time yesterday and everything we had was good! The vegetable soup was good and the bowl was a substantial portion. My bacon bleu burger was served on a gourmet roll and was done to perfection and really tasty. The drink I ordered had muddled watermelon with lime juice and moonshine. I would get it again. Pricing was what you would expect to pay. Lastly, the hostess, Sammy Jo was a perfect addition to the place. She gave you an "at home" feel, plenty of guests seemed to know her personally and she loved what she was doing- hard to find these days. Kudos to the staff. We will be back!!”

“Went to eat at Hillbillies and waited over an hour only for the restaurant to close and never get a seat. So called to place an order at Fox Den. Pizza was ready ahead of time and my wife and I got to enjoy it around the camp fire. Good pizza, good wings, and good bread sticks all for a reasonable price.

“Lovely bakery in a very suggestive area. They had so many pies, cookies, and pastries. The best one was a kind of giant bignet (cream puff looking) with delicious custard. The Dutch apple pie is very good because it's not too sweet but the crumbs are too fine so they don't all stay on it when you cut into it. The chocolate chip cookies were different, not sweet but also it felt like they used a different kind of flour? Not sure but they were good.We also got a couple of pieces of pizza that were good but not great.Overall a good store with comfort baked goods.”

“Restaurant Review: Tree Tops in Acme, PA I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday on July 29 at Tree Tops in Acme, PA, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our first visit was back in 2020 when outdoor dining was the only option, and we were enchanted by the fancy setup amidst the forest, perfectly complementing our Frank Lloyd Wright tour. Living about an hour away, we knew we’d return, albeit not frequently. Fast forward to this year, my brother gifted us a card to revisit, and I was thrilled to see the significant updates the restaurant had made. We were fortunate to snag a sunset reservation at 7:45 PM in a “branch seating” area, which turned out to be a delightful treehouse-like setting. Upon arrival, the renovations were immediately noticeable, with a charming new bar where we started with drinks. I highly recommend the bourbon hibiscus cocktail. Shortly after, we were escorted to our table, drinks in hand, and were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful birthday decorations. The treehouse seating was both cozy and practical, with mesh coverings to keep bugs out and fans for circulation. The service was impeccable, with the staff ensuring every aspect of our meal was perfectly timed. We began with delicious bread, followed by a summer rendition of burrata and julienne zucchini, both delightful. The chef’s attention to detail was evident in the palate cleansers and the perfectly cooked steaks with rosemary potatoes and carrots. The highlight of the evening was the whole experience really. Dessert, although not the cake I had expected for whatever reason on the prefixe menu, was still a delightful end to the meal. The restaurant even provided champagne, adding a special touch to the celebration. Watching the sunset from our treehouse table, surrounded by the serene forest, made for an unforgettable birthday experience with my soon to be husband. Tree Tops Restaurant has certainly outdone itself with its recent updates, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining experience.”

Wings were full of flavor and crispy, and the fries were also very good. Nice selection of food and ice cream options.
