“Tried this place for the first time and was absolutely blown away. I picked up five pies today for my contractors, and I only went here because they suggested it and I am beyond pleased with the service and food. The guy I talked with at the store named Chris I think he might be the owner, was a great guy and even hooked my contractors up with free cookies! Really appreciate it Chris! The pizzas were fresh and hot being finished as I walked in! We will keep coming back! 15/10 amazing!“
“Wow, the best cheese steak, mounds of steak, cooper sharp cheese and fried onions on choice of regular or seeded rolls. Seeded was a sourdough (but not too sour) made specially for them by Corropolese Italian bakery, amazing! Anna made us feel welcome as we walked in the door, top-notch customer service by all, thank you “
“I grew up on Pudge's cheese steaks and thought as a kid that all cheese steaks were the same, because I only ever had Pudge's. Boy was I wrong. I moved out of Penn Square Village when I was about 20. If you asked me what I miss most, it would be Pudge's. I moved to Pottstown about 25 years ago and looked for a good cheese steak shop. There are a few that are eehh, ok. But none like my childhood Pudge's. It's been 35 years and when I made a FACEBOOK post asking recommendations, a friend said Pudge's. I didn't know that there was a new location in Coventry. I was so excited and not disappointed. It was just like I remember!“
“Been here several times, and it's always a hit. They tend to sell out by late afternoon and early evening on some days, especially weekends. It's got the vibe of a takeout pizza joint, which is pretty normal. The steaks however are as gourmet as they come -- the bread alone is magnificent.Honestly, two people can usually split one cheesesteak and have enough food. They're expensive, but enormous, so splitting is what we do and it's plenty.“
“NGL I am glad I found this place. It's like Wawa but owned by Bevan (mom & pop establishment). He has really inexpensive food tbh. If you are on a budget you can absolutely get outta here with spending under $10.The pictures don't do this place justice. Sure we all appreciate good ambience and décor but if it cuts into the basics then it's not worth it imoI'd say this establishment is a cross between a Wawa (without gas) or a Bodega that specialises in lunchtime & dinner foods. Don't get me wrong he has breakfast but since he doesn't open until 9am it kinda sucks. Unless you work laterThe Large Egg hoagies were decent. Between ordering the omelette, the sausage and just plain egg each person was fairly satisfied with the inexpensive breakfast they didn't have to cook as one person put it. ?I do think that he should offer at least a bit of seasoning like salt and pepper if you wanted but that's just me.Adding a drink can absolutely raise the price very quickly. But with the choices of drinks he has there it's hard not to be tempted (at least for me and another person I was with)I told him he should have prices more available for drinks and such. This way we can make an educated pick on if I want whatever drink is available. Trust me, there are a bunch of options.I cannot express enough how much I think you should at least give a single visit to his place. I really do think he could find a good niche and be super successful. Not that he isn't considering he's been doing this I think he said 20-30 years?I plan on coming back and trying lunch and might try one of those colada or tropical drinks. Best part, the drink will be ice cold I do want to mention, you can call your order in. So you might be able to negotiate with him and add stuff like mushrooms to your hoagies or breakfast sandwiches. I do think he's absolutely an approachable owner. Give him a try!Vegetarian options: I would like to say he has options but I am sure most Vegetarians would not like his no-fill approach to the meals he offers. But it is what it is.Dietary restrictions: Does not come through as available but the owner is absolutely there so just ask. He's a decent guy so you might be surprised. He took my advice, so I would think he's open to helping you out.Parking: Parking might be a little harder if you come during the rushes like lunchtime or dinnerKid-friendliness: I would say he has options for kids, snacks and toys. Yes I said toys lolWheelchair accessibility: Direct front door access is impossible, unless you find the ramps and then roll on the walkway to the front door. Otherwise there are steps in the way (which is not their fault, it's the design of the plaza)“
“The owners are the nicest couple and the remembered me, even tho it's been at least 10 years since I last visited. We talked for almost a half hour and it's hard to believe but we realized I first met them almost 40 years ago, when they first opened...Great people !!“
“We’ve always ordered pizza and cheesesteaks from them. Our go to pizza joint. I gotta tell ya guys, they are more than that I’ve found. The other night I ordered the spaghetti carbonara with shrimp and roasted red peppers cause I wanted something different. Omg it was delicious. Came with a bunch of garlic bread and a salad. Didn’t realize they had the skills for that tasty dish. Spot on perfect. Know to try some of their other pasta dishes. Good job Downingtown pizza.“
“I have been eating at Crossroads since 1971. Newer owners do a great job carrying on tradition. The young ladies at rear take out do a superb job with orders! Of course, the fish on the wall and cozy environment makes the dining experience. Only suggestion is less char on the yummy cheeseburgers.“
“When a place cares about what it does in all areas of a restaurant operation it's plain to see. Nudy's! Great food? Check. Great service? Check! Clean and pleasant environment? Check. Clean bathrooms? Check. I'd eat here everyday. Great job!“
“The best pizza around. I personally like thin crust pizza and Patelmos is great! Good toppings, and good service! I usually buy a medium pizza and bring it home. Because I’m usually the only one in the house that’s eating it, It lasts a few days.“
“Phoenixville is known for their number of pizza places.. And it's a constant debate within the locals which is the best. Hog island, hands down has the best food overall for any option. Sandwiches, cheesesteaks, pizzas, wraps, and wings.. we have had it all and they do NOT disappoint. Not to mention the owner Dimitri will stop at nothing to help his customers. Their prices are justified with their portion sizes and quality of food is second to none. If you're looking for a well rounded joint, look no further!“
“We ordered a Hot RoastBeef sandwich, ChickenCheese steak, and bayseasoned fries. All were delicious. The sandwiches were made with buns from the Philly area. I dont know anything about that bakery, but they were the best. Everything was hot and fresh. The place was spotless and thankfully Warm for today. We definitely will be going back there the next time we are in that area..The waitress was very helpful and brightened up a gloomy day with her cheerful attitude.3/13/24And again we are back at this restaurant and totally happy with the staff and satisfied with the food. We were concerned with the number of cars outside. But there was plenty of available tables no crowding.I highly recommend this place.“
