“Great atmosphere, staff, and amazing food !!“

“Have been a couple times and had the excellent wings. This time I asked the bartender Emily for a non-wing suggestion and she mentioned the Southwest Chicken Panini. I went with that and was glad that I did. The habanero bacon jam was legit. Emily was very attentive even with the gradually growing crowd she had to pour for. Total rock star! Will definitely be coming back.“

“If you’re looking for a bar, this place is good not great. Plenty of tvs so there’s always something to watch, and there is a dart board, but the atmosphere outside of that was just… blank and bleak. Food was amazing tho, wings were great“

“Went in day after Eagles made playoffs in Jan. Took awhile for then to get soda working. Food was luckly worth the wait, wings & Buffalo chicken cheese steak(made it mild. So good ordered ahead for pick up a few weeks later. CASH ONLY. FOOD TOTALLY WORH IT. Place has been there e for years...just never been in recommend by a friend's sister. Only stools & high top tables.“

“Best Bloody Mary in the area- hands down. Fun Man's bloody takes it to a whole other level. I literally drag myself out of bed every other Sunday for the purpose of indulging in his artwork of a bloody. You can taste the care, creation and passion for this drink with every sip. Have yet to have one better than his and as an added bonus, there is usually bacon AND shrimp for garnish.“

“The Pub is a cozy place to grab dinner and watch a game or hang with friends. The menu is amazing, like you were eating mom’s cooking. You always feel welcome by the hosts, servers and bartenders. Even when busy, they figure out a way to get you in. When you stop, you feel like family.“

“I ordered through Door Dash which was a mistake. I tried to get Door dash to correct and finally called the Bucks Pub. My order was remade and delivered by the chef. The food was banging. Ordered the quesadillas, burger, shrimp hush puppies and the napoleon pastry and it was all delicious. The customer service was wonderful and the chef an absolute sweetheart for delivering my food. . If you are in the area stop in you wont be disappointed.“

“Castle Roxx is my go to stop. Every time I come I have a great experience. All of the bar tenders always are amazing and work so hard to make my experience the best in Manayunk. Eric and Vinny are two of my favorite bar tenders. They make even the slowest nights the most fun. I normally come during the week, as opposed to the weekends, and I never regret it.“

“I come here fairly regularly with my running group. This a great neighborhood bar, the owner is awesome and super friendly. The food is also better than you'd expect for a dive bar, but it still has the dive bar charm. This is easily my favorite bar up the hill in Manayunk“

We ordered the shrimp tacos, ahi tuna, cheesesteak egg rolls and chicken fingers for a table of three and were left happily full and dazed from how delicious everything was. Shout out to our wonderful server Josie, who was funny, polite and cheerful. Would definitely come back if I’m in the area.“

“My friends & I (party of 10) met at Capone's on Sunday, March 24, 2024. We were set up in a room that made it very easy for us to talk with each other while we ate. The menu gave a lot of options for all of us, the service was outstanding, and we were not rushed. Most of us had never been there before, but we all agreed how much we liked it, & we plan to do it again.“

“I had a burger delivered and it was so good! It was a nice medium rare and had fresh lettuce, tomato and onion. It was very juicy and the bun didn’t collapse to the liquid. It was also still hot and delicious after the delivery. The bacon wasn’t thin flimsy bacon either it was a nice thickness and had good flavor. The times that I have been to Murphy’s in person the waiters were very nice and it was an excellent enjoyable time. Overall a very nice place, I would go again soon.“

“A friend and I went to The Greeks to watch the Phillies game and one of the worker that was behind the bar were being RUDE to us. We were sitting at the bar and (not even) 4 minutes into the game. He come to us and said; if you guys going to sit here, you have to order, than he added, I’m being serious. My friend and I both know that, but he DID NOT have to be rude about it by adding “I’m serious” at the end of that statement. Before the game even started, I told the other worker that was behind the bar that I would order a few minutes into the game.“

“We showed up today a Steppys very skeptical because of name change. But all was good old Steppys. Michele the waitress was great, polite and professional, my service was perfect, my prime rib dinner was fabulous, so was the crab cakes, salad, mash tasters, and french onion soup. Bartenders need to learn how to work the remote for the music , It is Bose system that you can adjust for each end of the bar and the right channel is off along with the bass . lol I always listen to music when I am there .“

Not the case here in my personal experience. Bartender Kat hit all of the ✔️s in what you'd expect as a new customer. I will return. Many people might be turned off by the "no frills" first impression. But the honest interaction is what works for us. No facades. What I like.“
