“Best fried chicken I've tried in town! Owned by the nicest guy! I wanted to try it after picking up dozens of orders here for customers. The fish was too salty unfortunately, and the seasoned salt they pour is a bit too much. Just ask for no salt and It's perfect. Get your protien fix after walking around kennywood.“

“I'm very happy to have this new place in the neighborhood. Some of the best falafel I've had in Pittsburgh, with great sauces and sides available. “Well, went to Storming Crab in homestead, pa. I was so disapointed. First I ordered a drink. Cranberry and top shelf vodka. Came with no vodka, plain cranberry. People at the bar said they didn't make that drink?? It took over 20 min for the girl to take our food order, which took another 20 min to get and when it came no ketchup or tartar sauce. So waited for condiments which never came, in the meantime we were done eating and another member of our party still hadn't received his seafood boil. Still no tartar sauce, shrimp very cold, now the seafood boil comes. Still no tartar sauce. So they cold shrimp was taken off the bill. I don't understand the time span, looks like they need more workers. Just too slow. I'm not going to give them another chance, first impression last impression plus corn was ordered and told Jazlyn was missing, never got it. With this service this place won't be here long.“

“Can I just say that our experience at Capital Grilr was top notch and sets this restaurant light years apart from not only Pittsburgh restaurants that are not fine dining and are more casual, BUT also other high end restaurants in the area as well! From the very beginning, we called to confirm our ressies and Olivia was so kind as our host, assuring us they would make our son, Max's 16th birthday memorable! ? Then we had Jay (sp?). Shout out to Jay for being so warm and friendly and not only cleared our table and filling our water glasses but he was willing to take some awesome photos of our fam celebrating the birthday boy's 16th b-day!? He even hardly grazed my hubby's arm with with a straw and despite my husband telling him he totally didn't need to, he took the time to go and get him another straw for his drink!? Now that's service at it's best, despite us not being germaphobes and not thinking twice about the arm graze. Last but not least, our waiter itself was CARLO and let me just say, he did not disappoint. Carlo not only met our every need and was back often to check on us, BUT he even anticipated every plate needing to be cleared, (which you don't see much since Covid) and also kept refilling our drinks and even my two boys house made lemonades! He didn't even need to ask, he just knew and would bring out more! He made excellent suggestions and wasn't the slightest bit bothered with a request of extra ice or horseradish on the side for our steaks. Best waiter we have had in over a decade and I am not exaggerating! Thank you Carlos and we will be sure to request you the next time we are in. We are on a tight budget, but love the idea of extra special occasions, such as birthdays or anniversaries eating at this top notch establishment. Capital Grille is hands down the best steak house in the ‘Burgh and believe me there are a lot of them these days. I would say their customer service is what stands out most and we are picky on kindness of waitstaff!?“

They were delicious. The biscuits were good. The baked potato was done well. All of the staff were friendly . It’s worth a return visit to try the Salmon Bowl or maybe the flounder.“

Not sure what type of crab is used, fairly certain it was not lump crab meat? We will try a different seafood entree or sandwich on our next visit & hope for better.“

“I was visiting Pittsburgh for a few days and accidentally found this restaurant in my hotel’s neighborhood. They have incredible Middle Eastern food. If you’re Persian/Iranian, you’ll love their special pizza, which will take you back home. They also have flavorful traditional dishes, and their Ayran is a must-try.“

“I've eaten here a couple of times now for lunch. Regardless of which staff member I was assigned to, they have all been courteous, professional, and friendly. This is a little more upscale than your typical lunch spot, and that's kind of why I like it.
Pictured was a special they were having the other day. Potatoes, meat loaf, covered in a gravy. Onion slivers accompanied the gravy to bring it all together. You can't see the meatloaf due to gravy, but it was in there, and it was delicious!
If you're in the area, definitely try this place out. You're going to spend a little more coin, but the quality of food is there for the price. Oh and they are closed on Mondays, just an FYI“

We started with cocktails at the bar (one unique and one classic, both excellent) then dinner in the dining area and finished with dessert and coffee back at the bar to listen to the jazz trio.
