“We try to go to Slice House AT LEAST once a week. My husband doesn't want to move in the future because of Slice House. I am a thin crust lover & their NY style is the best I've ever had. We were from out of state and at Laurelville Retreat Center for a reunion, and we wanted to provide an easy meal for when everyone arrived for the weekend. “We live out of town but had this pizza several times over the past few years, when in the area visiting family. The pizza is really good (not greasy or too spicy) but we forgot how big the pies are, so make sure you know how many slices you need when you place the order. This was our first time calling for delivery. We were disappointed that they did not honor a Seton Hill student discount that my sister who placed the order had. They also forgot part of our order but promptly came back after we called them. I'd definitely go back here again...not sure if my sister will.“

“A recent drop off at the UPS store lead me to an impromptu lunch decision. The aroma outside the shop drew me in to Mama Pepino’s for the first time today. I was greeted by the friendly owner, who took my counter/take out order and quickly prepared what is probably the BEST steak hoagie I have enjoyed from a pizza shop in quite some time. I ordered it exactly as it was listed on the menu. The owner did mention they bake their own hoagie rolls fresh and even after the 20 minute car ride home it held up very well and was still warm. But I’d be remiss to not mention the abundance of steak and toppings that hoagie bun held - very tasty and filling. With trends of prices rising and portions shrinking - THIS sandwich is a robust bite and good value! I know now to keep Mama Pepino’s on my radar when I am in the Irwin area.“

I just moved to the area and looked up local pizza shops that deliver and their website advertises delivery. “I've been a solid supporter of this business for better than 10 years.And in that one0 years, I've seen the quality.Go down the price, go up to the point where it's not affordable food anymore.It's exorbitant. I've ordered hundreds of antipasto salads from this place in the past 12 years.I've noticed that the containers half full and then when I ask for things to be added to it like banana peppers or something else , it's just it never makes it through , I get the salad , it doesn't have the thing. My most recent thing is that I've been also ordering this stuff.Shells with meatballs for I don't know 10 years also and the past times 2 times of order, they've refused to put meatballs in the order of stuff, shells that has always come with meatballs.It's never been an upcharge, always come with some meatballs.I know, because I've been eating it for years and years. They Literally wanted $16 tonight.For an order of french fries in a two liter and then told me I had to spend another five dollars to get it delivered I mean it's not enough to bend you over 47 dollars for a two liter and seven dollars for french fries plus a delivery fee for f****** french fries..... My Suggestion is to make your food.The value of what you charge for it, like if you're going to charge $17 for stuff, shells like put some d*** meatballs in there.Put some protein source in there.Like.What are you thinking?I don't even understand that anyways, it's been fun.Enjoy the review“

“Their food is really good plus you get a nice size portion. The delivery is really good even when they're super busy. The people that work there are very polite and respectful starting from the owner, and manager. I definitely would recommend this place.“

“Okay first: Staff, and Owners, absolutely amazing, kind, and just wholesome chat in person types. Very rustic, down to earth types.

2nd: So I grew up East pensyltukey, moved to the south in my mid age. Couldn't get a proper pizza, or Italian anywhere. Moved back on the west side of PA. I tried a few places, but I knew.. The second I saw a Cheeseburger sub. I knew, knew, this spot was it. It is hands down the best pie in the area. From the cheese, dough, sauce; this is East Coast pizza. To the appetizers, an the rest of the menu. You won't find better in the area.

3rd: Lastly: parking is okay; outside of meter time. However: again from the comfort small shop like you'd feel in east Dalessandro's Steaks, to a Brooklyn Pie. You'll feel at home with the courtesy of family vibes, and good Pizza Shop Corner Cuisine.

I don't actually review places too often. When I do though. It is fully deserving, and if you're ever in the rural outskirts of the great city of Pittsburgh. Drop buy Doughboys Pizza and Subs; located in the quaint historic downtown of Mt. Pleasant.“
