“Nice alternative to the usual fast food joints. Home style food, sandwiches, salads, etc. Small, clean, and not fancy with two big picture windows overlooking the countryside. Even though they were short a waitress and crowded we were served promptly.“

“What do I recommend about Mike’s place?? Everything!! I’ve heard a lot of talk about this place, and one day a good friend of mine and I rode our motorcycles out to here. To say the least I was not disappointed one bit. The food was excellent in taste and very reasonably priced! “We stopped here for a late lunch after a visit to the Bedford Fall Foliage Festival. My wife and I wanted a quieter sit down restaurant to spend some time with our grandson - the food and beverage lines at the festival were long and seating was limited. We liked the festival and seeing all of the vendors and people - but we were happy we found the Kountry Kettle. The food and service were great!“

“My wife and I both had filet mignon (6 oz): cooked to perfection, tender, and delicious. Side of carrots and mashed potatoes were also delicious. Remember when ordering sides that there is enough for two people. Waitress (Michelle) was very pleasant and attentive. She answered our questions competently and stopped by the table often to make sure we had what we wanted. Ambiance was outstanding. The dining room is part of the original tavern from 1796. There is a fine display of Revolutionary War armaments. Lighting is moderate to add to the atmosphere. Hostess was very accommodating when I requested a table away from the noisy party ahead of us in line. Reservations are a must especially later in the evening. We ate at 5 PM and the restaurant was about half full. By the time we left at 7 PM it was almost full.“
