“Good drinks, good food and good company... well, except for Larry, he's not very good company. Gorilla Burger is my go too, but I love everything else as well. Gorilla Breakfast in the AM is also unbeatable. Oh and the Ruben, the meatloaf, chili, pizza, steak sandwich, fish and the chips. Lamb sandwich, almost forgot that. My favorite usual place. Love u guys!“

“A couple of nights ago I was at the restaurant with two other people. Wonderful ambience , exceptional service. I am only giving this one negative comment so that someone would be aware that the kitchen staff needs to be educated to make the dishes match what the menu states. We had an appetizer and each of us ordered a different meal. The others meals were excellent and perfectly done. I ordered the stuffed sweet potato with a special topping and crispy shallots. The skin on the bottom of the baked sweet potato was burned. No big deal I could scrape the potato away from that. The shallots, however, were not even close to crispy. They were soggy, limp and bitter. I was disappointed but did not want to make a fuss In front of my friends. We had tasty cocktails and I repeat excellent service. I will be back and will recommend the Tavern to friends.“
