“The Braised Short Rib is beyond perfection. I truly mean perfect. The food overall was amazing. I was surprised the drinks were not good. Most things just taste like lemon juice and one drink was so bad I left it full. I will say their chilled saké is good. Great food, great service. Will be back again for sure.“

“We had previously always gone to Vic's in Rosemont... (ie Near Villanova). This location in Havertown is fantastic. They are reasonably priced, but the food is always fresh and super good. I highly recommend the three roll deal :-) Their menu is expanding as well. Outside of traditional sushi, they have other entrées as well. I was shocked at how good some of the food was. I would highly recommend them.“

“So I'm writing this review literally one hour after picking up and digging in to margherita, buffalo chicken and cheesesteak pizzas with some friends. "OK," the family says, "best pizza ever." Super tasty, crust is chewy and flavorable, and the team there were so nice. We will most definitely be back!“

I came towards the night my first time with my bf. wish I got my server's name but she was very attentive and encouraged me to try things in my dish i kept avoiding lol. We got gyoza which is made with chicken (big plus I avoid pork) spicy tuna roll, salmon teriyaki and the Gyu Don. Had to come again the same week. This time ordered the Fuki Spicy Miso Pork Ramen and replaced it with beef. Same server w/ a younger man, still a great time.“

“Relatively hip and less expensive dining option for hibachi, in house rolled sushi, Japanese and Chinese cuisine. Usually not extremely busy. Friendly staff, very fast service typically, friendly prices that equate to a very decent meal before maybe going to the regal theater just around the corner for a dinner and movie night that won't kill your wallet these days. If you're looking for a dine in option (take out/delivery available as well) that's not formal or overpriced, yet still decent Chinese/Japanese food, this is definitely a great choice.“

“I was in pa yesterday looking for a Japanese food that my friend stumbled upon ，The service was quick and great. We enjoyed the sushi which was beautifully plated. Everything was fresh and delicious definitely come next time. Very good choice.“

“We ordered on DoorDash. The bag was stapled at the top to be held upwards but the food was sideways. My rolls got soaked in sauce. Not a terrible thing but I’d prefer they were crispy. Highly recommend a different bagging/to go technique. The food was delicious nonetheless. I enjoyed everything in my bento box. The miso soup was good too. The dumplings were tasty but i had to pick out the beans/green vegetables was on it. Personal preference but other than that i will definitely order again. The salad was good wish it were more but it was a lunch combo so not complaining at all. Their ginger salad dressing was amazing.“

“I love Kawa. It’s my favorite sushi restaurant so far and I’ve gone to tons of sushi restaurants in the past and in Japan. The presentation is beautiful, the servings are healthy, and the rice is just ?? delicioso.The servers are so kind and attentive. We love them. Also shoutout to the sushi chefs for being so talented and awesome.We always get their Toro and Uni sushi. Next on the list is hamachi, smoked salmon and tamago. Everything we’ve had was delicious and we’ve never been disappointed with what we end up getting.The only thing that sucks is when my gf and I are craving Kawa and we realize it’s Monday…We also try to limit going there to only once a month but we always break the rule.“

“Got take out tonight for me and my parents and everything was absolutely delicious!!My dads go to is the Tom yum soup and it’s his favorite soup ever! Kind of the only time I see him enjoy eating vegetables! He gets the vegetable one even!I got the massaman chicken curry and it was the best comfort curry ever! “Since new Owner (Linda) has taken over this establishment, it has become my "go to sushi joint"!! Their sushi chefs (John & Yanni) are both amazingly talented and they have created custom sushi rolls for me according to my preferred fish and other ingredients. Presentation is awesome as is the freshness and tasty items they prepare. Linda and her Manager (Cindy) are so welcoming and very attentive to their guests...making everyone feel like a VIP!! Highly recommend this restaurant.“

When you walk in, you are welcomed by an oriental couple who are probably the owners, and they look like they have dedicated a lot of time and love to this business. “Loved the aesthetic and delicious sushi! The fish was quality! A lot of sushi places around here can get pretty crazy with what they put on rolls but Miyake has knocked it out of the park with its wonderfully balanced rolls. We didn't partake in the specials but it looks like they frequently change things up so we should always have something fun to try!“

“We had the best Easter dinner at this location. Our server was Gina, and she was an absolute delight! She was so much fun from the interaction at the hostess stand to serving us. She was amazing! She called me by my first name the entire time. My family was actually surprised we didn't know each other before this visit. Our chef was a blast. He made us laugh the entire time. We had a party of 8 with a wide variety of ages, and he made sure to include everyone in the fun. From my teenagers to my older aunts and my husband and I. “I went the other day and thoroughly enjoyed the NY strip and shrimp fried rice. It was high quality and included fresh vegetables such as broccoli, onions and zucchini. The portion was very good for the price and it also came with a tasty salad. I also got the egg rolls which they make fresh and the two we got for our order where nearly twice the size as regular ones and were very delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try more!“
