“I read all the positive reviews and had to check it out for myself. I have always found it difficult to find something as simple as a good breakfast place. But this time i found it! The second I walked in, I was impressed. The hostess greeted me immediately and with a smile. I asked if I should order now and she smiled and explained that she'd take my order and she'll bring it to me. It was very pleasant. The store itself is clean and bright. I ordered two eggs medium, sausage patties,home fries with peppers and onions, rye toast with a little butter and a medium coffee. Everything was made exactly as I ordered it. The portions were generous and the coffee was great. Thirteen bucks for all that. Perfect. I'll be back.“

“My daughter and I used to eat at Maman. My daughter is 8. However, Maman drove us out of their restaurant with low quality service and a harassment in us being there for just one hour during our meal. Then we found Nudy's cafe. What's different.... food is better, service is better, cost is lower, and overall atmosphere is way better. Each one of the waiters and waitresses can only be described as outstanding. Nobody pushed us to leave after finishing our meal. My wife has a medical obligation and this is a welcoming place for me and my little girl to hang out while we wait for that to be over. Maman would have threatened us to leave with their Supreme leader ideology. Nudy's makes us feel at home. So if you want higher priced lower quality food with poor service, go to maman. “I ordered food delivery while in town and the food was delicious. The shrimp and grits are bomb! The eggs, bacon and potato platter was also very good. The food came fast and was fresh. I can’t comment on the atmosphere because I have never been inside but definitely a good place to get breakfast food.“

“I have been going to them everyday for months getting all typesnof breakfast food for a job I am working at. Their food is great, they cook large amounts of food fast because of the two cooks they have.

I get it in about 10-15 minutes for multiple people. The coffee is great and not burnt, they give you the right amount of sugar, which is very uncommon but great.

You wont go wronf just ordering here. I love their sandwhiches, omlettes and french toast is soft and thick pieces. They never short you on anything either.“

“I have been visiting this spot since 2001. Same great food, same family. Miss Mom and Pop being there but i am so glad to see the kids take over and continue serving food. The food is great and the price is good. Freshly grinded coffee, fresh food made to order. I dont care what anyone says but this is my go to breakfast spot in the entire Philly area.“

“A local breakfast must go-to! If you're looking for a spot for breakfast on the weekend this is the place. I love breakfast and there is something for everyone. We started with coffee, which was perfectly brewed and piping hot. My entree was the short stack buttermilk pancakes, bacon and a scrambled egg. Our second entree was an acalpulco omelet with chorizo, cheese jalepeno(excluded), onions, home fries( added green peppers and onions) wheat toast. The bacon was delicious, crispy and cooked perfectly. There is also a lunch menu. We will definitely return for breakfast. Coffee was piping hot and really good! I usually brew my coffee at home but coffee was a must on Sunday morning“

“This was the first restaurant my Grandmother took me to when I came to Philly when I was 8 I am going to be 44 in 2 months. Loyal customer for 36 years. They fed my family for 3 generations. It's not the same owners I started out with but the quality of food never changed and these owners owned it for decades. If you can ignore what's going on outside it's a great stop. The neighborhood changed the restaurant did not.“
