“It’s okay never get my order right or when we say thin sliced. Always thick cut like pre sliced and the weight is always off I work for ShopRite as a deli and I expect my stuff to be right not me walk back and then you guys do it right the second time ! & the new owners has the lunch meat in Handel plastic bags looks very unsanitary & no dates or nothing wrapped properly. I Stopped going there because of the new owners. Old owners never had this problem & Never anything on shelf’s always looks empty. Need the old owners back asap !“

“Sheba's serves up some quality jerk chicken. I also appreciate that there are also vegetarian options. The jerk tofu is just as flavorful and delicious as the chicken. The veggie curry is another delicious dish.
Most people order ahead as the few times I've gone is about a 25 min wait for food. Reasonably priced and you can even just get a side of chicken solo. One of my favorite spots to eat at.“

“Awesome cheesesteak!! Huge portion, loaded with onions. I tried the Black Pepper Cooper, not a huge fan. But that’s just a personal preference. Other then that, it was delicious. Highly recommend. Give them a try. Owner was very friendly also.“

“Tried the loaded Mac with tenders and my boyfriend had a cluck & chicken sandwich combo ! The Mac & cheese was very tasty…I asked for medium hotness but it seemed hotter than that! But overall everything was good and prices very reasonable“

“Classic chicken yeeroh wrap is very delicious! First order with this place was a surprise, and I placed second order the next day before I left Philadelphia:)
I have to highlight their tzatziki, which is the best I have had in various Greek delis and restaurants I have been: it is less sour but creamy and tasty! I order extra tzatziki and bring back home. It pairs extremely well with all entree meats. Absolutely I will revisit this place and highly recommend to anyone!“

“This amazing little hidden gem. I just ordered the salmon cheesesteak and while the brother was making it, he told he I was gonna go to sleep...Bruuuuh I am trying to keep my eyes open. The salmon was cooked to perfection with excellent flavor and the bread was toasted gloriously. This will def be my new spot“

“It's in a difficult spot, but the owner is magnificent. I have been eating there for 20 years and the food quality has not changed.
Parking: There is always street parking. And it's usually about a half hour wait. But good things come to those who wait. ;)“

“Tried Empanadas United today and will definitely be back for more. Had the Chicken, Buffalo Chicken, and Guava and Cheese Empanadas. All were delicious but the chicken was my favorite. Flavorful and the perfect ratio of meat to pastry. I was expecting cream cheese in the guava and cheese empanadas but it wasn’t. Although I was surprised to see a cheese pull when I broke it in half, the sweet and salty combination was tasty. Overall, everything was well made. Definitely want to explore more of the menu. Very reasonably priced as well!“
“She gets downnn, she does not play! Large Jerk Chicken over white rice with a side of cabbage & oxtail gravy on the rice??. The jerk is actually spicy, yk some places jerk chicken be bbq but she has both. Highly Recommend trying this place out!“

“We purchased FRIED CHICKEN WINGS and they are some of the best I've had in decades! Although the wings are not huge, the average size is on the small/medium side. They are cooked when ordered so they were HOT! The coating is crisp and firm and the chicken is FRESH and seasoned deliciously without needing to add any additional seasoning, not too salty. It's in the hood, so it's a no frills tight space, no seating/standing room only. Nice surprise tho!“

“Holy wow, the fried shrimp were incredible. Perfectly cooked. The breading was delicious. Fried shrimp are usually burnt with nasty thick breading, these are not even the same food. Also, I LOVE that they butterfly them. It's almost like 2 shrimps in 1. Can't wait to try the whole menu. Collards were delicious too“
“First time visiting around lunch on a rainy day with a lot of people ahead of me. Not a long wait time at all, the man running the truck very organized. Ordered a pork roll and cheese omelet and was very surprised at how much food , and how great it tasted. The hash browns tasted very fresh. Will definitely be returning.“
“I cannot lie,I hate all other Chinese restaurant around my area. These peoples chicken wing rocks and the rice is not super dark.My favorite chinos and yes Clean kitchen!!“

“I was just passing through close to Temple and wanted Caribbean food. If you are not familiar with poverty and urban environments, you will have culture shock driving thru to the restaurant. But I go where the locals go! This place is takeout only.
The food is delicious. We had curry chicken and oxtails. And sooooo much food for the price. The service is good and lady was very helpful.
The spot could use a good scrubbing but it matches the neighborhood. The friendliness and service makes up for the grimy parts.“

“Found this treasure place when I was looking for Dominican/ Mexican food for lunch at work. Really really good slow cook ribs. I really want to know how they seasoned it even there might be some recipes online. When you chewing the chicharrones the juice/fat just come out and it taste really really good.Ribs/ chicharrones(crispy slow cook pork belly), rice and beans, salad, and maduros(sweet fried plantains) for $13.Do not go to Applebees, TGI Fridays, McDonald’s, meals from local tea like this gives you better and healthier choices, and they deserved more customers.Part of ribs and chicharrones(the part doesn’t include much fat) became too hard/too dry to eat after long time cook, some of them are not eatable anymore since it’s too hard. There should be a way to avoid this problem. As I know the Cantonese type Chinese BBQ restaurant has slow cook ribs and crispy pork belly too (with different seasoning of course) , but theirs doesn’t have this problem, and pork belly are perfectly brown. I don’t know how they do it. Maybe cover meat with aluminum paper and be more accurate at the timing and temperature by cooking them not as long as Latin chicharrones(chicharrones taste harder/crispier). If you try pork belly from both restaurants you will know what I meant“

“If you want a cheap meal, this is your spot, its a fave of locals and others passing through 69th street station and upper darby alike! No frills but your belly fills. And I promise you on your hungriest day, you can get in and out of there for under $20 ... 9/10 times unless you wanna be a greedy @$$ ?They are now taking cards (with a small surcharge) but there is an atm on site. Plus there are slot machines here, along with a TV tuned to either news or sports. They have value meal deals all day, endless breakfast offers all day too.“
“The halal gyro express cart at the corner of 13th and chestnut is by far the best halal food I’ve ever had. The chicken and rice is out of this world and the white sauce is the best I’ve ever had. Keep up the good work!!!“

“Only problem that I have is they use brown bags no plastic bags or bags with handles as you are carrying hot food and I was walking. By the time I got home my shirt was messed up from the butter sauce by me carrying it in my arms. If I order again I will definitely bring my own bag to carry my hot food in.“

“This was a neighborhood staples when I was growing up. So much so that it would be my last stop before leaving Philly when I came home for a visit. The food is still good, but the family-feel of the place is not the same. It seems they are trying different combination of staff, but the group there on my most recent "felt right." They seem to be a part of the fabric of the community.
The prices have been raised and are exorbitant. I know I can find a steak or hoagie just as good in Philly for several dollars less. I was disappointed to see one of the cooks rubbing his hair and his beard as I entered the store and was going to handle food before washing his hands until I said something to another staff member. She received my critique gracefully and handled the situation discreetly.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible.“

“Customer service was great. Food was excellent. We ordered crab balls, fried wings, jerk chicken Alfredo, and salmon fried rice. No complaints at all about anything. Food was ready in about 20 mins. Everything was delicious. Definitely check this place out.“
