“One of the better pizza places on Erie. It's not NYC pizza or Chicago deep dish but you're not there are you? Though you may desperately want to be. The wings are good too everything is as good as could be expected being made in a third tier city not known for that thing. You will not find any better anywhere else in the city that's for sure. Good work.“

“On a Friday evening at approximately 7 PM, my wife and I went to Colao’s Restaurant with our 3 month old daughter. Our baby did not make a peep the entire time we went in to get a table. The hostess, who was exceptionally unsympathetic and rude, said she didn’t believe they could make any accommodation for our very compact stroller. She checked to see if she could stuff us in the back corner and when she was unable to she told us she had no room for us that evening. She didn’t even offer a possible wait time! As a side note there were several open tables available at the time we were standing there and they were allegedly reserved. I have a very difficult time believing they were unable to find a spot for two people and a very compact stroller the remainder of the entire evening. Apparently the “Italian” family restaurant I remembered was no longer very family oriented if there was potential to disturb the ambiance for their elegant clientele. Anyways, we called Ricardo’s and they accepted us with open arms! The atmosphere was much more welcoming and family oriented as we prefer and the staff was extremely pleasant and kind. The portions were larger and in my opinion much better for a more modest price. So if you feel like dining Italian in Erie, I would highly recommend Ricardo’s.“

“The food. The service. The atmosphere. Omg.... this place is definitely a must try if you have not been. The sauce sooooooo tasty. The house salad was gone before I took the picture. The house italian dressing superb. The pasta. The sauce. The meatballs. I had the Italian stallion which had stuffed shells. Ravioli and pasta. The meatballs have been my love to always have. The wings very reasonable. I stuck with what I had way back in the day which were Buffalo Parm. Skin crispy. Sauce to die for. And the pizza. Small cheese and pep and loaded with love and flavor.“

“First off usually I only write bad reviews bit today I was compelled to write a positive 5 star review because I finally had 5 star service my waiters name was Matt B. he was on point attentative personable and present his service was EXACTLY the kind of service you would expect when having any meal in a sit down establishment that man needs a raise a promotion and to be the guy training every other sever in the building that is your cornerstone waiter for an example of what good service looks like (positive happy present and there to help)“

“Having such a bad day till we stopped by this place on the way home. The guys were wonderful. Seating and service was absolutely amazing. And the food!!!!! :) huge servings that tasted like someone put so much love into it. The buffalo wings tasted like buffalo wings !!! First time I ever tasted wings like that we're not from western NY! The zucchini fries cooked to perfection! I could go on but this is just to tuch on the appetizers. “We recently went for lunch and I had the homemade ravioli & Caesar salad, the salad was big and the ravioli was amazing. The best homemade ravioli I’ve ever had 😋.The dishes and the food stayed nice and hot.
