“This review is mainly based on the food because it was a takeout order. From what I could see while waiting for my order the staff and atmosphere were also outstanding. To the food, overall it was very, very good. We had 5 dishes, the empanadas, the green goddess potato salad, the ricotta toast and the risotto. Everything was fresh and well thought out, something lacking in chain restaurants. The empanadas were just right with a beefy brisket filling and a consume you could drink it was so flavorful. The ricotta toast is perfect for a warm summer night and large enough for a entree. The risotto was spot on, creamy with plump seafood. This is my goto restaurant when in the Harrisburg area for dinner and I will be back again.“

“Went in for a slide and got the meat lovers thick crust. Large piece for $3.98 with tax. While waiting I was shocked to see the very large menu of subs, cold and hot, salads and Strombolis. Casual setting if you dine in with great 80s music and sever was great. I was feeling like I walked into a joint in NYC the minute I opened the door and when I saw the sever wearing a NY cap, I figured I was right on with a smile on my face.“

“i was going to pick up for 3 plus me. They wouldn't let me order a 4th sandwich. So I asked the 2-person group behind me if they would order me a burger since they were only getting 2 sandwiches. The grill guy looked at me and said "are you trying to get a 4th sandwich?" Then the person who was ordering for me started getting mouthy with him and the cold cut guy started screaming and waving a knife around. The people who were trying to order my extra burger (for a total of 3 of their 6 sandwich allotment) said "f this, we're outta here" and gave me back my money. I'm pretty sure even if i had gotten back in the twenty minute line they wouldn't have let me order another burger. To be fair, they had a hand written sign detailing the policy. Had i known about that policy, I would have brought another person or called the order in 2 hours before opening at 8 am (as their hand written policy suggested). I won't be back due to the way they handled my in-policy work around (the knife waving was a real turnoff).“

“What a great find during a recent weekend in Harrisburg. Our server, Maria, was outstanding - knowledgeable, very friendly, and fun. Other staff members were also very accommodating and gracious. I particularly enjoyed the whipped ricotta app and arugula and beet salad. Highly recommend!“

“Ate dinner there about a week ago. Food was good but their telephone rang at top volume the entire time we were there making it difficult to talk or enjoy our meal. Complained to waitress who said it had to be that way so they could hear in the back for take out orders. The restaurant was far from busy for in house dining so I guess the owner doesn't care about us; only the take out customers! I have eaten here for years and tried to support them during covid but never again.“

Tonight I went with the penne a la vodka. The sauce was creamy and delicious! Also the bread that comes with the salad is really yummy, it has garlic, herbs & cheese on it.

I’m from Philly and have had quite a bit of halal and this is a great food truck to have here in Harrisburg, adding to late night food options. My only constructive complaint is the menu prices seem to be about $2 too high on everything. My chicken with rice was $12, and for Harrisburg that seems a little high. $10 would be more appropriate. The food is good tho and there isn’t a lot of late night options so I’ll definitely go again.“

The Cashew Chicken & Broccoli came out hot, sauce was tangy, but portion size could have been a bit larger. Her grilled salmon was cooked perfectly. It was Happy Hour when we dined, so the noise was slightly elevated, but that's what you expect going to any restaurant downtown on a Friday night. Overall, 5/5 experience.“

“This is a very convenient restaurant/bar just off of Cameron Street. I got the meat lovers pizza, and it was perfectly sized for one person. The sausage crumbles, meatball slices, and pepperoni were very proportional and tasty. The sauce had a nice fresh tomato flavor to it, and the thin crust was chewy and crispy. This is a pizza that will appeal to everyone. Our server was a delight with a great combination of playfulness and competency. Also, they have a very nice parking lot.“

There isn't a dish I wouldn't recommend, but if I had to give recognition to one dish I would tell you that "Il Toscano" (the Tuscan Rib-eye) should be on your must have list.
