“my best friend's mother passed and I heard that nobody was bringing food to the funeral home they were going to be there all day from 2:00 till 8:00 at night I called around to a few places they were all booked nobody could squeeze me in I called the water front Giant eagle the gentleman put me on hold and checked with his manager and the manager said since it was such an emergency he was squeezing me in. the food was done on time it was perfect. I can't say enough about how wonderful they were down there for me. great job. prepared hot foods is awesome“

Got a dozen chocolate chip and just a variety of some of the other cookies and donuts they had available and man, I wish I would have gotten more. The staff was incredible, even gave us stickers when they heard how far we drove just for the cookies! If you’re in the area or down for an adventure, I HIGHLY recommend stopping in! 🍪🤤“

“When you don't have any homemade cookies on hand, Good L'Oven cookies are the next best thing! The Salted Sea Turtle is my favorite cookie. If you're in downtown Pittsburgh on Thursdays, they sell cookies at the Farmers Market. If you're visiting their shop at lunch, they also have a great buffalo chicken wrap. Definitely stop at Good L'Oven when you have a chance!“

“This cookie/sandwich shop has risen to the top in so many ways! We live in FL and our daughter lives in Pittsburgh and it was her birthday. I looked up cookie places and GoodL’Oven cookie shop in Bellevue popped up, I liked the name so I gave them a call😁 Next was where the experience began, I spoke to John, the baker, who listened to my story like he had all the time in the world, he navigated me thru their delicious cookie menu and which cookies are the people pleasers, then I decided to order sandwiches which he recommended the French Connection & Muffalata. But to top it off, (they are typically not a delivery place) he arranged to have my order delivered to my daughter’s place! She was so surprised and raved about the cookies and Sammie’s! In this day and age, there are not many people or places that go beyond, but John, you were OVER THE TOP! Thank you for making my day AND our daughter’s! Can’t wait to meet you in person next time we visit😁“

Stepped inside and I was warmly greeted and pleasantly surprised to see authentic mouth watering and tasty Asian pastries with just the right amount of sweetness without gobs of sugar. Left with several items and will definitely return. Also, I’m a huge fan of bubble tea but I missed that on my first trip.“

“We tried Dosa Cupcakes for the first time and we are so happy we did! The cupcakes were beautiful as well as delicious and not too sweet! We tried the blueberry lemon, the chocolate peanut butter and the strawberry pretzel salad cupcake (great for sweet and salty)…all 3 fantastic! We also tried the shortbread dippers too..so good! I wish we took pictures of our goodies but we ate them too fast!! Also what a friendly couple running this business! Always outgoing and willing to spend time describing their cupcakes to customers with a smile. Also come to find out they have a store front too in Pitcairn and they do much more than just cupcakes. When you see them out and about…. Definitely give them a try!“

I rattled off a list of random pastries and bread items. She got it all together RQ, boxed bagged and the transaction was seamless. I wish they had a tip jar! “Stopped here on a whim while visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend. We were looking to grab a coffee and pastry and found this place close to where we were headed. Let me tell you. I would come here every day!! Delicious. We had an almond croissant, hazelnut croissant and brought some bread home. Just slices the olive loaf. I cannot explain how delicious it is. Keep doing a great job. We will be back when we visit the city again!!“

“A friend asked me to pick up a turtle cheesecake. I go here and the lady says we don’t have any made but I have a carrot cheesecake. So I took that and caught “heck” from my friend because it wasn’t what she asked for. I explained that they didn’t have any so she called and was told yes we have 3 turtle cheesecakes. Last time I buy anything there.“

“They have a Books and Bundts program for kids! Kids read 400 minutes a month and receive a free Bundlet! I reached out to Erin at the Monroeville-Wilkins Twp store to find out more information. Erin was wonderful! She brought out the reading trackers for all our students, and surprised us with their yummy Bundt cakes for our staff! Thank you so much for your support, and the absolutely delicious Bundt cakes! I can’t wait to get our kids started, so they can receive their yummy Bundlet!! “Best biscotti I’ve ever had, so packed with flavor and reminded me of an amaretti cookie but had a delightful chewy texture. The service was also excellent, the woman at the counter was so lovely and kind, she went the extra mile and even brought us out a free coffee to have with our biscotti. The store is immaculate, and one of my favorite things is the double door system at the entrance which deters insects, varmints, and unsanitary conditions that come along with those. Love their special holiday cakes one I loved was Lemon poppyseed! Wish they d bring it back.The cinnamon rolls and fruit breads and the Scones like triple chocolate chip abd raspberry,blackberry to name a few are simply delicious! Love you guys!!
