“I’ve been here a handful of times and every time the food has been excellent, staff is incredibly helpful, and the atmosphere has been great. It’s been crowded every time I’ve eaten here, but I never felt closed in or that the sound was too loud. Special shout out for having a kids’ toilet seat attachment available in the women’s room (hanging by the changing table) (can’t speak for the men’s room). Really appreciated that extra touch. “Stopped on a whim on a Sunday afternoon and sat at the bar. Quick attentive service from multiple staff members. Fool's Gold cocktails, Wood-Fired NY Strip and Flat Iron Steak "Wild Man" ... Excellent! As were the House & Gorgonzola Salads and Fries (standard & sweet potato). The Black Truffle was recommended as an after-dinner cocktail and it was a perfect ending to our meal. Decor, atmosphere, the hint of a wood fire, and friendly courteous service made a fantastic afternoon. I'm glad we stop! ?“
“Wife and I have never had a bad meal here. Not once. We've eaten here several times, the latest being last night for a Valentine's Day reservation with another couple. It's unbelievable how consistently good the food is here. It doesn't matter what you order, because whatever they bring out is excellent. The drinks, the apps, the main dishes - all delicious. Everyone I know says the same thing. Gnocchi con Guancia di Maiale / Paccheri della Casa / chicken parm / mussels and calamari. All 10/10.“
“I've been here twice, and it has all been excellent! The salsa Verde is yummy, the burritos delicious, and even the rice and beans make you want to eat up every bite. Also try the cactus for something different and interesting. The chips and salsa are also the best!“
“This is a wonderful family friendly atmosphere. Fantastic food, even better drinks, and they are all so friendly and supportive of the community! I love to get the Green Goddess Bowl (with the perfectly cooked salmon), then splurge of either a sweet martini or a homemade dessert. In good weather, Ill bring my dog to eat on the patio and watch kayakers pass. 10/10..did I mention they have parking?!?“
“The jazzy music was too loud. Most of my veal wasn't pounded flat so was tough. With $14 each for a glass of house wine and a Gin Martini, the pour was small. I had asked for a full pour of the martini. That means it is to the rim and bartenders should know that as it is how cocktails are to be served. The server was very nice and attentive as would be expected. Overall, not too bad of an experience for a post-Valentine dinner.“

“In Philadelphia for a 2 day conference. Stayed at a Marriott with no place to eat or relax. Found this place right across the street. Great wait staff that were really friendly. Had the crab cake sandwich with fries....just plain awesome. Paired that with the Alaghash white beer, very very good. Would come back again for sure.“

“I cannot express enough how delightful my dinner at the stables was tonight. I wish I took pictures but honestly the food was so appetizing I couldn’t wait. The chicken skewers melt in your mouth, and the seasoning is incredibly tasty. The stables burger is the best burger in town. A good size, not too thin or too thick. The bun was crispy and light, and doesn’t take away from the burgers flavor. The service was impeccable, Willy is personable, kind, and attentive. The manager Liv is also super sweet and friendly. “We had a great GNO here the other night! I had never been here before. We only indulged in martinis and apps, with a side of pizza Margarita pizza was delicious. Bruschetta was also great! Crab spinach dip was good too, wish there was more bread on the side though and none floating in the dip when served, as it was a little too soggy to enjoy.“

“Good food, good service and an amiable gathering place. I highly recommended the baked onion soup, it's very tasty with its decent serving size. The ChopHouse burger was cooked just right and the fish taco was very good. Our server was friendly and efficient. The prices were reasonable, and this is definitely a break from all the surrounding bar and grill places with wall-to-wall monitors that you encounter nowadays.“
