“Went in for brunch today with a group of 25 people (day after wedding brunch). We made a reservation, got there and everything was good to go. Our server was amazing. Got everyone’s drink and food orders quickly and accurately. Food was out in no time. Several employees helped run all the food out and was great to see teamwork like that. All the drinks and food were great and made correctly. Price was very reasonable. I never expect things to be perfect when going somewhere with a group that size because it’s a lot of stress added to an already busy place, but they definitely were more than capable and knocked it out of the park. The wings are good too everything is as good as could be expected being made in a third tier city not known for that thing. You will not find any better anywhere else in the city that's for sure. “Our All School Class Reunion was held at the Colony Banquet Hall this past weekend. Everything was perfect - the Hall can accommodate so many people comfortably, and the wait staff was top notch! They were quick to service the tables, bring whatever was needed, and kind and polite as well! The food was great too! I would definitely recommend the Colony for any of your catering needs!! “First off this place is neat. Being run inside an old train station is just something you don’t see and makes it so much “warmer” inside. We had some of the craft sodas which were good, and for food we had the fried pierogis, The Pittsburger and The Train Wreck. The pierogis were good, the burger was really good, but the Train Wreck was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. I’d drive 500 miles to eat this sandwich again. The fries were really good and all off us were stuffed. If I ever come through Erie again this is the first place I’m stopping.“

“The food as always was top notch. John and Russell have built a brand that has thus far not slipped on quality or on value. The pizza was crispy and hot and the pretzel was done with the perfect crunch and consistency. The only down side was being close to the bar, well staffed, low number of customers and yet it still took a while to get our drinks, refills and for our server just to check in. “We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at the Sloppy Duck in October. We had the private room upstairs for our buffet styled dinner and drinks with a beautiful view of the bayfront. The owner and staff were very accommodating and the service was delightful. To end the night, we went to the bar area for karaoke and everyone had a blast. The DJ was amazing and the atmosphere was so fun!“

“We as a group of 11 came in over about a half hour waiting for the my daughter that ran the marathon. The gal serving us was sweet, she handled 6 different checks with one holding the wings for all. She had the cutest smile. It’s nice to see a person having fun while they do their job. Towards the end of our long stay I told her she did a great job and thanked her. I asked her name and she said Lexi. I felt like I met a friend as she smiled a huge smile so I threw her a kiss, she threw one back. Then she said thank you so much as she was scared as her first huge table. Boss man, hear me. Lexi is a charm. You treat her good and I’m sure she’ll have people coming back to get her smile and great service. When I come from Jamestown way for doctors visit, we will ge back.
