“Cesari's has always been my #1 stop for convenience & it was my personal preference & since they closed, decided to give good ol faithful a try since it was a family favorite (extended family) when I was a kid so I knew it shouldn't disappoint. Now, I KNOW WHY it was one of their favorite spots!I got 2 orders of the 1/2 of a chicken for takeout (we'd always eat in the cafeteria when I'd go with my family). It literally lasted me 2 days & a family member ate the rest- that's how much meat you got! It was juicy and tender- MAJOR plus, bc I HATE chicken but how can you pass up that price & honestly, done right (such as here), it's yummy! I enjoyed the stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy. I got the mixed veggies (only complaint I have about that: hard gristle pieces of broccoli stem mixed in. Thankfully I caught it before I ate it & I was at home when I did, bc I WOULD have thrown up). It was only like $20 for 2 meals, the woman at the register for me a foil wrap for my rolls (so they wouldn't get soggy) and gave me a bag so I could hold them (which a lot of the food places do NOT offer!)The boy and girl duo who were working the food counter were very sweet and courteous as well! Thank you for great service & food!“

“My husband and I had our wedding dinner at the Blind Pig Kitchen and it was nothing short of phenomenal. Every single one of our guests raved about the food - from the appetizers, to the entrees, to the dessert, everything was perfect. Sarah was also amazing to work with, quick responses and so kind. Additionally, my husband and I have been to the restaurant for their pre-fix menu, which is also 10/10!“

“My entire search was a place with real food and we found it! I had the Mac n cheese dinner with stewed tomatoes and crispy brussel sprouts as a side for my meal. Delicious, comforting, also healthy at the same time. I also had 2 different soups that had a lovely variety of fresh vegetables inside. The flavors of my meal overall were wholesome, natural, comforting and exactly what I was looking for. I believe this is the only place that offers stewed tomatoes with the Mac bonus points by the way! Having brussel sprouts as a side is incredible! I did notice they do have other fresh made sides! I’m glad to see a local business adding more natural foods and fresh vegetables to the menu! If you’re someone looking for a REAL meal with REAL food. This is the place for you.“

“I wanted so badly to try this place, and while my hopes were high I did leave a little disappointed. My partner had to keep getting up to ask for drinks, and my breakfast sandwich had an egg undercooked with runny whites. So I ordered a new egg, I usually don’t mind just keeping it simple to which my new egg again had runny whites. Don’t get me wrong I love a runny yolk, but not the white. My partners berry compote French toast was amazing! All in all, if you don’t mind waiting a while to get your drinks(and refills) and at least 35-45 mins for your food, it’s good. It felt understaffed, working in food business before, it seemed the waitresses were overwhelmed for sure.“

“We were on our way home from Knoebels from the campground Sunday and we stopped for the lunch buffet or dinner buffet not sure what it is called. But I have to say it was one of the best foods I’ve had in a long time. Everything was top-notch such good flavor. Everything was delicious and they had so many choices to choose from. “Jill at The Grille & Chop House at Indian Hills made hosting and planning a baby shower at Indian Hills stress free. She was very responsive, walked me through a menu with their Chef, and had the tables set up perfectly day of. Jill had plenty of staff (and herself!) available the day of to help with bringing items in/out, putting table games/favors out, serving food at the serving table, ensuring drinks/food were stocked, finished plates were taken, and so so much more. The food was absolutely amazing. Jill is someone I cannot wait to work with to plan another event at Indian Hills in the future with.“

“We've been frequenting Big Dans since it was the little setup in front of Rohrbachs, and it just gets better and better. Today we stopped after picking peaches and got the junior sampler, a pulled pork sandwhich and two Mac n Jack's and to say we are stuffed is an understatement. Awesome sauces was so happy to see they had Alabama white and Carolina mustard, OH! and the craft sodas are very good if you're picky about cream soda, theirs doesn't disappoint 😋 we will be back ofc 🤗“

“Came in town for work and a friend recommended this place. He was spot on. The place has good character, the best selection of beer, excellent blue cheese bacon burger and the best staff. Melissa was a great bartender and gave excellent recommendations on food and beer. Also great conversation. Highly recommend stopping by the Ale House when in town!“

“Always get delicious food and the staff are friendly/polite. My family and I were sat by a table that became obnoxious; I asked our server if we could move tables and keep her as our waitress, at which point the manager allowed it. New table/area was a huge change and made the meal even better!“

But I love their burgers and this is the first time this has happened.
Trainee on...asked for cheesy , broccoli instead of french fries. Got fries on plate.
Had to return to kitchen and get broccoli.

“Food and service great. Could be cleaner . However our experience was not pleasant we sat next to this older lady that was upset that she was waiting outside and claims that no one came to get her. The two girls at the checkout apologized to her several times. She just went on and on how the girls should apologize again. I felt so bad for these girls were practically in tears. Her daughter obviously works there and this lady feels she's entitled, she even yelled at the girls in front of customers. I hope these two employees didn't get in trouble for the lady's actions. That is why I am writing this review. The woman's actions were uncalled for!! Otherwise food and service were great!“

He had Mikes French toast ( strawberry cream cheese stuff French toast) side of bacon and I had the bourbon burger and got the slaw and ff added on. “I’ve been enjoying this sub shop since 1977! Originally owned by the Randello family, I was fortunate to meet Theresa and Maria while a student at St. Cyril Academy. Their family is the best!!! Born and raised in Chicago, I’ve never experienced subs, or cosmos like this! The best EVER! I’ve been returning to Danville since 1981. First stop is always The Danville Sub Shop! Although the original owner has passed, and his family has other businesses in town, it is still as good as I remember! The Cheese Cosmo is the best! My son brought eight home with him the last time we were there!!“

“Stopped at route 61 Chicken shack not restaurant,on a friday at 1101 am..oredered take out chicken wqs outstanding and took less than 5 minutes..my friend got a platter with 2 sides All quality homemade.I got achicken breast and a leg for later..Held up well in take out package..impressive ..I reccomend Massers Chicken Shack for quality , cleanliness,Service and Boy was that breast tasty going back tomorrow Thx Massers! : )“

“I was in town because my mother was having a surgery while she was napping we went out to grab some lunch and stopped in here. I had a nitro stout that was very good and we all thought the food was excellent. A little pricy for my taste but not overly terrible. My only complaint is our table was a little wobbly. Definitely on of the better breweries I have visited and would definitely eat there again.“

“Stopped by 05 June, we were looking for sorbet for a special occasion. We were absolutely blown away by this fantastic small business. We tried several kinds of ice cream (all were amazing) the sorbet was perfect and made a great impression. But, we were even more impressed with the fantastic customer service. it could not possibly have been any better. Very helpful, positive, and a beautiful smile. “Stopped in on my way home to NC. Big thanks to the other Google reviewers because this place is awesome. The Sicilian is made fresh and you can tell it; the perfect blend of crispy on the bottom and doughy middle with quality meats and veggies for toppings. They use a good sauce thats not loaded with sugar. The paninis are huge and they don't cut any corners on the meat. The pasta was also great. All the people working were very friendly and helpful in explaining menu items we had questions about. It's getting harder and harder to find REAL Italian cuisine but you can definitely find it here! Wish I could give a 6th star.“
