“After years of telling myself I would stop here for food. I finally did for lunch. Got a roast beef sandwich, some iced tea, and pasta salad. The people working in the store were all very nice. The roast beef sandwich was very good and reasonably priced. I didn't care for the pasta salad, which I believe had in it and was way too heavy on the oil for my taste. Your mileage may vary on that one. Inside of store was kind of neat . It's been around a long time . All in all, it was a fairly reasonably priced lunch. I would definitely go back for a sandwich. The gentleman at the counter said they make breakfast sandwiches, so I'm going to have to try that.“

“Nice spot, near La Salle campus and it is very much needed. The service is good, the food is deliscious and they are very quick with your orders. You can use the kisok or go to the counter and use cash. The catering is very nice also.

“Their food is expensive but you get what you pay for. Legitimately great food for a decent price. My family gets hams every easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas from them. Costco sells gift cards for them at a discounted rate too. Worth every cent.“

This joint is always packed! I mean, if you’re not elbowing your way to a table, are you even eating? There are so many regulars here, I half expected to see them signing a lease! “Excellent staff and the home made food is a MUST TRY. I don't know alot about Spanish food but while I was staying at an Airbnb this family oriented store was a few doors away. I went in there for a sandwich and discovered that they have home made Spanish food (hot) everyday and it sells out quick. I have gotten something there everyday since I have been in Philly and it always has been top notch and plentiful. I platter was only 7 or 8 bucks and it was absolutely outstanding. You need to go try this extremely clean and friendly place out and get yourself some authentic home made food. Well worth the trip“
