“I have eaten the food and it's very good. The husband is very nice. I usually walk in. I ordered for delivery this time. One thing I'm my order was vegetable Chow Mein. (Chinese vegetables) She asked if I wanted the noodles. I said "NO, noodles are Lo Mein, I want Chow Mein. Low and behold when I opened my bag I had Lo Mein. The day before I walked in for fried rice. I initially said no to soy sauce but changed my mind 2 seconds later. Got home. No soy sauce. I understand that it gets busy but what I value most in customer service is the art of listening. I WILL continue to eat there but I quess I'll have to reiterate my request to make sure I'm getting what I want. Nobody's perfect.“

“After getting food poisoning from Great Wall, I found Rice House. They have the absolute most incredible and fresh food. I highly recommend getting their coconut chicken, honey chicken, sweet-and-sour chicken, egg rolls, their duck sauce is the best. Their portions are very generous and they have lunch specials up until 3 PM every day. My daughter and I absolutely love this restaurant and the owners are so sweet. “Moved to the area 5 years ago. Have struggled to find a half decent Chinese restaurant anywhere nearby. After dozens of really terrible local options we just gave up. In a desperate need to feed the family without time to go grocery shopping, I finally tried Golden Key. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and food is as decent as I make from scratch at home.

Most notably, they seem to make an effort to wash their vegetables really well. I can rarely eat restaurant vegetables 'cause they're so poorly cleaned & still covered in industrial ag chemicals (I work in the industry, as such I'm sensitized to the chemicals. Jenny loves the fried scallops. Crab Rangoon is unique compared to most restaurants I've tried. Food was fresh and hot. Only complaint is as they forgot the sauces for sweet and sour dishes. I wouldn't order egg rolls again because I didn't like the filling, but won ton on exterior was good.“

We tried sautéed loofah with garlic (fresh and sweet), Chopped Chili Noodles (spicy, fragrant, and light), and Five Willow Fried Egg (a rare sweet-and-sour egg dish made with five vegetables). She also shared her homemade chili sauce, which was flavorful and perfectly spicy.
The food was healthy, not oily, and felt like homemade comfort dishes. The hot green tea paired nicely, and Lily’s recommendations were spot-on. Definitely worth trying!“

“Best customer service experience I've had at a Chinese style take out place. I don't have pictures since we were so hungry. Love their beef, shrimp fried rice. Tried their vegetables coconut curry fried rice. If your a fan of cocunt curry style the rice is very nice balance of flavors. Hot & Spicey beef was another delicious dish. General Tso chicken wasn't a thick liquid of sugar like most places around here. Their’s has layered flavors which hits the spot. Their side hot chili oil is actually spicey and you don't need alot for those seeking a kick. I made a request to add garlic sauce to the vegetables dish and they were so accommodating. “The general tso's sauce IS the best! I get the general tso's tofu (don't knock it till ya try it) and it's great every single time. Their tofu(or whatever)+ broccoli (brown sauce) is really good as well. I don't usually get the fried rice but I recall it being decent. Not a sit in restaurant and it isn't the most welcoming store front as another person as mentioned, but the food is fast and delicious and I have never had a single issue.

“Definitely giving MayFlower in Sanatoga a run as my go-to for Chinese Food. I’ve ordered from here four times in the past couple months. I’ve never been disappointed in the quality of my food, which is rare for me when it comes Chinese fast food. I definitely recommend this place for vegetarians and pescatarians (which I’m the latter). My go to is the Shrimp & Broccoli Combo platter with white rice and a shrimp roll. The texture is great. Never stale. Food stays warm for long too, if you’re getting this for a meal later on. I’d say the prices are reasonable. My combo with a Diet Coke bottle is $15.37. Definitely recommend.“

I'm pretty picky about Sweet & Sour Chicken, and it's been difficult to find a local spot that compared to our favorite place about 30 minutes away.

The portions here were generous, the prices reasonable and the food is delicious. I am a sucker for chicken and broccoli, but I find a lot of places skimp on quality and don't balance the chicken to broccoli... it's usually too much of one or the other. They balance everything well, which was nice to discover.

Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. My other half got the Crab Rangoon and said it was excellent, but maybe too much for just one person.

I've learned to not take it too personally when owners/employees at Chinese takeout places are short with you, as it's more of a they're busy/cultural thing than them actually being rude/mean. I will say that while they have changed over to smaller containers (as ALL takeout places seem to have done), they do still pile in the food. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt for being a hardworking mom and pop shop, and give them 4 stars.

This is the closest you'll get to the quality of NYC chinese food in the area, though Lucky Star in Roxborough is a go to favorite as well.“
