“My wife and I love Lei Lei. I see lots of reviews on here complaining about the food, the pickup window, etc. so I felt compelled to back up my go to Chinese takeout spot in Havertown in a review. The prices are great and we have never had any bad orders. Go to orders include General Tso's (the combo platter with pork fried rice and an egg roll is a great deal), chicken lo mein, and pork dumplings. Always delicious, and always ready in about 15 minutes. The workers are always very polite and appreciative to have your business. Long live Lei Lei!“

“Great Asian restaurant. Great selection of reasonably priced lunch selections that come with soup. Chinese, bento boxes, sushi, hibachi... All great. The waitress with works here is also fantastic. She works hard, waits on a lot of tables... All the tables. She is supper attentive and efficient, checks on drink refills, boxing up left overs, etc... she is the best.“

“You know it's authentic when most of the patrons are actual indonesian expats.
The food is certainly the strong point. The satay were tender with food peanut sauce.
The grilled fish is a mist try!! Crispy caramelized skin and excellent shrimp-paste chili.
The sauteed bean sprout was fresh, delicious pairing with all the heavy hitters. The weakest link was surprisingly the fried rice, the flavor was not complex enough for Indonesian standards, in my opinion.
But overall the food was excellent.
The restaurant is small but the service is reasonably quick so there's a good turnaround.
Very friendly staff.
Parking is tough, of course because of the location and there's not a lot of parking facilities around. Tight Philly street parking as usual.

The rice was served at the perfect temperature. The owners and staff are the nicest people you will ever meet. If I could only eat at one restaurant for the rest of my life, this would be the one.“

Airy. Creative dishes and everything we ordered was delicious. Only tried about half the options between our family of 5 so definitely need to order again soon!“

“This place was not too bad especially for a mall food court. The service was fast, staff attentive, food was pretty good and portions were more than I could handle. I would not hesitate to go back. I got rice noodles General Tso's, and teriyaki chicken. It was all pretty good.

We had a special request for my little one, plain lo mein, just sauce and noodles they listened and prepared and labelled it correctly. It was raining that day and they took the time to wrap all of their heavy weight paper bags in plastic for us. They provided ample napkins, soy sauce, and forks without prompting.
