The charcuterie board was delicious and a perfect pairing for the drinks! Our friends saw our videos and pictures and it's now a spot they want to visit. “I don’t get wowed often but this place is worth every penny. We got the cheapest bread you could buy and steak tar tar to start, both were great, then we shared 2 large entrees - the rainbow trout and the chicken, both were 10/10, probably the most perfectly cooked fish I’ve ever had in my life and again I don’t get wowed often. This is by far now our favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh to go to, hands down a PREMIERE spot to eat.“

“Impressive Cozy, Loft style dining experience; wonderful atmosphere with friendly knowledgeable staff and a well versed menu.
We arrived at our reservation time and were seated for dinner. The restaurant setting is comfortably welcoming as was our waitress Amy. We were dining in a downtown loft apartment looking out at the city of Pittsburgh. The decor was fitting of the experience both fixtures and furnishings.
We ordered the crispy Brussels, the crab cakes and salmon with risotto. All were cooked perfectly. We also partook in a pretty and plum cocktail 🍹 👍🏾 and a cherry 🍒 bloom mocktail (not as flavorful as expected so Amy had the bartender mix up another mocktail that had a more flavorful taste 👌🏾). I was also treated to a delicious birthday cake 🎂 .
There is lots of different seating options from lounge to large tables, intimate and bar seating. The bar is also very large. Overall great dining experience Emerson’s keep up the good work I enjoyed your restaurant.“

“We enjoyed our first visit to The Forge. Julia and Abby provided great service and the food options were excellent and in line with our expectations. We had the drunken mushrooms, a chicken souvlaki dish and a Margherita Pizza....more than enough for 2 as dinner. The service was great, atmosphere enjoyable and food was very good. Bonus...you can park in the parking lot next door for free....great feature for Lawrenceville. Wine list is limited...but our chardonnay was acceptable (an upgrade would be nice). We will return with family and friends. We are told weekend are busy but our Wednesday night was quiet and enjoyable.“

“Big open airy restaurant inside the hotel. Wonderful views of the river and downtown Pittsburgh. Angel was such a big help. Got to us with water and a wine/cocktail menu right away. The red blend and Big Electric Chair came quickly. Gave us time to enjoy the drinks and then came back for the order. Obviously the short ribs sucked. So bad I had to eat all of them so the chef would not be disappointed. I almost got a bite of the crème brûlée that my wife ordered. Thanks again Angel!“

“Hemlock House describes itself as serving "irreverent food," and they aren't kidding. I came in expecting a burger, but I stayed for the Frog Legs—the gochujang brown butter buffalo sauce is an absolute game changer. If you are looking for boring bar food, go elsewhere. Here, you have to try the Beef Tartare; the quality of the Snake River Farms beef really shines, and the soy cured yolk adds such a rich texture. For the main event, the Duck Burger is a must-order. The combination of a duck and beef fat patty with luxardo cherries and boursin cheese sounded crazy on paper, but it was incredible. This place is a culinary hidden gem.“

“Mezcal Cantina is hands down my go-to spot for Mexican food in Pittsburgh. The tacos are consistently amazing, and the margaritas are always on point. My personal favorite is the Quesabirria tacos, they’re incredibly flavorful, perfectly cooked, and seriously satisfying every time. On top of that, the service is always great, which makes the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for a place with great food, drinks, and service, this is it!“

“Came here about 10 years ago to see Perturbator and Arcade High, and recently came back for the Ultra Sunn live event. The show was an absolute blast and the atmosphere was awesome. Only downside was the pizza side of the venue. The whole pizza was pretty meh and way overpriced for the size. Still, the event itself made up for it and I’ll definitely keep coming back for shows.“

“We went to G’s for our anniversary and it was an absolutely delightful experience. Great quiet and cozy atmosphere, stellar service, and incredible food and drinks. Every dish was full of flavor and the textures were all beautifully done. Even the bread basket was amazing with maple butter. It felt like a 5 star dining experience for a reasonable person. Excited to go back again soon.“

“What a lovely find! We stopped by Monday night before a birthday dinner. The server did a fantastic job matching our palates to unique, well-balanced cocktails. I appreciate he then explained each drink's ingredients to us. The food menu is limited, but includes some great basic bar snacks like labneh and olives. “Absolutely stunning venue! Phenomenal staff, from the doorman to the co-owner Maddy. So much work and time went into renovating and it shows. Parking wasn’t too bad, plan ahead or come early lol“

Cannot recommend enough. I tried the tempting fate with Espresso Martini styles - and that Tequila drink that cam from the bar was absolutely fire. So much so my friend ordered the exact same one for our seconds 😂“
