Fast forward to June 17, day of wedding, and I was nervous—would people have to wait too long for pizza, did we choose types people would enjoy? Would the bacon wrapped scallops be a hit or miss (you know how that goes). Happy to say that everything was a hit! Jessica was easy to work with and the team there that day was wonderful! No one ever had to wait for pizza, they served it up and had another hot one ready to go. Everyone was so nice and customer service was some of the best I’ve experienced! I had several people tell me how good the pizza was and some even said it was the best pizza they’d ever had! Some said it was the best wedding food they’d ever had! “Huge fan, I’ve never had a bad sandwich at Johnny Hot’s, until today 8/30/24. I was supposed to have just pork roll on a steak roll with spicy mustard, no egg and no cheese. The pork roll is usually cut very thin with a nice braise on it. It had egg & cheese on it. The egg & cheese were warm the meat was cool, no grill color to it. By the time I took the egg & cheese off there was hardly any pork roll, very disappointed. It was “no change” Friday, so I gave my apprentice 15 dollars for a sandwich I couldn’t even eat.“

There’s one cook in particular — I think his name starts with a B — who I don’t see as often anymore, but he is always so friendly and welcoming. Every time he’s the one cooking my order, the food is perfect. I actually reorder certain items because I know he’s there.

Don’t get me wrong, the other cook is okay, but there have been a few mistakes on really simple items. I mostly order online, and I will forever be a Lil Trent’s fan, but I have to be honest — the dark-skinned cook definitely deserves more hours. He really does his thing back there.“

The food here is in a whole different league than anything you'll get at one of the cali-mex or tex-mex burrito chains (prices are about the same). The shrimp tacos combine tender & juicy shrimp with pico de gallo and a creamy/spicy sauce--tastes like it's mayo or sour cream based. The steak tacos have chopped white onions and fresh cilantro. Both come in real-deal double soft corn tortillas. Squirt some lime on everything! Enjoy a perfect lunch. But don't bother with their little salsa cups, both green & red are lackluster.“
