“Stopped in on Saturday evening because it was close to hotel. Very busy and wait staff were hopping. Still the service was quick, friendly, and thoughtful. Ordered a salad to split and a white veggie pizza with ham added. Everything came out quickly and tasted great! Loved the pizza crust, very light, not doughy. Highly recommend.“

“My daughter got the Burrito Grande California Style and it was huge!! It filled her plate! I got the Lunch Fajitas Ricas that came with rice, refried beans and salad. We also ordered the large cheese dip and guacamole. We were very surprised when they brought a soup bowl of each!! Definitely a large serving!! We were there mid-afternoon so we almost had the place to ourselves. Food was very good, service was good and it wasn't too pricey. We'll be going back again!!“

“Food, service and ambiance is always good here. The portion sizes are good and well priced. Food is made to order, so you can ask to add or delete some preparations (like oil, corn starch, etc.) if you need to. Good crowds on most days for lunch, especially on Sundays after church when the regulars come in. Nice owners and staff. I highly recommend this establishment. I've been coming here whenever in the area for about 3 years. It has been consitently good.“

“I ordered carry-out from here a couple days ago for the first time. Got the aji de gallina, my go-to order at any Peruvian restaurant. It was SO salty. Like all I could taste was salt. I was like “okay, that obviously isn’t right. Maybe I just ordered on a bad day”. So I just ordered again today. I got the arroz chaufa with shrimp. Now that was tasty, and look at the huge portion! I have enough leftover for another meal, maybe two! I’m glad I gave this place another shot. I’ll definitely try the aji de gallina again later, maybe next week“

“Well I gotta tell ya, we started out a little shaky with a long wait, but more than made up for it with the food. The young lady that was out front was doing her best to keep up with the register and ordering, the kitchen was slowing things down.When it was all said and done though, the food was well worth the wait. Great flavor and the quantity was off the hook. I can put away some food, but I was struggling to finish the large California Burrito. My wife got the steak Quesadilla and had to save half for later. And the Flan was to die for. I only ordered 1, but she gave us 2. I can only assume to make up for the wait. We will eat there again and I may try the Tacos with cow's head. I had to ask what that was, because the menu just says "head."“

“Excellent Mexican food! Reminded me of some of the local Mexican restaurant's in San Diego.Update - Just went back after two years since I'm not from the area. The place was packed and the food was really fresh and very good. I've included a photo of my pork carnitas which were exceptional. Really reminds me of the outstanding Mexican food found in SoCal!“

“If you like/love Mexican food, you will not be disappointed. I’ve eaten here twice in 3 days. First I had the Birria Tacos and then I had the Alambre and Barbacoa Tocos. That green sauce is spot on and has a nice little kick. I will be going back a couple more times before leaving!Parking: The free parking is down the road at the near by plaza but it’s not far at all. There is also metered parking on the street.“

“The main takeaway here needs to be food, and frankly it's where go for pizza and subs more than anywhere else in Chambersburg. They get hopping pretty regularly, and everyone behind the counter always looks up and says hello with positive energy and pure gratitude.UPDATE 3/21/24 - Went in for the first time in a while and they completely overhauled the inside. “Excellent food, awesome drinks, service was fabulous and a relaxing ambience. I haven't been to the orchards since 2019 and so many things have changed for the better. We ate in the bar area and even though the bartender was swamped, he was attentive and very personable. We definitely will be back.“

“I wanted to give a review of my recent visit to Aleko’s. I don’t get there often, but have been going there for more than 10 years. The food has always been great. I did look at the other reviews before I went just out of curiosity.Called my order in and picked it up. Opened it up to munch on the fries on the way home. Realized I had a small cup of dressing for a large Greek salad and not much tzatziki sauce on the gyro. The meat was also well-done, not burnt.Went back to the restaurant and shared my concerns. They were very happy to fix all deficiencies and shared some suggestions to avoid misunderstandings. Very good advice.- Let them know how you want the meat cooked, well-done, barely warm or somewhere in between. We all have different tastes; we have no problem telling an order taker how we want our steaks cooked.- Check your order before you leave for completeness. We are all human and occasionally make mistakes.Reading over the other reviews I read some people complained the gyros weren’t even made correctly. You couldn’t pick it up to eat.We have so many different ethnic foods available to us and we say we like them, but we need to be honest, we do tend to “Americanize” them sometimes. The “in” thing now are bowl meals. Maybe Aleko’s is trying to get in on that too by the way they assemble the gyros. If you want it done ‘traditionally’ make sure they know that, order it that way.I will continue to support Aleko’s, I love their food. I have no problem giving specifics as to the way I want my food. “Typically we come here frequently on Mondays. This time when we visited service was quick but the waiter was inexperienced or did not care about his job. We were given no napkins with our food. Overall they were a little busy but Napkins are something that all customers need. The food was excellent but the service was worse than expected and left much to be desired.“

We had leftovers for another full meal.The pasta and shrimp were cooked perfectly. The sauces are handmade in the restaurant, not from a can.Our server Bo was very attentive and pleasant.The front dining area is small but comfortable, but there is additional seating in the rear.There is plenty of parking in the front and back of the building.The restaurant is clean and bright.Prices are incredibly fair for the portion sizes served.For a small restaurant, the menu is extensive. “Really good food I think I got some chili and then some loaded tater tots and I can't remember how much it was but well the bowl of chili was like 6 bucks and then that was like 11 bucks so like 20 bucks but I had to take half for almost three quarters of the tater tots home because I can't eat much for one thing but it kind of sucks when you have is bad as nerves of as I do I mean I can literally eat five or six bites all out of something and then I'm full I don't care if I didn't eat for the past 2 days if I just eat a couple of chips or something I'm full I have to like almost starve myself for 3 days or more to actually eat like everybody else does so I don't know they say it's mental but I am not sure about that anymore“

“Came here for night out with friends. We were seated in the open portion of the bar area. They had a few food specials and drinks specials that lasted the night. Food on what we ordered was better than average. Good enough that I would order the same things again. But also had enough to me on others. Service stayed on top of things are enter visit. “My family and I came in tonight for dinner as I did not feel up to cooking. We were seated almost immediately. Our server was excellent. We had Salina. She made our experience memorable. She provided excellent service all while making us laugh and joke around. My youngest daughter was not in a good mood and somehow Miss. Salina was able to turn my daughters mood around because she included my daughter and made her feel special. The food was pretty good. Salina had recommended to try the Friday's Classic Combo, and it did not disappoint. The whiskey glaze is so delicious. The kitchen also did a great job. Our appetizer came first (as it should), and then all of our food came out at one time. I didn't feel rushed to scarf down my appetizer in order to eat my meal hot. We didn't wait very long at all for our meals either. The overall experience was awesome. If you are going to dine in, I highly recommend that you ask for Salina to be your server. She was amazing. 10/10 recommend. My family and I will definitely be returning and asking to sit with Salina; and I highly recommend that you do the same. Good job managers for an overall great experience.“

“Had a wonderful dinner this evening. The ribeye steak was done to perfection. The jumbo lump crab cake was full of lump crabmeat, and NOT filler. The baked potatoe melted in your mouth. The ceasar salad is the BEST i have ever had. The chocolate lava cake with ice cream was a Great dessert to top of our wonderful meal. Our waitress was polite and on time with everything. They deserve more than a 5 star. Would highly recommend them.“

“I love coming here. It's a wonderful place to come for a delicious meal with great service. Imperial has a comfortable atmosphere with a gracious host. The General Tso Chicken was very good. White meat chicken with a pleasant amount of coating in a nicely spiced sweet sauce. The wonton soup was tasty but it could have been served hotter. The egg rolls are made on site and have appealing pieces of meat and veggies inside. I was saving the roll to eat later at home, but I couldn't resist. I ate it as soon as I got in the door. I'm headed back next week for the Szechuan chicken. And more rolls.“
