My husband got a caterpillar roll (eel, avocado, and cucumber) and a noodle dish (can't remember the name). Unfortunately i have yet to find a place that has gluten free eel sauce so I got the salmon crazy roll (minus crispy onions) and the Singapore noodles. Everything was fresh and delicious!! We will definitely be back, especially for those noodles.”

“I’ve been coming to Cocalico Coffee Crafters for about a year and a half now—and I should have written this sooner. CCC is more than just a coffee shop—it’s a place with the warmth of a hearth, and the heart to match. Their Haitian espresso is rich and flavorful, the food’s solid, and the baristas are friendly. The space is large, and they fill it with good energy. But what really sets this place apart is the people. When I was going through a rough patch, I spent countless hours tucked away in a corner writing. Not once did anyone bat an eye at whether I ordered one coffee or ten, whether I took my meals there or not. I always got the same welcoming smile, and authentically good energy from the staff and owners alike. Owned by two genuinely kind humans, Rachel and Scott Elliott, this shop has quietly become a place of refuge and community for folks around East Cocalico—and I’ll always be grateful for what it gave me when I needed it most. “Scratch bakes has coffee and desserts, along with a beautiful seating space. It’s a good spot to come in the afternoon for a social meeting or a relaxing place to work. Acoustically it is a little echoey, but there is music that helps it from having a dead silence.”

“Fantastic pizzas, strombolis, calzones, hoagies, and steak sandwiches. I haven't had anything bad from here in the two+ years I've been going! I highly recommend ANY sandwich because their rolls are amazing!!

Vegetarian options: Tons of cheese-based options all over the menu and the sides/appetizers are great too!

Parking: Street parking only. I've never plugged a meter in Ephrata, but there are meters up and down main street.

Kid-friendliness: Seems very kid friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: There's a step to get in, not real friendly, but not impossible.”

“Amazing location, my wife got the pulled pork with beans and mac n cheese. I got a sampler with pulled pork, brisket, turkey and sausage along with beans and Mac n cheese and cornbread. It was all amazing! If there was a weak spot in any of it (and there wasn’t) - I would say the turkey could have been a tad moister. Portion sizes are way off the charts - I’ll get 3 meals out of the sampler I bought and my wife at least 2 out of hers. If this place hasn’t been on DDD yet it ought to be! Oh a bonus is that it’s literally off the wert - so you can ride your bike there and enjoy the ride as you look forward to a fantastic meal!”

She likes talking to ppl she tried being communicative with the server, but she didn't even pay attention to her, and the place wasn't so busy. As a server, you should be smart about that. Still left 20%, though. Next time, I hope we just get another server.”
