My friend and I started with the oysters and tuna tasting platter. The oysters were exquisite, and the tuna was, as always, exceptional. We followed with the sushi and sashimi combination, adding salmon, king salmon, and chutoro and Otoro. Heavenly doesn’t even begin to describe it. Every bite was beautifully balanced and absolutely delicious.

The cocktails are equally well crafted, and we ended the meal with sorbet—lemon for my friend and coconut for me. The perfect, refreshing finish to an outstanding meal.

“Just in case any vegans or vegetarians were avoiding this place like i was, the vegan menu is HUGE now and absolutely kicks the ass of any nearby place. I came the day it opened and was not impressed by the selection of vegetarian options so had not returned. I just went today and was blown away by the Ube special roll and many others they have now. Also the service was great! Gave me a free vegan roll he was working on. Just delightful.“

“Although it’s named “to-go” there are actually 2 tables inside for dine in with 4 chairs each. I got the lunch special and they brought my food out and gave me iced water with it! The sushi was fresh and delicious. The man who brought my food out even turned the fan on and put it in my direction. They are all super friendly! “We had a really good experience dining here! The highlights of the dining were definitely the staff and the food quality. The service was excellent—the staff was incredibly attentive throughout our meal. The sushi was absolutely outstanding and fresh. The only downside to our meal was the fried rice, which wasn't that great and lacked the same level of flavor as the rolls.
That being used, the fantastic sushi and top-notch service more than made up for it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!“

“I'm shocked I do not have a photo of the Salmon Bento that I have gotten at least 20 times already. I usually have it delivered via Uber Eats and it's so good that I dive right in when I get it! It comes with perfectly cooked salmon on a bed of sauteed broccoli and onions in a yummy teriyaki sauce. The sides are shrimp and veggie tempura, gyoza, California rolls, and white rice. You know when you find that one go-to restaurant that eases even the worst day at work? Sakura is that restaurant for me!

If you want the bento at a cheaper price - try the lunch specials; it's equally delicious!

I highly recommend this place and will continue to order hopefully for years to come!

“I went for a dinner. I was impressed with authentic Japanese taste offered here. Portion size is very satisfying. Good sushi, ramen noodles were authentic. Pork slices on top were delicious. I ordered takeouts of guidon and curry. I'd come back there when I am in the area next time. It seems majority of people are ordering pickups. Many customers came to pick up their orders. The dining space is nicely prepared and the room ready for anyone to come and dine.“

“This place is a hidden gem. The food was exceptional and the selection was plenty. What pushed this experience to five stars is Abel (the owner), he was super friendly and accommodating. “My daughter said that she was looking to have sushi for lunch today, so we decided to give Herosame in Ardmore a try. Wow, this is one of the best sushi meals we've had in the Philly area and definitely on the Main Line. I called in our takeout order and the server who took our order was very friendly and polite as was the server who brought us our order while we waited in the vestibule. We ordered the Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box and the Lunch Triple Roll Combo. Wow! I thought they had accidentally give us another person's order as the bags were quite heavy. Both lunch specials could easily be split over two meals or at least a meal and a leftovers snack. The Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box included a small house salad, a pint of Miso Soup, 2 Shumai, a California Roll, 6 large Teriyaki Shrimp and a pint of steamed white rice. The salad was a crisp and refreshing spring mix with thinly shredded carrots and a halved grape tomato with a delicious dressing. The Miso soup was very rich and tasty. The Shumai were delicious with a nice crisp exterior, but soft, tender and enjoyable meat inside. The California Roll was huge and stuffed with super fresh crab stick and vegetables topped off with tobiko. The Teriyaki Shrimp were just a hair overcooked, but still delicious. The Three Roll Lunch Combo featured a choice of three rolls from a list of twenty different rolls so my daughter picked the Shrimp Avocado Roll, Tempura Roll and Philly Roll. All three rolls, just like my Bento Box's California Roll were huge with the Shrimp Tempura Rolls being gigantic. One piece of the tempura roll was at least twice the size of other sushi rolls I've had. Each roll was stuffed with the traditional meats and veggie fillings. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Herosame will definitely be on our family's list for future Japanese lunches and dinners!“

“This place is a gem. Fast and friendly service, the best ginger dressing on a house salad I have ever tasted. The freshest fish you will find on the main line. The rice was served at the perfect temperature. The owners and staff are the nicest people you will ever meet. If I could only eat at one restaurant for the rest of my life, this would be the one.“

“It's a restaurant in the Comcast food court. They have a lot of pre packaged sushi, sashimi options. There are some prepackage hot food items also. In particular I like the Shrimp Tempura Kimchi Fried Rice, it has great flavors, fried egg, tempura shrimp. One of my go to favs.“

“Great food. Best at Specialty rolls rather than classics tho. Chipped dishware is way too common though. that exposed ceramic can cause silica contamination and speed up damage to the dishes or cause mold growth. Can also be kinda loud. But good service and food.“

“We love Yuki! They have outstanding food, from appetizers to a large selection of Sushi. We've never had a bad meal or bad service here. We have been ordering delivery once a week since the quarantine (min order of $25 to qualify). They are offering credit card payment over the phone, and the delivery man safely passed off our order from a distance while wearing gloves. Support local businesses like Yuki Sushi right now if you're able to!“

“Kasumi Sushi was our go-to lunch spot when I worked at an office near the Philadelphia Airport. My coworkers and I ate here regularly, both dining in and ordering takeout, and it never let us down.

“I've been to this restaurant a few times as my friend introduced it to me + it never disappoints. The first time I went on my own after church I tried Sushi for the 1st time I had Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a salmon cucumber rolls and they were so good my favorite is the Philadelphia Roll. Today I went w/ my friend and we had the Chicken Urbon Ramen soup (hopefully I spelled right, haha!) it was so good ☺️. Totally recommend 😉“

“My family of 10 went for a birthday. We had a great time. The food was delicious. The performance was extremely entertaining. The fire volcano was iconic! Everyone loved that. “First impressions, trying to park was a bit confusing I still don't know if parking where I did is right. there is a small area around the restaurant that seems like it could be parking but no lines or guidance out front. Also this place is really small looking on the outside. As soon as I walked in it felt really awkward.i almost walked back out because everyone was just staring at me. Finally after what seemed like forever the sushi chef greeted me. When I was seated the waitress took my order and served me promptly. The miso soup was delicious. The edamame tasted fresh. The prices are a bit more than what I'm use to. I also had the sushi and sashimi lunch combo. The fish tasted very fresh and cleaned very well. Which explains the price. I would come back. Give it a try.
