“Live in Carlisle but from Altoona.... Every time I visit Altoona I ALWAYS stop here and bring hot dogs and mac&cheese home for all my family! We simply LOVE this Place. Their homemade fudge is the best ever also! Will be visiting again this month!“

“As a truck driver I enjoyed stopping here today, your waitress ( Aliyah) was very friendly very attentive. The special which was two grilled cheese and tomato soup was fabulous. I highly recommend this place it is a place that if I'm in the area I will stop again.“

“When traveling we always ❤️ to look for the small family owned places. This was a great find. My son had the chicken noodle soup and hasn't stopped talking about. He has me trying to recreate it, but so far he told all my attempts have not even come close. Trying to plan another trip that will take us by here again just so he can get more of that soup?.“

“Just a nice little bar and restaurant. Food is outstanding, as is the service. It's not fancy but clean. If you just want a good meal and good cold beer, then this is it.The fish sandwich is huge and excellent. Hubby loved his burger.

“Overall, a great Altoona bar for mixed drinks, shots and bar food - clean bar top and attentive bartenders. If you don’t smoke this is not the bar for you. There’s a bar, the next door over that’s owned by the same owners that’s a great non-smoking option (Zach’s). Regardless of which, if a PA team is playing they’re showing it on several television angles within the bar. There’s an ATM, cash only cigarette machine, and several lottery machines at your disposal.“

“Holy smokes! Best chicken salad I’ve ever had. Got the full size with extra chicken and it fed three adults. Sooo fresh, delicious cheese and fries on top, awesome house dressing. The garlic knots were amazing as well. First time and I’ll be back many times!“

“We came in on 5/2/25. Our waitress Cassie was superb! She knew the menu and was knowledgeable on the craft draft beers. She was very attentive also. I included pictures of our food. The sampler was a build your own. We had wings, southwestern egg rolls, and quesadilla. We also ordered the PGH style cheese steak. Everything was delicious! The sampler could have been a bit warmer in temp. Thats why I didn't give 5 stars. 4.5 more like it. Lol, We will be back.“
“This is a hole in the wall bar but it's been my favorite for years. The only other bar in town attracts a large number of college students. Smoking is allowed, which never bothered me but is an issue for some who have visited. Staff is friendly and attentive. Many good times have been had in this bar.“
