10 Best Craft Breweries near Doylestown

Geronimo Brewing at Lilly's Jury Room Brewery •
Next to Honey and Behind Lilly's Gourmet, off, Shewell Ave, Doylestown

“Have been coming here for about a year and have never been disappointed. The Wee Heavy Scotch Ale is a 4.9/5.0, perhaps the best US Scotch Ale I've ever tasted. Great lineup of beers... IPAs, hazy IPA, lagers, stouts, bitters, porters with some imaginative recipes that are instant classics. Terrific food at reasonable prices... pub fare and so much more. The service is terrific, too. Friendly, knowledgeable, they LOVE their work. Two thumbs up for Scott, who served us our last two visits. Finally, the taproom is something out of a movie set. Cozy, intimate, and out of this world. If you live within 100 miles a trip to Geronimos makes the beautiful historic town of Doylestown a must on your bucket list.“

Mad Princes Brewing Brewery • $$
2537 Bogarts Tavern Rd, Doylestown

“This small brewery is tucked away on a side street in Buckingham. It is easy to miss it, but that would be a mistake. We had the Belgian Triple, SMaSH Ale, and the Rye Saison. All the beers were outstanding. A Belgian Wit is being released soon, so I will definitely be back. The owners are super friendly and share their knowledge about making the beer. Bring your own food and sit at the long communal table to enjoy your beer.“

“Brews, band, and BFF'S.... ?I'm having the namesake brew, the "Crooked Eye," I wish I had more thumbs... ?????It has a light sweetness reminiscent of "Shock Top," but the aftertaste isn't bitter and lasts longer. Great job team!“

“Great beer, friendly owners, nice people at the bar! I was staying in the area for a funeral and looked up brewpubs. Almost didn't go in when I saw it was a small place, but I'm glad I did!! I'll be back when I'm in the area again!“

“Free Will Brewing Taproom at Peddlers Village. A great place to grab a draft beer and pull up a chair and people watch or just chat with your family and friends. It is always a favorite of our family to visit when we are at Pedslers Village. You can enjoy your beverage on the deck outside or at a table inside. You can also order food delivered to enjoy with your brew. We enjoyed the following draft beers and would highly recommend them. 1) Beadhead, a dark Czech Lager with 3.8 ABV; 2) Kragle, a west coast IPA with citrus, simcoe, Columbus and Calypso with 6.6 ABV; 3) Northern Pils, a Canadian style Pilsner with 5 ABV. Ask for a sample if you are not sure what you would like to order. The staff are always friendly and helpful. You can pick up some cans to take home with you as well as a shirt, sweatshirt or beer glass to remember your visit.“

“The absolute best local spot. The owner Ryan loves what he does and often enjoys his own spot. Which is so nice to see. The bar tenders are very helpful and hilarious. The drinks are always fun. They have bands, food trucks, trivia night, etc. etc. That front parking lot durning good weather being backed with families and friends hanging out brings life to York Rd and Hatboro!“

Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co. - Dublin Brewery •
139 N Main St Unit 1, Dublin - 5.94 miles

“Jeremy SAVED my 40th birthday party. We were set to have an outdoor party and the weather was looking miserable. He took the time out of his day to talk with my mom and I at length, and even threw in some of his own thoughts (because I clearly was not thinking straight) which we so desperately needed. After we decided Dublin was too small, Jeremy then called Tina down in Croydon who further saved the day by graciously offering to host my 40th at the Croydon location. Jeremy and Tina are some of the NICEST people I have ever met and I will continue to give my support and recommend Nesh Creek brewing to everyone.“

“Place was hopping. Lots of membership dinners attending. Friends ordered Fried Chicken sandwich appetizer. Always a good choice and excellent price with or without fries. My choice of Thai chicken salad was really great. Couldn't finish it but was a nice lunch the next day. IHB offers a nice choice of salads. Wish they would change Members day back to Mondays. I always thought Mondays were slow dining days and having membership night then drew more loyal diners to collect double points.“
