“So glad this opened up about two weeks ago. Got a 12 piece for game night, some wedges, Mac and cheese, and jambalaya. All the food was delicious and everyone was satisfied. Feeding 6 people a full fast food meal for under $40 is hard to do, but can be done here.“

“Ate here yesterday with my parents because we were excited to see something new in our area. Being Cuban and Puerto Rican, it is nice to see familiar dishes in the area as they are not too common in the Poconos when compared to living in NJ. The portions are huge, the food is well seasoned, and the staff is friendly. We chatted with the owner for a while, and we were thankful that she has decided to make her mother in law’s recipes for the public. Again, we don’t have many options like this up here, so we drove the hour to check it out. We would go again since we enjoyed the food, and it is closer than going into NJ or NY for us. ““A BRIEF STOP at COUNTRY CAFE” Today were on the PA interstate driving to a holiday weekend destination. We had been on the road for hours, and were starving. Google search for local food, and Country Café came up. When you first see the place from the road, it is very deceiving, because it looks small. It is spacious inside, and they can comfortably accommodate more than 50 people. We ordered the meat lovers omelette and the plates are so full we had trouble finishing! Very reasonable prices as compared to our Jersey Diners. The wait staff and everyone else were so nice and friendly. Whenever we travel we go out of our way to look for places like this. We’re glad we found Country Café. Highly recommended.“

“I forgot to note the managers name but she’s a middle aged woman with short dark hair and a heavy European accent. I’ve never seen such an efficient way to fill orders. Instead of printing out one long receipt with the 6 orders I had she instead printed out 1 receipt for every group of food items and laid them side by side on the counter with a bag in front of each one, and put all the fries in one bag, all the burgers in another, etc. When I inquired about the unorthodox method she explained that it makes it easy for the kitchen to fulfill orders efficiently and with less mistakes as they know it’s x amount of fries, x amount of burgers and x amount of drinks and don’t have to keep looking at the screen to see what items are missing. Once all the items were packed she put all the bags lined up neatly side by side in a larger paper bag with handles. When I got to the car and my wife saw it she was impressed with the efficient packing and distribution. I went back inside to get some more condiments and mention to her that my wife was impressed with her skills. She thanked me and smiled.“
