“We hired Get smok'd for our wedding.....and to say that it was great would be a drastic understatement. This man went all out. The brisket, Mac n cheese, carnitas, chicken, Street corn, green beans, and a charcuterie board...all of it was absolutely fantastic...everyone loved the food and some even went to his place the next day it was so good! “Came here for lunch with a friend and had a great time. Our server was warm and attentive throughout, checked in at the right moments and gave genuinely helpful suggestions when we were deciding what to order.
Started with the clam chowder, rich, well seasoned, good chunks of clam, perfect for a lunch starter. For mains, the halibut was cooked perfectly, flaky and moist. The shrimp was also excellent, fresh without being overcooked.
Great food, easy conversation, friendly service, perfect spot for a relaxed lunch with a friend. Will definitely be back.“

“What a great find during a recent weekend in Harrisburg. Our server, Maria, was outstanding - knowledgeable, very friendly, and fun. Other staff members were also very accommodating and gracious. I particularly enjoyed the whipped ricotta app and arugula and beet salad. Highly recommend!“

“We were excited to visit this highly rated Coffee Shop for the first time. When we arrived from out of town we were unable to find accessible parking. There were steps up to the entrance which also made it complicated for our 2 wheelchair guests. The place looks so unique & cool, so I’ll definitely return to scope it out on my own to see if I can come back with my physically disabled guests.“

“This authentic Chinese Restaurant is a fantastic addition to the otherwise dull fare of "quick joints" in Harrisburg . Unique menu with something for everyone. Dishes, in ample portions, are served "family style" at the center of the table on a glass "Lazy Susan". No need to pick up and pass, just turn. and add to your plate. Front of house Service is very attentive and always at the ready. Very friendly and will explain the cuisine. We were a party of 7 and each one of us enjoyed our meal and experience. this place is a gem. Poultry, Fish, Pork, and vegan options are available. Exotic fare is also on the menu. This place is great and I hope they are here to stay! Families and kids are welcomed. BYOB.“

“A home away from home! As someone who frequents area coffee shops, there is nowhere I feel more welcomed with my young sons. We love coming here every week! The staff knows our names, and they are kind and compassionate to us. Even though the café is often very busy, care and quality remain consistent. You can tell Good Ground is about so much more than coffee — though of course that's wonderful too.“

“Came to this location after enjoying their ice cream at another location. It was so good, so came back for more flavors. Ordered a small cup of Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup and PB Overload. The PB Overload was my favorite as it was unique, but both were exceptionally good. Very large servings, creamy, and inexpensive. Highly recommend.“
“Amazing and quick. Ordered the chickens and lamb on rice while just down the road and was ready in less than 10 minutes for me to pick up. Got it home and dug in and it was amazing. Wife is a little more hesitant to try some stuff. She tried this and loved it. Full of flavor. We will def be getting this again. Highly recommend.“

“Service was a little mixed but the food was really great. Two of us had the BLT which may have been the best one I've ever had. I think they used Texas Toast for it and the bacon and tomato were top grade. My other friend had the Prime Rib Wrap which he said was excellent too.“

“I stopped in here on a Wednesday night in February for a drink and bite to eat. Many people have told me to check this place out and I finally got in for a visit.
It’s located in a strip mall so it’s not very big as far as space but the atmosphere was tremendously welcoming.
There’s about 10 seats at the bar give or take a couple. I sat between some folks that seemed to be regulars and they all were friendly. There were some tables as well. I tried three different beers and they’re all good. I am not a stout drinker but I tried one and it was surprisingly good. My favorite of the three was pivot parts which was an IPA. They had 12 taps - 4 were ciders and the rest were their own beer. I saw they offer some cocktails as well.
The owner/bartender was personable and had great rapport with the customers. Again, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming - great vibes all around.
They have a small food menu. I had a flatbread and it was nice and crisp like I prefer.
Prices were similar to other breweries. Parking was a shared lot with other businesses but plenty of spots.

“Stopped here for lunch with my husband and our daughters. The place was quaint. We had a friendly waitress and our food arrives quickly. I had the chicken ciabatta sandwich with sweet potato fries, my daughter had the chicken Caesar salad, my other daughter had the LBC burger with fries, and my husband had the Cajun Caesar salmon wrap. Everything tasted good and was reasonably priced.“

“Highly recommend the Grandma’s Trio. Don’t be afraid of the margarita pizza in the middle. I was worried it was too saucy but wanted to step out of my comfort zone. I am SO glad I did! It turned out to be my favorite section, although I must say all three are outstanding. It’s pizza you’ve never had and don’t know you needed, and 100% worth trying. We literally planned a weekend in Harrisburg based on Papa Joe’s. We first tried it two years ago on a trip to the RV show and when the memory popped up this week we decided we needed the 2.5 hour road trip. Thanks for another great meal!“

“Really, really, really good hazy beer. May not have something on draft for everyone, but appeared to have some guest can / bottle options. No beer to go during July 2026 visit, but likely due to demand (and smaller brewery size). Some of the best beer I have had in PA. Didn't eat, but burgers looked good.“
