“My husband and I have been looking for a good Indian restaurant for several years and have eaten in many places in the area. By far this is the best! We sampled a few of our favorite dishes (samosa, kebab, paneer, garlic nan, ras malai) and were very satisfied! Highly recommend!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance ramp and wheelchair accessible restroom.“

“We have been looking for a place equivalent to Lilly’s in Glenside, since they are closed. I think when they open back up, we are still going to come to this place. Their tikka masala sauce is to die for and their mango chef special sauce is just amazing with so many flavors happening in the mouth. Prices are decent and quality and consistency is A+++Two time customer and we’ll be back. My husband has high expectations for food - it’s hard to find places that he likes enough to go back. This has definitely impressed him. Can’t wait to come back again soon!!Vegetarian options: We got the Paneer Tikka Masala and the Mango Veg Chef Special. Very nice mix of vegetables and they are tender and not obnoxious like most vegetarian options at other venues. The Aloo Papri Chaat is only $5 and is citrusy and savory flavorful at the same time.“

“A fantastic spot. The food and service were fabulous. You can choose how spicy you want your food, from a scale of 1-7 which I love cause I can’t handle spicy. The atmosphere was great too, just missing a little music for mood. Absolutely recommend for any and all!“

“We have been coming to Saffron in Ambler for many years. Every time we go, the staff is always amazing and accommodating, and the food is the best we've had around. We come and sit for lunches or dinners, and do takeaway often, as well. The dishes are consistently tasty, spicy (when requested) and the naan is always good. There are other Indian places around, and we have tried them, but we always return to Saffron. We have brought wine (BYO) which is nice, too. Friends meet us there too, and it's nice to share.Parking is the public lot behind the playhouse, there is almost always space. Ambler has ample parking nearby.Vegetarian options: So many good choices for vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free, and Dairy-Free.Kid-friendliness: Can get simple dishes, and the mango lassi is always a hit (it was with our kid when she was little)“

“First time coming here, it happened to be on route to a final destination, and it ended up being a Happy find as the food was superb, service fabulous, and the establishment super clean. As for our first meal, my wife and I shared an order of lamb Samosa and shared a chicken tikka masala, and the paneer baingan Bartha, as well as a garlic naan . After discussing with the owner, who took our order about spice levels, we went with mild "3" on everything for a little bit of flavor. Next time will do a five and six and a little bit more flavor. Each dish was plentiful, super fresh. The chicken was tender vegetables very tasty the garlic naan probably some of the best we've had before and boy did we go dipping into our sauces .A little bit out of geo area, but we will make it or business to head back this way again, and try out some other dishes. Be sure to see your food photos on apologize for not taking pictures of the main before we started it was that good, couldn't wait.“

“Amazing little place right in the Heart of Ambler. I usually always get the chicken over rice but everything on the menu is delicious. The owner is super friendly and always looks out to make sure his customers have the best experience. Highly recommend!!“
“It feels like a small mall or small reading terminal.Taste mild, the portion is OK, its only about 10 bucks plus tax. They have non-alcohol drinks. You can get beer or whatever around the corner.Dietary restrictions: it’s a real Indian, so they understand.“

“I've been going to Palace of Asia since they've first opened close to 20 years ago. Always good quality, always good service. We moved about an hour away but still try to come back when possible. Didn't know about the fire and accidentally went to old location, they were so nice holding our reservation while we figured things out. They even texted us directions.Great food and sweet people!“

“Delicious food! Cannot recommend the garlic naan, or chicken tikka masala enough. Decent indoor dining and bar selections. We wish our service had been better but they were very busy the night of our reservation. Looking forward to returning!“

“Being an Indian, I've tried a lot of Indian/Pakistani food throughout my life. Living in NE Philly brings us a new Indian restaurant every once in a while. Kazi's Tandoor & Grill is a restaurant/caterer that keeps things simple. At least that's what Kazi says. However, there is something addictive about the flavor in their foods. The food seems so simple, yet it's delicious. The secret is the imported spice mix that Kazi uses for his dishes and keeping everything else simple. The restaurant is currently best for takeout and catering orders. The only issue is that the location has no parking, and there is very little room to dine in. The food is priced perfectly for the quantity and quality received, so it attracts so many customers. I usually keep my orders simple by ordering the chicken biriyani, tandoori naan, and chicken tikka masala, but I have tried other entrees, and they are also delicious.“

“We recently organized our wedding at Indian grill. I had an amazing experience with Sheetal who was organizing and coordinating with us. The decorations, food, service were impeccable. They paid minute attention to details that were requested. Staff was friendly, helpful and provided services on time. Would definitely recommend them for all events.“

“I ordered my first with some hesitation, but it was worth it. I ended up ordering from this place like 3 time this week. Tried vijaywada biyani, gunpowder dosa, chicken kottu parotta, and some other non veg curries. They were all so yummmm. Also ask them for their special talapakattu biryani (goat). OMG Its not made with basmati rice , but tastes 1000 times better than most of biryani i have had.“

“Some of the better Indian food I’ve had in Pennsylvania. My partner ordered takeaway and the food was amazing! Got the gobi Manchurian very spicy and it was a perfect spice level for us.He was so impressed with the flavors of the dish and tbh it was some of the better gobi Manchurian I had.He enjoyed his chicken tikka and I ordered the tofu saag very spicy.Again, the spice level is exactly what I wanted and am very satisfied. We can’t wait to order again and I’m excited to try more items off the menu. I like mo mos so I look forward to those among other options. Also, really like they offer tofu as an alternative to paneer if you’re lactose intolerant or vegan.“

“Great Indian food with a large selection. The fried eggplant appetizer is amazing. The only drawback is that it is quite noisy and hard to hear each other at the table. Also, the parking is small but not a problem at night because there are lots for stores that are closed nearby.“

“My son and I stopped at Tiffin's on our way home from University City. we love International cuisine and Indian is one of our favorites. We had a delicious meal. it was a terribly hot day and we sipped cool water while we devoured our spicy and flavorful meal. My son had chicken curry while I indulged my tastebuds with Butter chicken and Vegetable Korma. the garlic Naan was wonderful as well. we will definitely go back!!“
“I'm into very heavy spice cuisines lately. Hubby told me Middle-Eastern, Pakistan, Indian, or halal should fit my taste buds. Since their cuisines contains tons of spices. I found Kabobi while shopping at Petsmart and decided to give it a try. Kabobi sits between IHOP and Party City on Roosevelt Boulevard. I really want beef kabob but Kabobi only carry Beef Nehari, which is a curry dish. I figure might as well try, I might like it. I also order Tandoori Chicken Kabob Skewer, white rice, buttered Naan, garlic naan and Kheer. I ate the Naan first,, i prefer the garlic Naan over the butter as it had more flavors. The Beef Nehari is really spicy, FIRE HOT lol, get the green sauce to tone that spice down. The Tandoori Chicken Kabob(bone-in) is absolutely delicious. The meat is extremely tender and flavourful. I was never a rice pudding person but Kheer? OMG........it is deeeeeelicious. This order cost $47, and I can get at least three meals out of it. Definitely worth the $$.“

“It was a wonderful experience to have ghee rice and goatcurry from mallu cafe. It was as excellent as malappuram ghee rice. The rich, aromatic flavors of ghee rice paired with the tender and flavorful goat curry create a wonderful culinary experience. It's great to find a dish that brings so much satisfaction“
“I have to say, this place is seriously SO FREAKING GOOD! I don't normally review places... ever... but i am seriously WOW'd. We went in on Sunday and nobody was there but us. so i feel the need to spread the word bc it was THAT delicious! I'm eating my leftovers now!! Rest assured, we will be back! we are definitely new regulars here- there was something for everyone in our family!“

“Very good. We love Indian food and orders it at least once a week. We love Kirinji, but wanted to try this place out because they have lamb roganjosh (Kirinji no longer has it.) We tried lamb roganjosh, saag paneer, and chicken Tikka marsala. All 3 were good and delicious. We will definitely come back for more!“
