“There was a lot of items for sale to check out. Plenty of seating and coffee was good. BUT not one employee there greeted us or even asked how we were. When checking out the machine was placed in front of us to check out and the girl walked away didn't say thanks...come again....have a good day...NOTHING. Just didn't feel very welcoming at all.”

The staff was friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. Service was quick, and our order was exactly right. It's not often you find a place that excels in both food and customer service, but this restaurant definitely does.

Two tears of cake that was out of this world delicious! Bursting with strawberry flavor and oozing with sweet buttercream goodness! My son absolutely loved the cake and ate several small pieces of it throughout the week even after his party! The cake served over 40 people, and there was still some left for the remainder of the week. Amy is friendly, organized, and timely! “So you're just thinking this is a normal, run-of-the-mill Subway, right? That would be correct but it's execution is done perfectly! First, you'll notice the store is clean, orderly and well balanced. It has the early 2000's vibe with the tan brick wallpaper. I also enjoyed the assortment of canned and bottled beverages you do not normally see.

Next, the server, Maddox, was professional, appropriate and expeditious. He made the sandwiches quickly, accurately and gave the appropriate portions. He did not skimp like some other places do. He followed all appropriate hygiene requirements without issue.

Finally, the bathrooms - a bit weird to post but they were actually clean and in working order. I cannot tell you how many times you grab a quick bite and the restaurant, especially the bathrooms are atrocious.

I spoke with Maddox after the fact regarding a customer who came in after me regarding an online coupon. He attempted to do everything he could but was unsuccessful. He did communicate it clearly that there is a disconnect between corporate-level coupons from online and what can be accepted in the store. Again, he was professional, articulate and as helpful as he could be.

Next time I stop through Somerset, I would definitely come back.”
