We ordered several things and portions were gigantic with lovely presentation. The chicken katsu was a bit dry but everything else was great. We were surprised by the complimentary sashimi garnish on one of our choices, and were also presented with a small beautiful wooden box with chopsticks. Parking: For us it’s convenient to walk. The most convenient parking places are paid, but you can go up into the neighborhood and find street parking if you’re lucky.“

My aunt had a beef teriyaki bento box from the bottom of the lunch specials list on the menu & she enjoyed that & everything else in the Boxed Lunch. I let her try my eel and the marinated daikon from the platter & she was surprised at how yummy they both were. Portions were generous too. The staff were very nice, and attentive. We couldn’t have had a nicer experience. We’ll be back much sooner next time.“

“First impressions, trying to park was a bit confusing I still don't know if parking where I did is right. there is a small area around the restaurant that seems like it could be parking but no lines or guidance out front. Also this place is really small looking on the outside. As soon as I walked in it felt really awkward.i almost walked back out because everyone was just staring at me. Finally after what seemed like forever the sushi chef greeted me. When I was seated the waitress took my order and served me promptly. The miso soup was delicious. The edamame tasted fresh. The prices are a bit more than what I'm use to. I also had the sushi and sashimi lunch combo. The fish tasted very fresh and cleaned very well. Which explains the price. I would come back. Give it a try.

“I'm so glad I found this place. Right in the heart of town. Very nice dark/low-key atmosphere, food is always delicious, and service is impeccable. Awesome place to take that special someone or the family. Everything about Izu is consistent, so you're getting what you pay for every time. Very good menu selections. How many rolls can you consume in one sitting? How many are Izu willing to make? Remember to let someone else pour your sake for you!“

Their menu in general is extensive, so much so that we ordered 3 more rolls than we needed because everything sounded so good. We also got one of their ramen bowls (also many options on their ramen menu!) which was TO DIE FOR. We talked about it for a solid week after! All of our food was so delicious, we feel like we found such a gem of a spot! We’ve already talked about how we’ll be making more Trader Joe’s tripped solely to come back to Kumo 🙌🏼 Highly recommend!!!! “I worked temporarily in Conshohocken and used a delivery app to order from this place. Decided to get the “lion king” and a couple more rolls. I have to confess I was initially confused by the lion king's appearance due to being a hot “baked” roll - I had completely missed that part but was down to try it. This roll is one of the best and most unique flavors I've ever had. Even this day, I still remember the taste and wish I could go back to order it again. Unfortunately, I live far from PA, but if you are nearby, love sushi, and like to try new things, I encourage you to get it.

I worked temporarily in Conshohocken and used a food delivery app to order from this location. I decided to order the "lion king" and a couple more rolls. I must confess that I was initially confused by the appearance of the Lion King due to it being a "baked" hot roll, but I was willing to give it a try. This roll is one of the best and most unique flavors I have ever tried. Even to this day, I still remember the taste and wish I could order it again. Unfortunately, I live far away from PA, but if you're nearby, love sushi, and like trying new things, I encourage you to do so.“
