“Today I stopped at The Hungry A. I have driven buy there many times. As I walked in the owners and people in there all greeted me like they know me. I had a coffee and it was one of the best I ever had. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. I will be be back. But what really got to me I walk with a cane and one of the girls there saw I was having a hard time she came around the counter and took what I was carrying and helped me to my car. Today there are not many people that are kind as she was. It made me know that there is still kind people in this world. If every would take the time to be kind to someone just once maybe it could be a start to make this world just a little better“

The sandwiches are a bit on the pricier side but usually big enough that I split them into 2 meals. If you go on a weekend or holiday I suggest ordering ahead on their website, I was quoted 25-30 min when I ordered at the counter on a Sunday.“

“This is a great little breakfast and lunch spot. I have had breakfast here and it is excellent. The eggs, toast and hash browned potatoes are done just right. Nice size portion of potatoes too. The lady who takes the order is nice. She always repeats back my order to make sure she got it correctly. Coffee is self serve and they let you get a refill. They serve Korean lunch dishes and dumplings which I plan to try very soon!“

“I’ve been searching Philly for years for something that came close to my beloved San Diego breakfast burritos. Nothing out here came close. Throwing eggs and meat in a tortilla seems easy enough, but trust me, out west burritos are an art form. Well, my dream came true today at Vinnie’s. “I read all the positive reviews and had to check it out for myself. I have always found it difficult to find something as simple as a good breakfast place. But this time i found it! The second I walked in, I was impressed. The hostess greeted me immediately and with a smile. I asked if I should order now and she smiled and explained that she'd take my order and she'll bring it to me. It was very pleasant. The store itself is clean and bright. I ordered two eggs medium, sausage patties,home fries with peppers and onions, rye toast with a little butter and a medium coffee. Everything was made exactly as I ordered it. The portions were generous and the coffee was great. Thirteen bucks for all that. Perfect. I'll be back.“

“Such a phenomenal place for breakfast, containing a large variety of breakfast foods such as pancakes, french toast, waffles, eggs, and more. Nice variety of coffees and lattes as well. They have lunch, but it’s a small menu, but it’s all homemade dishes which is definitely a good thing. The interior is fun, having many different pictures and nic nacs of old timey trends and fads. Very good location as well, being right near the train station.“

“I want to Thank the gentleman who greeted us as soon as we arrived, I apologize for not getting his name, you were wonderful and addressed the issue of my 5 year old grandson who has severe egg and nut allergies. He promptly notified our server as well as kitchen staff to the danger of cross contamination. Everyone was aware and so kind, the service was excellent as well as the food.

“Let's start off with the fact that the food is made fresh along with pack with flavor. The homemade drinks are sooooo delicious. Hold they got food for whatever mood you are in. When I say the food is soooo good it had me dancing while eating my food and crying because my food was gone. It's OK my New favorite place. Oh yeah and they are affordable..“

“The food is tasty, and the prices are very reasonable. For a little over $8, I got a platter of scrambled eggs, pork bacon, and cheese grits. Toast comes with it - they have both white and wheat bread - If it was extra, it was only by a dollar or so.
They used to have multiple tables that you could sit and eat at, but not anymore. The back of the restaurant looks like they're renovating, so those tables are not there. That is the only reason I didn't give the atmosphere 5 stars. However, there is one long table up front. There are no chairs, but on it are the various condiments: ketchup, maple syrup, salt and pepper, hot sauce, etc. My fiancé and I didn't want to eat on the train we were waiting to catch, so we ate at that same long table. Standing up and eating was the better option than trying to eat on a fast-moving train and/or bus.
Staff is very friendly and accommodating.“

“I thoroughly enjoy my dining experience at this location. No matter how busy it is my food always comes out hot and fresh. I never have to wait long to be seated or served. The host and waiters are very pleasant I definitely will be returning. Compared to the Springfield location this is very cozy and intimate setting. There is free parking outside the restaurant and across the way if the spots filled up. I try and capture pictures prior to eating sometimes it’s hard 🤣“

“Being as though I lived in this neighborhood my entire life, I can say that I have never seen this business fall off. They have been a staple since I was young and more than likely beyond that.

The food is the exact type of breakfast food you are looking for. Nothing is over cooked or over seasoned. The food is so good, I find it hard to eat the entire platter at times. It is located in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood, so the environment may not be appealing to some. However, there is no denying or questioning their food and the quality.

Parking: The store is located on a corner. The only place you can't park are the bus stops. However, you can park across the street, behind the bus stops, and along the side the diner.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs to enter, simply a small ramp. Additionally, tables are low and you can rearrange them to fit your needs.“

“22-Apr-2022 breakfast: My friend and i bumped into this place while getting lost. Got the egg, cheese, bacon sandwich. Two light & fluffy scrambled eggs with cheese melted in (not just a hunk of cheese laying there), and like three pieces of perfectly cooked bacon on toasted wheat bread, then wrapped in wax paper and cut in 1/2. Would have been a great deal at 2x the price. Lady was friendly and patient w/ my questions. Easy to see why others love this place but sorry to hear others had bad experiences. We ate in the car while parked in the Wells Fargo carpark across the street. Not sure if it was the beautiful weather or just sharing time w/ a friend but this was the best breakfast i had in many moons. Bumping into this place wasn't destiny- just more proof that the universe is entangled.“
