“I visited this week with some family from out of town. The raspberry cupcake sour they had on tap was a group favorite. The menu changes often but they have a few vegan options: fries, impossible burger, and tofu tacos. (Possibly also the pretzel and salad but they may only be vegetarian). I had the tacos with corn tortillas. Three tacos with cubes of fried tofu with Korean bbq topped with pickled onions and cabbage. They are good, and I will probably order them again, but not my favorite taco. I also had an order of salt&pepper fries, which were nice and crispy, well seasoned, and came in a big portion.“

“Good food to the point that I have a difficult time deciding what to get every time. So glad they are open for lunch again on weekdays! A little loud, but it's a bar, so no big surprise there. Service is usually good and portions are fairly priced. If bar food is your comfort food, Plymouth Tavern checks all the boxes.“

“Same family as valerios and the interior is almost identical. Small, casual Italian restaurant; no frills and decent pricing. Stuffed rigatoni and chicken Alfredo were good, IMO better than valerios. Seemed more flavorful and they had more homemade options such as Italian wedding soup and lasagna. The food could have been hotter/cooked longer- it actually came out really quick and was Luke warm and quickly cooled to cold. Specifically the red sauce wasn’t as hot as it should’ve been. Pls take your time especially when not busy. But at least they gave a nice portion of sauce. Most never give enough. Secondly, the side salad was very small and on a weird oblong dish with only cheese and tomato. Aside from those two things the service was excellent, with Ms. Heidi being very polite and attentive and also reminding us to BYOB next time! Dishes were about 14 a piece so $30 for two with waters. I’d say it’s fairly priced with portions and a salad or soup and bread. Sauce was sweet which I enjoyed. But as a full blooded Italian it could always use more garlic and Italian seasoning lol that goes for 99% of Italian places though. Thx for the good service. Also please get lemons as she said they didn’t have them- like, ever.“

“We wanted some seafood on our visit to Erie, and found that Hooks Catfish Kitchen was highly rated. It did not let down!! The fish was excellent, and we enjoyed the take-out Fish 'n Chips vibe too. Counter service with a couple tables available too.“

“Saturday night 12 August we had our Holy Rosary alumni get together for all who attended. Attendees from the 1950s through the 1990s. A wonderful get together for people to catch up with old friends and make new ones. I have had several parties at the colony. The folks at the colony are so wonderful to work with and the food was complimented by many in attendance. Everyone commented on the event and the colony. “We came there for my grandson‘s birthday and there is about 11 of us. I ordered a hamburger but it wasn’t the right burger I ordered. I was going to eat it anyway cause I didn’t feel like waiting. The manager came over. Her name is Alyssa and went and cooked me a new burger And was so very nice to our table. I can’t thank her enough! She knew I was unhappy with the burger by our waitress. That’s what you call a very good manager. I was very impressed by her.“
