Flavorful and the perfect ratio of meat to pastry. I was expecting cream cheese in the guava and cheese empanadas but it wasn’t. Although I was surprised to see a cheese pull when I broke it in half, the sweet and salty combination was tasty. Overall, everything was well made. Definitely want to explore more of the menu. “This hoagie shop delivers quality (Deitz & Watson) lunch meats with a smile! You can have your hoagie made by them, or buy the rolls and lunch meat to make your own at home. When I order my hoagie I ask her to make it the opposite way she makes others, which is the correct way to make the sandwich. For some reason she thinks the lettuce and veggies should go on first, then cheese and lunch meat. I know I won't be able to eat a whole hoagie in one sitting and I'll have to wrap half back up for later. If the lettuce is what makes contact with the bun, the hoagie will be soggy later on. For me it should be cheese, meat, lettuce and veggies (on top) in that order. Picky? I think not. I ask for this because I like her shop and I want to support her small business, she doesn't mind at all. If you want your sandwich made the conventional way, you'll have to ask.While the worker or owner are making my sandwich, I check out what she has in her store. I like to get a big pickle, chips, and rice pudding. I get the rice pudding immediately because there may only be a few and someone else might choose this popular dessert. I check her freezers for good tv dinners and for water ices. The water ice is pre-portioned and prepackaged but still yummy. It's easy to just grab one. There Are other groceries available here, so I can grab what I need quickly.The owner is super nice, I consider her my friend. “Memphis Market is a great place to grab a quick inexpensive breakfast sandwich, cheese steak, pizza pretzels, and most other corner store needs. 95%of the staff is absolutely amazing. I've only had an issue with 1 person there on 3 occasions(out of maybe 500 trips there) and it wasn't a personal issue, just a matter of a woman smoking 2x while too close to the food, inside the store, and 1 other time when she was talking about a some pretty gross subject to another worker,(not much grosses me out, but this absolutely did) which made me cancel my order. She normally works (worked) early AM. Not sure if she is even still employed, but I usually go after lunch these days.“

“Going into city line deli for the first time in 35 years this place has a special place in my heart because this is one of the first jobs I ever had when I was a kid from 1983 to 1986and met my best friend for life there. I certainly didn’t know what to expect when I walked in having such fond memories. I hope it hadn’t changed too much when I walked in that feeling of the 80s came back a little bit, there were some minor changes at the front door. There used to be a register where everybody would pay their check that is moved to the center in between the deli and the cooking area, across from the deli used to be refrigeration cases with all of your retail cheeses, dairy products and other items those are no longer there. The seating has stayed the same with a few changes in the back. There is no more seating towards the back door, which leads down to the bathroom Overall though this still has The look in the feel of the old deli reminiscent of good old times I saw that they had a number counter for customers when they are busy, and I’ll be darned if that is not the same number counter we had and used back in the 80s. It has not changed. The menu is classic Jewish style deli with some twists and new items while the customer base has changed over the years. It seems that they’re still quite a few People that enjoy A good Philadelphia Jewish deli like this I ordered an everything bagel toasted with olive oil, lettuce, tomato, onion, and green peppers and Kalamata olives on the side being vegan. I took out the smoked salmon, but that is something that I would eat every week growing up as a kid minus the smoked salmon. The sandwich was absolutely delicious Brought back so many memories Kalamata I know they’re only olives, but I absolutely love them with this sandwich the saltines of it along with the fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, and green pepper. It’s just so delicious. My friend had a smoked salmon Benedict, which he did like very much while they weren’t that busy our waitress was very nice. The kitchen was a little bit backed up with orders from takeout this did not bother me. I was just glad to be here back in the 80s and the 90s this place was so busy. We would have 6 to 7 waitresses on at a time and the weekend was absurd Friday Saturday there was a line out the door and Sunday you would be lucky to get in. It was the place to be when we received our check I was astonished this place actually is affordable and a good value and will be someplace that I visit more often because of that I just hope I can get out here more often. Very nice people. That have taken over this business if you like, old-school corn, beef sandwiches, smoked fish, platters, and homemade soups. This is the place for you.“

“4 minutes ago NEW Today I ordered a hoagie through grub hub, but when I received my order there was a mistake. After a quick call to the deli I was able to speak with one of the employees (who was very nice, professional and apologetic even though I know we all make mistakes and there were no hard feelings) but she and the manager were able to correct the order and even redeliver themselves! When I received the correct order and opened the bag they had a very sweet message with a nice treat to enjoy later. I rarely leave reviews and I feel as though most people focus on the negatives but this time I wanted to really highlight GREAT costumer service and their delicious food! “Hello and Good Afternoon Google. I visited this spot because I was in the Ardmore area and I needed to eat breakfast. I needed a battery in my car remote and I went to the dealer to get it done. I met so many nice people when I arrived at Martin Main Line Honda. I googled breakfast places in Ardmore and this spot came up. I parked on a meter and then I went in. This reminds me of a quaint and intimate place. There is a seating area and a place in the back where you can leave your personal business card. I left about ten and put them in the slots that were on the wall back there. There were slots for about fifty businesses and their respective business cards. I wanted a menu to take with me so that I could take a picture and post on Google. They said that the menus would be ready later after they were printed. They had many food choices, but I decided on soup. Chicken Gumbo. I am eating light since I have to stay in shape as a Personal Trainer for Fitness After 50. There were two options: Large and a Small. I decided on the Large and then I decided on Take-Out. I sampled it in the car and it was a little too spicy for me. It was good, just too spicy. They also had Chicken Noodle Soup. The staff working there were friendly. I would visit again and select another item. I also purchased a container of potato and macaroni salad.“

The roast beef sandwich was very good and reasonably priced. I didn't care for the pasta salad, which I believe had in it and was way too heavy on the oil for my taste. Your mileage may vary on that one. Inside of store was kind of neat . It's been around a long time . All in all, it was a fairly reasonably priced lunch. I would definitely go back for a sandwich.
