“There's always a different bartender and it seems the more makeup they are wearing the more likely they are to get your order wrong. I ordered a double shot of Jack and a pint of coke and I got a double shot glass with ice and not even filled to the top and my soda had NO ice and it was half the size of a pint. That was a week ago. Two days ago, our food order got stupid screwed up! ...but as long as the bartenders look good, right? Shut up!“

“Tiny “Hometown“ type bar. Everyone was very friendly. We had a cheesesteak, which was very good, and got to put pins in the map to show how far we traveled. Drinks were generous and atmosphere was very fun. We were there on a night when they were playing bingo. It was free and a very fun addition to the night. Only complaint is the smoking. I’m sure this is some kind of last resort for smokers, and they probably love it, but I could do without going back to my hotel smelling like a dirty ashtray after having a drink and a sandwich.Parking: Parking lot is tiny and only accommodates a few cars. street parking is hard to find. This place is at the intersection of a few streets, but there is one of the roads that has free parking across the busy intersection.“

“I visited this place with some of my friends, which is located in the main area of Berwyn. I see a lot of folks who seem to be close groups and locals watching NBA at the time. They have a good collection of beer and nice place to catch some games or spend time with your friends. The service is fast and staff is very attentive. They seem to have an outdoor spot for the service. The parking is challenging at times. Great place. Check it out.“

“Decent burger, good service. The pickle though was awesome, lol. Fresh, crispy and flavorful. My only complaint is lack of wet wipes. Little messy burger (the way it should be) cooked to what I asked. Nice spot to stop when on the SRT. They did have outdoor areas, both open and covered, and allow your pets to join you. I believe I even saw menu items for your canine companion.“

“My wife and I enjoyed our dining experience at The Butcher and Barkeep. There were some very good beers on tap and the food was exceptional. We especially enjoyed the sexy fries which I think is their totally original creation. Its kind of like their own upscale version of poutine and its absolutely delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and professional and helpful in picking out items on the menu. The dining area had a lot excitement going on with people at the bar at high volumes but that seemed to settle down as people filtered out. I think The Butcher and Barkeep is definitely worth a return visit with their diverse spin on bar food, there will always be something new and interesting to try.“

(I parked for the night & did not drive!)The bartender Katie is a doll, she's on top of everything & makes a mean drink. “We were seated very quickly our server which I didn't get her name was very friendly and was very attentive took our order and our food didn't take long. I had a hamburger french fries that was big enough for two people to eat and the salad bar I enjoyed everything. My wife and sister-in-law had the salad bar and enjoyed it!“

“We're visiting from out of State. We found The Flying Pig by accident. Took a wrong turn and got lost. Turned out it was the BEST thing that happened. It's absolutely awesome ambiance, atmosphere and the food is absolutely delicious! We are beyond happy with the entire experience. “In Philadelphia for a 2 day conference. Stayed at a Marriott with no place to eat or relax. Found this place right across the street. Great wait staff that were really friendly. Had the crab cake sandwich with fries....just plain awesome. Paired that with the Alaghash white beer, very very good. Would come back again for sure.“

There was a 2 piece band and had the guitarist not used a speaker maybe we could have enjoyed our dinner together. Even our waiter couldn't hear any of our orders. Our food was good. But we didn't linger so we could go to another bar to catch up with one another.“

“A great go-to for vegans! Apparently both owners are vegan, so the menu has more vegan-friendly versions of items than the majority of restaurants. And the food is really good. I've had a vegan burger before, and love their hummus, and today I tried a vegan cheesesteak hoagie that not only was super good but also I could only eat half of it and the fries (which are also really good...and you can get vegan ranch). It can be difficult to have conversation there, but that's my only complaint (and of course takeout is available).Vegetarian options: Plenty of really good vegetarian and vegan options!“
