“Saw a bunch of posts in the take out and dining group about Hills To Sea in Ephrata so we gave it a try! My husband got a caterpillar roll (eel, avocado, and cucumber) and a noodle dish (can't remember the name). Unfortunately i have yet to find a place that has gluten free eel sauce so I got the salmon crazy roll (minus crispy onions) and the Singapore noodles. Everything was fresh and delicious!! We will definitely be back, especially for those noodles.”

“I’ve been coming to Cocalico Coffee Crafters for about a year and a half now—and I should have written this sooner. CCC is more than just a coffee shop—it’s a place with the warmth of a hearth, and the heart to match. Their Haitian espresso is rich and flavorful, the food’s solid, and the baristas are friendly. The space is large, and they fill it with good energy. But what really sets this place apart is the people. When I was going through a rough patch, I spent countless hours tucked away in a corner writing. Not once did anyone bat an eye at whether I ordered one coffee or ten, whether I took my meals there or not. I always got the same welcoming smile, and authentically good energy from the staff and owners alike. Owned by two genuinely kind humans, Rachel and Scott Elliott, this shop has quietly become a place of refuge and community for folks around East Cocalico—and I’ll always be grateful for what it gave me when I needed it most. Be sure to check out their site for menus or event rental information—I've not been in attendance to any, but I've seen the care with which they prepare: They're who I'll talk to next time I need such a space.”

“I wanted to give 5 stars for every category but the only thing is some places are in fact better so the category that stood out the most as far as not QUITE a 5 maybe, was the server could have been a LITTLE more friendly. She was pleasant, but not like someone who is trying to really earn the 22+% tips they put on the CC machine they bring to you...so 4 there. Food was great. Just a TAD pricey maybe but overall a great experience! I would go back.”

“I absolutely love the barbacoa tacos! However, I requested no onions on my tacos. I didn't think to check & when I got home, onions were on my tacos. This makes the second time I've ordered I took them back. One of the guys gave me fresh tacos and a Pepsi. I actually would like to try some of the other different types of foods just because they're menu looks simply delicious. So I will give them the benefit of the doubt and continue going back. My review is 4 stars😊”

“Scratch bakes has coffee and desserts, along with a beautiful seating space. It’s a good spot to come in the afternoon for a social meeting or a relaxing place to work. Acoustically it is a little echoey, but there is music that helps it from having a dead silence.”

“The dining experience at Nara Cafe was exceptional, characterized by the freshness and crispness of the vegetables, the perfectly balanced and savory flavors, and excellently prepared rice dishes not to mentiongreat portions. Opting for the 2 protein meal options featuring chicken & shrimp and beef & shrimp, complemented by sides of egg rolls and crab Rangoon, proved to be a delightful choice. Each dish exuded deliciousness, prompting my desire to return and sample more offerings from their menu. The next time I visit, I plan to try their ramen dishes and sushi combinations. I highly recommend this place. I've driven by it ever since I moved to Ephrata two years ago—I wish I had ordered from Nara Cafe much sooner.”

“Fantastic pizzas, strombolis, calzones, hoagies, and steak sandwiches. I haven't had anything bad from here in the two+ years I've been going! I highly recommend ANY sandwich because their rolls are amazing!!

Vegetarian options: Tons of cheese-based options all over the menu and the sides/appetizers are great too!

Parking: Street parking only. I've never plugged a meter in Ephrata, but there are meters up and down main street.

Kid-friendliness: Seems very kid friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: There's a step to get in, not real friendly, but not impossible.”

“Amazing location, my wife got the pulled pork with beans and mac n cheese. I got a sampler with pulled pork, brisket, turkey and sausage along with beans and Mac n cheese and cornbread. It was all amazing! If there was a weak spot in any of it (and there wasn’t) - I would say the turkey could have been a tad moister. Portion sizes are way off the charts - I’ll get 3 meals out of the sampler I bought and my wife at least 2 out of hers. If this place hasn’t been on DDD yet it ought to be! Oh a bonus is that it’s literally off the wert - so you can ride your bike there and enjoy the ride as you look forward to a fantastic meal!”

“Nice place to relax. Me and my sister took my 4 year old niece a couple of weeks ago. She likes talking to ppl she tried being communicative with the server, but she didn't even pay attention to her, and the place wasn't so busy. As a server, you should be smart about that. Still left 20%, though. Next time, I hope we just get another server.”

“This is our go to chinese food joint. My husband is the pickier one and he loves their food!
My only complaint is that their breaded items use flour and cornstarch instead of just cornstarch, so they are not gluten friendly.”
