“We have been searching for a local Mediterranean place and let me tell you, we have FOUND it! We ordered a lot to really get a feel for it: The mini sampler (comes with falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, and dolmas) Mixed kebabs (chicken, kafta, lamb) Chicken shawarma Baklava Genuinely nothing was bad. The mixed kebabs were grilled to perfection, all entrees come with delicious yellow rice, a slice of pita with hummus on it, and a salad. And the mini sampler is the best! You get a little bit of everything. All tasty. Whether you like eating everything separately, or mixing it all together, I don’t think you can go wrong with anything here. I also got baklava and it sometimes isn’t my favorite because some places put extra honey, but I’m not kidding when this was the BEST baklava I’ve ever had. And it was my fiancé’s first time trying baklava and he mentioned it might now be a top 10 dessert for him! The owner and workers are so kind too! We will definitely be back.“

“Outstanding! We picked BKG based on the reviews and I must say they are right. The food and service is amazing.

We all chose to be adventurous and go with the specials recommended by our waiter Fathi. That gentleman exudes charisma and is the embodiment of good service. We loved everything we were served even though they were all exotic dishes, which can be a gamble.

FYI. There are no alcoholic drinks and you cannot BYOB. We were disappointed about that at first because we like to enjoy a couple of drinks with a nice meal but that was soon forgotten. We travel a good bit and have enjoyed nice meals in many countries. This one ranks high on our list. Bon Kif Grill is a do not miss.“

“We came across this place while we were in Philly last month,July. We were looking for a place to dine. It was our first time with Mediterranean cuisine. Positive ambience as soon as we walk in, our server ‘s name ELIF ( hope i remember it right)guided as through with menu selection and showed the best costumer service . I appreciated the complimentary bread and the hummus while waiting for the entree.I love the taste of it as freshly baked from the oven. Food portions are just right. The price is also decent. We concluded with a Turkey tea…it amazingly taste good. Will definitely visit this place again….to Elif,thank you very much.“

“We recently decided to grab CAVA on our way home, and the first CAVA we went to we did not have a good experience so we decided to just walk out and drive to the nearest CAVA which was 20 minutes away and when we arrive to the other location, which was this location, they were getting ready to close the store, but the employees were very welcoming and kind and took our order right away and even gave a sample pita chips to our kids to try just in case if they didn’t like it and we just decided to let them know how great they are doing and how wonderful we felt once we felt the CAVA hospitality. We just appreciate the fact that they made us feel appreciated and valued. I knew they was tired because it was close to closing time but they still shared a smile with us. “Waiter was great....humus ...great variety and absolutely delicious....I had the lamb dish and it was good...pulled lamb....my niece had chicken and my sister said it was quite succulent.Dhe had a fish dish that she ate completely and like. Price was great we had a flourless chocolate cake that we all shared and did not finish. It was quite rich. Good experience..we got there right after opening but it filled up quickly. It's worth a try.

“Recently visited Al Dar, the ambience is very good reminds me of old middle eastern architecture. The food was amazing, the moutabbel dip, which is a blend of tahini and eggplant was just the right amount of creamy and smoky. The kebabs were tender and had amazing flavor. Will come again“

“I was visiting Villanova and a good friend brought me to Nova Grill. The owner was over the top nice and accommodating. His Greek Hospitality did shine. Instantly felt like a regular. The place was spotless and well set up. All cleanliness and proper measure were followed perfectly. The food was plentiful, cooked and presented well and hot ( often forgot these days). The Locaniko ( Loukaniko) was spot on in flavor. I will most definitely stop in again when in the area. Highly recommended.“

“Loved our brunch today. We stumbled on this place while visiting Philly. Was intrigued by all the Zagat stickers and went inside. Sampled the weekend brunch menu, Moroccan eggs, crab benedict, French toast and the spinach quiche. All dishes were delicious. But, since I had never had Moroccan eggs before, was very excited about trying that and so enjoyed the spice combo. Also really enjoyed the Moroccan tea. Lovely neighborhood bistro. Clams Casino and Meatballs appetizer set a high bar for the rest of the meal, and they nailed it. Seafood ala Scannichios and the NY strip longjohn were hugely portioned and delicious. Others in our party had the Shrimp Scampi, Chicken Parm and a few others- and they raved about them. Tiramisu and Bananas Foster were sublime. The owner Christian and his family really made us feel welcomed. We will definitely be back on future trips.“

I've ordered pick up at least 5 times now, the first time I felt pretty blown away by the portion and then it's been small since then. The bowls are not filled up all the way, I wouldn't even mind mostly rice and lettuce. Nothing like the images they have of their bowls online. The wraps could be more packed, and the sauces spread out better throughout. Otherwise, the food is all tasty and simple. I'll continue ordering from them since they're the closest option to me, but hope they are able to up their portion game soon. Maybe it's also just their online order portion sizes.“

“Gorgeous location, great service, and most importantly the food is amazing. I fervently wish Irwin’s existed in my hometown as I’m sure I would become a regular. As it is, I will definitely be going back the next time I’m in Philly. The setting, on the 8th floor of an old school building, is extremely cool and aesthetic and they styled the space beautifully with lots of plants. The view is wonderful. I went with a friend and we shared a “girl dinner” of four desserts followed by pasta. I keep thinking about the gelato I had, which was flavored with sweet cream and topped with a layer of honey and a mound of pistachios. The sweet and salty combination was amazing. Another standout was the orange olive oil torte with a bay leaf-infused cream. The lemon pasta was simple with a depth of flavor and strong umami. The bathroom also gets excellent lighting for selfies. Highly recommend.“

We each got a wrap: the “favalafel”, chicken schnitzel, and beef brisket, plus we got the spicy lamb hand pie and “bff” crispy potatoes to share. The favalafel was tasty although the person ordering it suggested they’ll add hummus next time for some extra binder. The schnitzel was also tasty although a bite or two was more on the spicy side than the rest due to a concentration of the spread there. The beef brisket was a real stand-out although a bit messy to eat because of the sauce. The spicy lamb had a nice crisp wrapper and was spicy as advertised. The crispy potatoes were fried to perfection and the zhoug-black garlic ketchup was a nice accompaniment. We will definitely be ordering from here again!“
