When I order my hoagie I ask her to make it the opposite way she makes others, which is the correct way to make the sandwich. For some reason she thinks the lettuce and veggies should go on first, then cheese and lunch meat. I know I won't be able to eat a whole hoagie in one sitting and I'll have to wrap half back up for later. If the lettuce is what makes contact with the bun, the hoagie will be soggy later on. For me it should be cheese, meat, lettuce and veggies (on top) in that order. Picky? I think not. I ask for this because I like her shop and I want to support her small business, she doesn't mind at all. If you want your sandwich made the conventional way, you'll have to ask.While the worker or owner are making my sandwich, I check out what she has in her store. I like to get a big pickle, chips, and rice pudding. I get the rice pudding immediately because there may only be a few and someone else might choose this popular dessert. I check her freezers for good tv dinners and for water ices. The water ice is pre-portioned and prepackaged but still yummy. It's easy to just grab one. “4 minutes ago NEW Today I ordered a hoagie through grub hub, but when I received my order there was a mistake. After a quick call to the deli I was able to speak with one of the employees (who was very nice, professional and apologetic even though I know we all make mistakes and there were no hard feelings) but she and the manager were able to correct the order and even redeliver themselves! When I received the correct order and opened the bag they had a very sweet message with a nice treat to enjoy later. I rarely leave reviews and I feel as though most people focus on the negatives but this time I wanted to really highlight GREAT costumer service and their delicious food! Kudos to this great local deli!“

Wow! Now this is unique, Muslims running what was once a very well known and excellent 5 Star Jewish Deli. I got takeout Lox bagel sandwich + FF
The guy running the counter was great (new Muslim owner) and my bagel lox cream cheese capers onion & tomato sandwich was excellent & great fries.

So, noticing the Asian owners were gone and a counter guy with a bit of, hey this guy looks and sounds like he might be Muslim, I asked him - are you the new owner? Smiling proudly he said yes, I leaned in and quietly asked - are you Muslim? He said yes and I gave him my heartfelt Salaams. I love having the skill and knowledge of knowing how to greet people from a few different religions.

The place looked and felt very clean, the atmosphere had changed too. Bright and friendly and professional too. The “Vibe” of a good Deli was back, nice!

The 5 stars is for excellent service getting takeout and the food portions and the food quality. I have not sat down for waitress service and have not ordered any other food. This review is only for those things. But, based on that experience I will definitely go back.

“Hello and Good Afternoon Google. I visited this spot because I was in the Ardmore area and I needed to eat breakfast. I needed a battery in my car remote and I went to the dealer to get it done. I met so many nice people when I arrived at Martin Main Line Honda. I googled breakfast places in Ardmore and this spot came up. I parked on a meter and then I went in. This reminds me of a quaint and intimate place. There is a seating area and a place in the back where you can leave your personal business card. I left about ten and put them in the slots that were on the wall back there. There were slots for about fifty businesses and their respective business cards. I wanted a menu to take with me so that I could take a picture and post on Google. They said that the menus would be ready later after they were printed. They had many food choices, but I decided on soup. Chicken Gumbo. I am eating light since I have to stay in shape as a Personal Trainer for Fitness After 50. There were two options: Large and a Small. I decided on the Large and then I decided on Take-Out. I sampled it in the car and it was a little too spicy for me. It was good, just too spicy. They also had Chicken Noodle Soup. The staff working there were friendly. I would visit again and select another item. I also purchased a container of potato and macaroni salad.“
