I was in Erie for the first time in 11years or so for work. Reconnected with a friend for brunch. He chose Gem city. Let me tell ya the name says it all. It’s the gem of the city. Obviously this was my first time here. What a great spot. Great vibes. I ordered the gem city omelette. It was refreshing from the usual western omelette I would order elsewhere. Great breakfast! Never have an issue with food or service. Usually a decent wait time if you're looking for a table or a booth but it is 100% worth it. Seating at bar is usually open.

Met my cousin here for lunch. It was his first visit to Gem City and it did not disappoint. I love the Avocado ? Toast and almost always get the same thing. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and food was yummy.
