“The sushi was amazing. I've tried a ton of sushi places around Pittsburgh PA and this just barely loses the 1st place spot. This is like a 9.8 while the first is 9.9.The salmon sashimi melted in my mouth. It was tender and cut perfectly. A tiny bit of soy or salt and it is divine. I've never had octopus sashimi that was so tender and tasty. Was not rubbery at all.The spicy tuna roll had a little kick too it, and was very good. but that is from me that can barely eat spicy food. FYI jalapenos are pretty spicy too me.The eel sushi was out of this world. The shrimp sushi was prepared delicately so that it was super tender and had that nice fresh taste of shrimp.I got the P5 Sushi & Sashimi (for 2) and let the chief know what I was allergic too and he prepared a beautiful and amazingly tasty assortment for me. Was worth every penny.The miso soup was good.The custard buns were very good. I was not hopeful with that too be honest but they had good flavor and good texture. They were a nice subtle sweetness at the end of the meal.I didn't try and of their bubble tea but if it is like the rest of what I tried I'm sure it is great. Will update once I go back to try those.I highly recommend this place to anyone that loves sushi. Will have to make a TikTok on this place next time I go. It is too good. More people need to know of this treasure.“

“Inside this unassuming storefront in Westview is some of the best Southeast Asian food in Pittsburgh. Lovingly and expertly made by a Myanmarese family, the food is fresh, authentic, and delicious. Go for the salads (pickled tea leaf salad, pickled ginger salad, fresh tofu salad, crispy yellow tofu salad, samosa thoke), the soups, the curries (pickled mango pork), and the noodle dishes.Tip: if you can, eat in instead of getting takeout—the salads especially are at their absolute best when they are freshly made. (The crispy and crunchy components tend to sog out a little otherwise.)“

“My husband and I love Kawa. It is the best place to get sushi or hibachi cuisine in the North Hills. We have eaten in the restaurant a number of times and order take out all of the time. “Oh my gosh, no words can express how yummy the sushi is!! Red river and cry baby 2 were absolutely FIREEEEE! No soy sauce even needed for these rolls. “I have been to this restaurant many times. There are so many choices on their menu's that it's very hard to decide what to eat. The food is excellent, the service is exemplary. They have great sushi and since it's not listed here, my favorite is pork with green string beans. The servings are quite abundant and I have never left there without a leftover container.“

“An enjoyable experience for the whole family! We went on a Friday around 11:30 and were sat with another family at the hibachi grill. The chef was deadpan and hilarious. Highlights include the volcano and the sake gun , which made the meal feel more like a fun experience .Ample food left enough for left overs the next day.“
