“Ordered a sandwich to take to someone online and was greeted by a great employee. She quickly got to making the sandwich and they said the sandwich was made to perfection. The bread looked fresh and everything that was ordered was put onto the sandwich no issue. The person who got the sandwich said it was one of the best subway sandwiches they’ve had and I’ll believe it, it looked amazing.“

“I’ve walked by this spot so many times, and it seemed every time I was hungry they were closed (closed on weekends) but today I finally stepped in. I ordered 2 bánh mìs and a Vietnamese coffee. Pete, the owner/operator of the spot was the only one there and we instantly jumped into great conversation about the music scene in Philly back in the late 90s. We ended up knowing a lot of the same people. Philly is a tight knit group. So even before eating the food I was already a fan of this spot. Pete served me his special take on Vietnamese coffee while we talked and he made the sandwiches. The iced coffee was excellent, but different and less sweet than Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in the past. He also used ice cubes made of coffee which was an added bonus for a coffee junkie like myself. After we talked for nearly 20 min, I walked home with my sandwich and WOW! Such a solid bánh mì! I told him to make it like he would make it for himself (spicy) and he knocked it out of the park. I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing all my music friends here when they are in the neighborhood. I highly encourage Olde City residents as well as Philly locals to give this place a try!“

“I've been eating the food from this place from day one and I'll never stop. Not a bad item on the menu. Lots of other food goodies in the shop. A friendly, personable staff. And these people are great to my kids and my family. If you haven't eaten here yet, knock it off and come get a sandwich.“

“Was craving cheese fries and heard Poe’s has great ones. Can confirm the cheese sauce itself was very tasty. I wish the fries were crispier, they seemed like natural hand cut fries but got too soggy. Some sogginess is expected with hot gooey cheese on top, but I’ve had crispier.

“The sleeper here is the chickpea hoagie. I’ve made it a point to run through their entire menu. Im halfway through and I have to say everything is incredible. The phone girl was more polite and warm than the girls at night. The cheesesteak was 100 times better; from the roll to the way the meat was chopped up and distributed into the roll. “I only get to order from here a few times a year unfortunately, but every time i get something from here it is great. Eggs are always cooked perfectly. They're variety is fantastic. Cupbop is always great and hardy! They are a family and very friendly people every time. This most recent experience was interesting. I placed an online order and went to pick it up and when i got there all the lights were out due to a black out. I saw someone else go inside and talked to the owners about my order, and they still made my order for me in pitch black! I have never had a restaurant do this, ever. Every time i can get down here and have time i will support them. Everyone else should as well.“

I gave the food 4 stars bc i prefer pork bacon but i do respect them not bringing in pork! just a personal preference. The man was chill, the place is very comforting almost like ur eating at someone’s house and i love the drink selection! please go cop the blue lemonade it was bomb. and the prices are CHEAP. We were in town and needed a fast dinner, and I want to really shout out the crew around 5pm on Dec 21! They took my order over the phone because I wanted something specific, me and the lady were laughing while I placed my order! When I arrived, my order was ready so much faster than I thought and the two male employees were so kind!
To be real, it was the best sub I’ve had hands down. I can’t get any other Jersey Mikes in my area to make it like they did. I dream about this sandwich.

“We ordered 2 sandwiches and a soup for delivery. The woman who took the order over the phone was very nice. The man who delivered it was also super kind and the order was correct. The sandwiches were delicious and made correctly to our order. Soup was good but was too full to eat much of it. Will definitely be back and won’t hesitate to recommend. Turkey Club no lettuce with well done bacon. Chicken cutlet on a roll asked for nothing else on it.“

Order was completed in timely manner and the hoagies tasted great. The sides were okay. They forgot the toppings on the sides that were requested but no big deal.“

“These empanadas are amazing! I bought two each of the chicken, beef and cheesesteak and they were all great. They are a good size, the meat is juicy and the dough is perfectly fried.
