“My husband and I went to Meadowlark Bakery and Cafe this morning after learning that they hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for those who needed a place to go. We try to support places that support those in the community and do good. We’ve been there before for coffee and pastries, which are amazing, but we never had any other food. We have been missing out! We both got a breakfast sandwich and they were amazing! My biscuit was light and buttery, our eggs were perfectly fried, and both sandwiches had generous amounts of breakfast meat and came with tots. They had a wonderful Santa for the kids and a nice warm enclosed area for eating. Meadowlark, thank you for being a part of our community and helping those in need. It does not go unnoticed and we will absolutely be back to support you, your business, delicious food, and the good you are doing!“

“Ive been wanting to go here for a long time. I finally came to try their desserts. We ordered take out. Service was fast. It was a small little crowded cafe. Desserts were a little expensive but worth it. Theyre not only cute but it was delicious. I wanted to try everything. I got the pina colada and a raspberry cake. They were both so good, not overly sweet. It was crunchy on the outside with the chocolate shell and soft inside. I need to try the other ones.“

“The pastries are really good and fresh for a fair price. I got a coffee cake and a chocolate pastry for eight dollars which also tasted really good. The decor is really cute and the employees are very nice and helpful. I would definitely come here again! I encourage everyone to give this place a shot!“

“Love this place, freshest boba. If you have never tried boba go for Pearl Milk Tea if you like tea, or if not go for an apple pulp tea or a fruit smoothie. You can get boba added to most drinks. A fee snacks available, too. Best place we have tried in area, and we love boba, started drinking boba tea when we visited Taiwan, so we are a bit picky. Good drinks, has small tables or carryout.“
“The associates are always kind and helpful, today especially when I was pushing my cart to my car with a heavy item and an associate offered to follow me to the car to lift it in there. The membership here is 100% worth every penny.“

“We originally went for the Sushi to this kosher restaurant in Northeast Philadelphia on Castor Avenue -- but instead we enjoyed and could not have enough of: Halomi Salad and Mushroom Wheel. One was in a friendly, family environment that went over backwards to please you-- and it felt like you were being take care of by family -- in a small comfortable town in Israel. The Halomi salad's taste reminded one of someplace in the Galil that was so good and so impossible to find of any quality anywhere in the whole US; the mushroom wheel so unique and tasty that it could not be forgotten.“

“My friend and I enjoyed a delicious meal. We couldn’t believe it was so tasty! we enjoyed the Reuben, crab cake sandwich and tomato lentil soup. We appreciated the biodegradable spoon but we wish it wasn’t so flat and was more of a scoop for the soup. Can’t wait to return!“

“We celebrated my Dads birthday at this location last Friday. Cafe Light was recommended to us by a mutual friend as a great spot to have lunch and celebrate birthdays. We gave it a try and could not be happier. The banquet area was sparkling clean, cozy, not too big, not too small, just perfect! The menu was outstanding! Selection of appetizers and main dish exceeded our expectations by much. Stuff was professional, attentive, we had everything we needed on time with no delays. “Light” is definitely a place to visit for event or to have a meal. Newly renovated, clean, delicious, cozy. Loved it!“

“Food won’t wow you but is really good especially for a chain breakfast/lunch spot. Prices were reasonable. Service was to the point and not over the top. Food came out fairly quickly.
We had two options from the spring specials menu: the BEC (4/5) and the bacon Cheese Corn Bread (5/5)
We also ordered from the regular menu the Power Wrap (4/5) and Cheesy Grits (4/5). Got the pancakes but took them to go (4/5)“

“Big fan of the Borsch Belt because they have gluten friendly options! Actually, they’re the only place locally where I can get the most delicious gluten free everything bagel breakfast sandwich! They are soft with the most wonderful bread texture and delicious flavor. I usually order 2-3 extra bagels for my freezer at home. Unfortunately, this last time I ordered the bagels were rock hard, solid, and bit stale. Hopefully it was a one time occurrence!!“

“Everything is well organized as far as the ordering and fulfillment process goes. You can order from a person or at a kiosk. I know when my meal is being prepared and when it is done even before they call my name because I watch the little screen. I love the private room in back with large tables. Perfect for impromptu or informal work or club meetings.“
