“Firstly, Benny is an absolute gem of a person. My husband & I were town for work. I had an issue with the computer taking my order even though they had already closed. I had read the reviews, with 1 from just 2 weeks ago. It didn't make sense that they had just closed up for good. I stopped by today just to double-check and was pleased to meet Benny. He was super apologetic and set about figuring out what happened. He offered us brisket sandwiches to make up for the issue and we chatted while waiting. “We experienced the Dump & Roll food truck at 2SP brewery in Aston PA. We love 2SP’s beers and atmosphere, and they have a great assortment of food trucks Thursday-Sundays. Anyway, Friday night Dump & Roll truck was there, with a super friendly and enthusiastic Peter running it. We got the sampler for 2, which included everything on the menu for a really fair price. Sometimes I’m frustrated with how expensive food trucks can be, but I was really happy with Dump & Roll’s prices. Every dumpling was really good, paired with a sauce for each set. I loved everything, though I didn’t expect the mac & cheese eggroll. It was good, but the least of my favorites, if that makes sense. If you get a chance to try this truck, you won’t be disappointed! The food was great and Peter’s energy was great, so it was a really good experience!“

“Amazing meal. It's been 2 years since our last visit and I feel the food has gotten better. We live in Radnor and Blackfish is only 14min away which is great. Parking was easy. We found a spot on the st on the same block. We did the 5 course tasting menu and it was wonderful. My wife and I both thought the duck was best we've ever had. So tender with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. The portion were great too. I'm a big eater and I was full after the 5 course chefs tasting menu. My wife had to bring some duck home. I can only imagine what the 7 course works be like. It was our anniversary and we had the best meal possible. Service was friendly without being intrusive. This was probably our 5 or 6 time going. Strong 5 star experience.“

“I laugh people complaining about the smoking, go some where else it’s very simple or sit in non smoking and don’t complain about the smoke. Dont expect a small business to have ventilation like a casino y’all that’s ridiculous. There’s very few places left that still offer a smoking section. God forbid a handful still offer it. Get off your high horse as the country has officially catered to nonsmokers in 2025. If this review triggers you, grow up. “Beautiful venue. Seriously, the pics dont do it justice. You must visit to see in person. It is an amazing space in a great location with a nice, courteous staff. There is only one reason and one reason only, I cannot give it a full 5 stars; and it is because my husband and I were not told prior that TWO OTHER EVENTS were booked and would be hosted the SAME DAY as our wedding. Although, I understand business is business, it would have been nice to have been given notice and the courtesy of being informed, as we would have been able to properly notify our own vendors (DJ, videographer) on how to proceed and work.

A photographer from one of the other events rudely interrupted our photographer literally while she was in the middle of filming just to give her pointers on how to tell us to pose. This made her very uncomfortable. I do not blame the host for this happening. But with multiple events being had at once it created an atmosphere for this uncomfortable exchange to take place. This individual should have never been able to just walk up and do this!

Also, with the venue hosting multiple events at once, it appeared to overwhelm the host a great deal. It was written all over her face and at times she seemed a bit flustered. She did apologize to us at the end of our reception and all was good. Overall, I still recommend. Just make sure to ask if other events will be hosted the same day as your event so you are not suprised like we were. Our wedding was still very beautiful. The decor was outstanding. Our videographer captured great moments, especially during the evening at sundown with the lights. Our guests had an amazing time!“

“The best Jamaican food around . Very authentic, great taste, nice portions, reasonably priced and extremely friendly staff. We ordered it to try with my son in law who loves Jamaican food. He has tried several and says this is the best! The chef did his thing! Some of us never had it before and what a treat to try authentic food that was spot on. Not too spicy, just perfect! They go above and beyond to make sure any event you have catered by them is a wonderful affair. We had my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah with them on 10/27/18 at Alvethorpe Manor/Abington Art Center and they made it amazing! They work with you to ensure that your event is what you envision it to be. Kate Winters in particular worked tirelessly to help us from the first meeting to the actual event. She was always available to answer questions and troubleshoot. I mean always. The woman does not sleep! Everyone raved about the food and the ambiance, as well as the professionalism and friendliness of the servers. “After several encounters enjoying Herb Scott's food at events over the years, we finally had occasion to book Herb and his team for our son's graduation party. We arranged for and enjoyed their backyard BBQ package and it was a big hit. Ribs, brisket, smoked catfish, corn, slaws, and so on were delicious. Above all, Herb himself helmed a team each of whom were outstanding in both service and professionalism. Lastly, the house and all areas were left spotless. “We hired Keith and his team from Impresso Coffee to provide an espresso bar at our daughter's wedding this past July. They knocked it out of the park! Our 140 guests enjoyed hot and cold drinks that included espresso, lattes, teas, hot chocolate, cappuccino, and an affogato ice cream bar. The drinks were delicious. Keith and Mariko were so professional and easy to work with. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful wedding. Look forward to working with Keith and Mariko again!“

The bar has it's share of regulars and it is always fun to go in, have a drink and talk with everyone at the bar. Tina who works behind the bar during the day is one of the best bartenders out there. Friendly, attentive, remembers her customer's names and knows her craft. Pat and Alex the owners are hands on, there every day and take pride in their establishment. Two super nice people that get to know their customers. The Whitpain is like my Cheers and I look forward to my visits there each week.“

“I rarely write reviews, but I would be remiss if I didn’t after the experience I had. When I think of customer service, a food truck usually doesn’t come to mind. Most of my experiences have been quick and impersonal — in and out, on to the next.

That’s why I was pleasantly surprised when both women on the truck greeted me so warmly. They were incredibly patient and took the time to answer all of my questions. I initially planned to grab a simple breakfast sandwich, but the menu was far more creative than what you'd expect from a typical breakfast truck.

The food was so good, I had to come back the next day. I’ve been recommending them to others ever since, and I’m looking forward to doing business with them again soon.“
