I stopped by this Burger King while driving north toward New York, and I have to say—it was exactly what I needed at that point in the trip. If you’re looking for a place to grab a quick bite, stretch your legs, and use a clean restroom without going too far off the highway, this is a solid choice. It’s located right off the main roads, near I-81 and I-476, which makes it super convenient when you’re on the move. You don’t have to go deep into town or waste time navigating small streets—just a quick exit and you’re there.

When I pulled into the parking lot, there were a few cars but it wasn’t overly packed. Parking was easy to find, and the area felt safe and open. The exterior of the restaurant looked well-kept—not brand new, but definitely cared for. Walking in, I was happy to see the dining area was clean and organized. Tables were wiped down, floors were tidy, and it didn’t have that typical greasy fast food smell some places can have.

I was greeted at the counter within a minute. The staff weren’t super chatty, but they were polite, efficient, and got the order right. That alone is worth mentioning—I’ve had enough road trip meals go wrong to appreciate when everything is smooth. I ordered a Whopper combo and a 10-piece nugget on the side to share with my travel buddy. Everything came out hot and fresh. The burger was well put together—not sloppy—and had that classic flame-grilled BK taste. The fries were crispy, not soggy, and had just the right amount of salt. The nuggets were good too, with the familiar crunch and flavor you expect from Burger King.

The drink station was fully stocked with ice, napkins, lids, and straws available, which isn’t always the case in fast food spots these days. I sat down to eat inside and took a few minutes to relax. The seating area was surprisingly calm, with soft music playing in the background and a few other travelers eating quietly. The air conditioning was working well, which was great on a hot summer day.

One of the most important parts for me on a road trip is the restroom—and thankfully, this one was clean, stocked, and had running hot water. Big win. You’d be surprised how rare that is during long drives.

I also noticed that they had a drive-thru option, and while I didn’t use it, the line seemed to move quickly. That’s a nice option if you’re short on time or just want to eat in your car.

Prices were as expected—affordable and no surprises. They had a few deals posted on the app and inside the store as well, so it’s worth checking that out if you’re trying to save a couple of bucks. Nothing felt overpriced, and the portion sizes were generous enough to leave me full for the next leg of the trip.

Overall, this Burger King really delivers on what it’s meant to be: a clean, convenient, fast, and familiar place to eat on the road. It’s not fancy or trendy, but that’s not what you’re looking for when you’re just trying to make it through a long highway drive. What it does offer is comfort, consistency, and a short break from the car that actually feels like a breather—not a hassle.

Would I go out of my way to eat here? Probably not. But would I stop here again next time I’m passing through? Absolutely. And I’d recommend it to anyone driving through the area who just needs a reliable, no-drama stop for a quick meal, a clean restroom, and a bit of peace before heading back out on the road.“

“I love this place! Great food and great service. The restaurant was reasonably clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good, and everything we ordered through the app was included, which I really appreciated.

My only complaint was with the drinks when ordering through the app. They put a piece of paper over the soda lids, and it gets stuck to the lids and is extremely difficult to remove. As a result, we ended up with pieces of paper in our drinks. We ordered two Cokes and two Sprites, and all four drinks were very flat and had paper stuck to the lids.

Overall, we had a good experience, and I would definitely come back. I just hope they address the issue with the paper on the drink lids and make sure the soda is properly carbonated.“

“This actually might be the best Taco Bell I’ve ever been to. The burritos were full and they did not skimp on any ingredients. They were assembled to perfection. The bathrooms were also very clean. I will say I think the prices are a little exorbitant here in Scranton, Pennsylvania, as they are cheaper even in Denver, Colorado, where I live, but I blame the likely higher taxes here in the north east. If you want your belly full, and your heart happy, I highly recommend stopping at this Taco Bell.“

“This place has had a great revamp. I think the ownership is relatively new. It was a little iffy for a bit during the transition but the whole place now has brand new furnishings and is immaculately clean. The service at the counter and the drive thru is always efficient and polite. I’m sitting now in the blissfully quiet dining room listening to their overhead music (Heart, at the moment - yeah I’m a late GenX sucker 😂), and just finishing up my delightful and perfectly-sized $7 meal deal. A delightful experience. Drinks are refillable to your heart’s content, so who knows, I may camp out here indefinitely.“

“This subway is so different from any other one. I passed two of them to come to this one that lady in there treats you like she knows you it’s always spotless. The food is always fresh as can be My Son like salami and cheese on the urban cheese bread. And trust me we’ve been to our sheriff subways. This is the only one that’s the food is fresh. The buns are always 100% fresh. The cookies are fresh. I would definitely give them five star rating because deserved and if you look back on my reviews for other locations, I have never given a good review But the way they treat you at this establishment. It deserves nothing more than a good review. She takes pride in her work she takes pride and the way she treats her customers and I appreciate that sometimes I’m in a rush and I’ll call them and ask them before I even tell them what I need salami and cheese with a little less salami. They already say oh and they’ll finish my sentence for me and have it ready as soon as I get there, cut exactly the way I want it as well. This is the best subway hands-down the other ones definitely fall short in the customer service area and the fresh area. I promise if you go to this one, you won’t be disappointed, especially the one up in Dunmore yikes on top of all of that they’re rude at that one and they’re allowed to be that way to people. It’s just my personal opinion, but by far this is the subway to go to Hands-down there’s not a single other one that compares“

“Wow! I’ve been here a few times before and it’s never been anything special but I’ve recently been back during the weekend and have been absolutely blown away by kashala (sorry if I misspelled it)! “There was plenty of free parking with an easy turn into the parking lot. There were arrows for drive thru or passing through. We used the clean bathroom when we arrived. There were no paper towels, but they had drying vents. We used the kiosk along with my rewards code. We opted to get two happy meals for more Godzilla Hello Kitty collabs. So far we have two destroyers. After paying at the kiosk, I did not get a receipt. We sat at the high table behind the kiosk with our table number. The server brought the food out within five minutes! I got the hamburger happy meal with chocolate milk. My son got the 6 piece nuggets meal with honey mustard and a large chocolate milk shake. We both got the “My melody X Mothra” toy. I started questioning my life choices. I do like mothra but combined with My Melody looked strange. We agreed that a full on Godzilla happy meal toy would be excellent without the hello kitty characters. I do want to score the “Keroppi x King Ghidorah” or “Chococat x SpaceGodzilla”. My son tried to trade with a girl nearby, but was instantly rejected. It could have been his abrupt approach of “Do you want to trade?” Vs a proper greeting and saying “I have an extra mothra, would you like to trade with me?”
The food was the standard, consistent McDonald’s happy meal taste. My son noticed the chicken nuggets looked thinner and longer. The apple slices were meh. The kid size fries, burger, and apple slices fit well with my weight watchers core plan. I still dropped some weight after this meal. I saved the chocolate milk for later. The honey mustard sauce was great on the fries and burger. This location is convenient on our way home from the different activities in the area. We stopped here after a 5 hour drive and before picking up some groceries at Aldi.“
