I have been a customer for a few years now and knew that hiring Casey for our wedding cake was the easiest decision in planning our wedding! We chose to do a small ceremony cake and ordered sheet cakes for our guests. Before finalizing our cake order we picked up one of the cake testing boxes, which was so helpful in narrowing down flavors. We ultimately went with vanilla cake and buttercream because a classic is a classic for a reason! The cake so delicious, beautiful, and fresh on the wedding day. We couldn't have ask for a better treat to end the perfect night!“

“So I ordered the Samoa Cheesecake for my Birthday last week. I ordered based on a high review. Let me tell you, I ordered another 1 before I even tasted the 1st one. The presentation was phenomenal. Kyle himself delivered the cheesecake. So the 2nd cheesecake was for my Godmother's Birthday. She said her and her friends really enjoyed. I just ordered another 1 that's 3 in less than 5 days. I highly highly recommend. So I had to come back and add to my review. The banana cream was OUT OF THIS WORLD I HEATED SOME PEANUT BUTTER UP AND DRIZZLED IT OVER A SLICE🤤 I'VE NEVER BEEN TO HEAVEN, BUT I'M PRETTY SURE FOR A MOMENT I WAS. “Drove an hour and a half for these cookies and I’ll definitely be going it again in the future! These are by far some of the best cookies I have ever eaten! Got a dozen chocolate chip and just a variety of some of the other cookies and donuts they had available and man, I wish I would have gotten more. The staff was incredible, even gave us stickers when they heard how far we drove just for the cookies! If you’re in the area or down for an adventure, I HIGHLY recommend stopping in! 🍪🤤“

“Oh, the COOKIES!!.Great lunch available with many options to choise from. Two homemade soups daily. Wedding every Wednesday. Unique combinations at times, but dont be afraid to try them.
Grab-and-go cooler always has impressive items to decide on taking home and quiches don't disappoint.
My faves are the Chicken Pot Pie and the Shepherd's Pie.

“We tried Dosa Cupcakes for the first time and we are so happy we did! The cupcakes were beautiful as well as delicious and not too sweet! We tried the blueberry lemon, the chocolate peanut butter and the strawberry pretzel salad cupcake (great for sweet and salty)…all 3 fantastic! We also tried the shortbread dippers too..so good! I wish we took pictures of our goodies but we ate them too fast!! Also what a friendly couple running this business! Always outgoing and willing to spend time describing their cupcakes to customers with a smile. Also come to find out they have a store front too in Pitcairn and they do much more than just cupcakes. When you see them out and about…. Definitely give them a try!“

Stepped inside and I was warmly greeted and pleasantly surprised to see authentic mouth watering and tasty Asian pastries with just the right amount of sweetness without gobs of sugar. Left with several items and will definitely return. Also, I’m a huge fan of bubble tea but I missed that on my first trip.“

“When you don't have any homemade cookies on hand, Good L'Oven cookies are the next best thing! The Salted Sea Turtle is my favorite cookie. If you're in downtown Pittsburgh on Thursdays, they sell cookies at the Farmers Market. If you're visiting their shop at lunch, they also have a great buffalo chicken wrap. Definitely stop at Good L'Oven when you have a chance!“

“We ordered a cake for 50 for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and first off- it was beautiful, and second-everyone couldn't stop raving about how absolutely delicious it was! It was absolutely perfect and the online ordering was incredibly simple. We are lucky to have this shop in the neighborhood“

“I bought the iced caramel macchiato, chocolate croissant, and milk sticky buns. The staff was so kind and friendly, and I could really tell they enjoy working at this bakery. The food was great! The croissant was flaky and buttery, though, there was only a sliver of chocolate inside. It was mostly plain croissant, but honestly, I didn’t mind! The sticky buns were delicious, it wasn’t as sweet as I thought it would be, so I genuinely enjoyed this treat. The latte was great for the price; it was $5 for the small, but the small size is plenty. At Starbucks it is usually 4-5 dollars for the tall caramel macchiato, but the size is significantly smaller. I would say even though it’s not too expensive, it’s also probably not the best coffee in the city. The taste was pretty average. Additionally, the coffee is not very strong in this macchiato. If you have tried the Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso from Starbucks, the strength of coffee on both of these is very similar (though I would say the shaken espresso is a little stronger). Overall this spot was a great visit and I look forward to coming here again!“

“Stopped here on a whim while visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend. We were looking to grab a coffee and pastry and found this place close to where we were headed. Let me tell you. I would come here every day!! Delicious. We had an almond croissant, hazelnut croissant and brought some bread home. Just slices the olive loaf. I cannot explain how delicious it is. Keep doing a great job. We will be back when we visit the city again!!“

“I love everything about this place. The desserts are wonderful. A custom cake can be done with no hassle and always looks and tastes great, but really, one of the things that stands out for me is that they don't ask for a tip, even though it may be well deserved. I assume they are paid well for their positions and I appreciate that from the owners. Because everywhere you go you are forced into tipping. I spend a lot here and have no problem with that.I just appreciate no tipping.“

“A friend asked me to pick up a turtle cheesecake. I go here and the lady says we don’t have any made but I have a carrot cheesecake. So I took that and caught “heck” from my friend because it wasn’t what she asked for. I explained that they didn’t have any so she called and was told yes we have 3 turtle cheesecakes. Last time I buy anything there.“

“Absolutely delicious! What made it extra special is that they partner with Robert Morris University. At the start of the semester, RMU sent an email about signing up for their birthday club to possibly win a cake! I feel so lucky, and the owners were such amazing, lovely people. We brought this cake to a friends house for soup cook-off. Although we were voting for our favorite soup, everyone agreed the lemon cake was the true winner - there were no leftovers! Thank you for such delicious desserts, and also for your kindness!“

“Best biscotti I’ve ever had, so packed with flavor and reminded me of an amaretti cookie but had a delightful chewy texture. The service was also excellent, the woman at the counter was so lovely and kind, she went the extra mile and even brought us out a free coffee to have with our biscotti.
