“I would like to do the pros first because there are a few. The building is beautiful and nicely done. Our waitress worked hard. My French toast was great and my omelette was good. The cons: I would have addressed this with the staff because it’s not fair to have complaints and just do reviews but I was with someone who never says anything and would have been embarrassed if I had. But how will a business improve if they don’t get feedback? To start, my bagel was cold and hard. Left most of it. My home fries were cold. The pancakes were cold. Our waitress did everything: took orders, delivered meals, refilled coffees (when she had time which wasn’t often), set out ketchup bottles on all the tables, cleared and wiped tables…all while another young girl stood behind the bar talking all about herself to a customer and did nothing to help. We aren’t from the area so I’m not sure we’ll have the opportunity to be back but if we do get to Erie again I’d certainly give them another try.“

“We went for a friends birthday! It was very good food wise, however, I snuck up to the bar and asked about birthday celebrations and if they did anything special, she had said yes we do a brownie and asked me which table/person. The brownie was great and had a sparkler! BUT when we got our bills the birthday girl had a $7 charge for the brownie! I was very confused because I’ve never been somewhere that charged for a birthday brownie and was not told it would cost anything. Just surprising especially being they charged the birthday person. All and all it was good food but wish the staff be more informative.“

“We have frequented here a few times. Tonight we came for food and a place to relax. Great choice. They had two gentlemen’s performing live. They both had amazing voices and laid back cover choices. The crowd was mixed and very relaxed. I had zero over stimulation issues here. Food was good. We ordered buffalo chicken dip it had pickled celery in it. Which I’m def copying the recipe at home now. This is a new date spot in our rotation. The girls were busy and kept up with great service.“

“I went here with my husband a few months ago I forgot how much I loved it. I was traveling through Erie to buffalo and decided to stop in because my husband loves random bars. Anyways we sat at the bar and it was cute inside, nothing fancy but nothing bad. They were super busy and I thought why did we even bother coming here but my husband wanted to take a chance on it. The one thing that made me stay was how nice the bartender and server were. We had this quite tall young lady and there was a short young blonde and despite it being super busy they were super nice and trying very hard to make everyone smile and have a good time with all the commotion. We didn’t stay too long only to grab some drinks and an appetizer but it was very good food. Anyways I highly recommend everyone go here and enjoy some drinks and good food with their loved ones.“

“We attended the BBQ Festival in Kinston, NC, and purchased OOTG’s Bourbon Pecan coffee! It smelled so good and tasted even better the next morning. I highly recommend them if you are a coffee lover.“

“I really enjoyed my visit to this spot. It has such a unique atmosphere inside the historic station, and the beer selection is fantastic. The food was also quite good and paired well with the drinks. It can get pretty busy, especially on weekends, but the staff does a good job of keeping things moving. Definitely a place I'd visit again.“

“I decided to stop by Applebee's Grill + Bar to grab some late-night comfort food after a long day of driving, and it was a perfectly satisfying experience. The restaurant has that classic, familiar neighborhood grill layout with plenty of booths and televisions tuned to sports around the bar area. I opted for their half-price appetizer special and ordered a plate of spinach and artichoke dip alongside some boneless buffalo wings. The food arrived at my table surprisingly fast, and everything was hot, fresh, and tasted exactly as dependable as always. The bartender was also incredibly friendly and efficient, keeping my drink filled and checking in just the right amount despite a busy late-night crowd. My only complaint was that the dining room was freezing cold due to the blasting air conditioning, which made it a little uncomfortable to sit and linger. Overall, it is a great, reliable neighborhood option when you want a casual meal and good drink specials late into the evening.“

“First off this place is neat. Being run inside an old train station is just something you don’t see and makes it so much “warmer” inside. We had some of the craft sodas which were good, and for food we had the fried pierogis, The Pittsburger and The Train Wreck. The pierogis were good, the burger was really good, but the Train Wreck was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. I’d drive 500 miles to eat this sandwich again. The fries were really good and all off us were stuffed. If I ever come through Erie again this is the first place I’m stopping.“

“Post 2020, what a world, Perkins is like Mom's lemon merengue pie available by the slice. The problem is, in post 2020 world inflation and costs have gone crazy. Perkins is an amazing place, still serving breakfast any time of the day, however it is now nearly 50 out the door for two on two breakfast entrees a side of sausage and a drink. The food is consistent and comes as ordered and always tasty. The bill now reflects entrees at a 300% increase from 2020, definitely puts a bit of a bad taste in your mouth.“

“I dropped in for an early dinner and sat at the bar. First, I love a bar with hooks for your purse and a foot rest so your legs don’t go numb. Second, service is fantastic. All the White Buffalo staff take care of you. If they notice your drink is low, they ask if you want another. They check if your order is correct and if you need anything else. All the staff care, not just an assigned server. Few places run this way. I got a salad with hot wing sauced chicken and steamed vegetables – brilliant idea. You don’t need dressing, because the sauce is the dressing. I loved that you have an option of grilled or fried chicken. The kitchen staff has chicken down – moist, not over cooked. Also, I was pleasantly surprised that the salad greens were mixed greens – not plain iceburg. It was wing night, so many around me were eating wings – they serve the biggest wings I have seen. The White Buffalo has many wing flavors and from what I saw, cook to order. Sitting at the bar, I could also see they offer lots of liquor options. I enjoy trying new brands and flavors, this bar does not disappoint. They also have some fun top shelf sippers. Looking forward to returning and trying some new treats.“

“Went there tonight 02/01/26, we sat at the bar. The bartender/waitress was spot on. The bar seating was completely packed and the young lady behind the bar did her job to perfection and as always the food was cooked to perfection and the drinks were perfect. We didn't catch her name but we would like to thank her for the wonderful service! 😊“
