“Food won’t wow you but is really good especially for a chain breakfast/lunch spot. Prices were reasonable. Service was to the point and not over the top. Food came out fairly quickly.
We had two options from the spring specials menu: the BEC (4/5) and the bacon Cheese Corn Bread (5/5)
We also ordered from the regular menu the Power Wrap (4/5) and Cheesy Grits (4/5). Got the pancakes but took them to go (4/5)“

“I read all the positive reviews and had to check it out for myself. I have always found it difficult to find something as simple as a good breakfast place. But this time i found it! The second I walked in, I was impressed. The hostess greeted me immediately and with a smile. I asked if I should order now and she smiled and explained that she'd take my order and she'll bring it to me. It was very pleasant. The store itself is clean and bright. I ordered two eggs medium, sausage patties,home fries with peppers and onions, rye toast with a little butter and a medium coffee. Everything was made exactly as I ordered it. The portions were generous and the coffee was great. Thirteen bucks for all that. Perfect. I'll be back.“

“Cute and quiet. Came here for breakfast with my mom. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food was good. Not overly salty or greasy. I’m glad they had complimentary water. The only strike against this place (and this maybe be a Philly thing because this wasn’t the only restaurant I’ve experienced this) is the use of styrofoam takeout containers and plastic utensils. Do people not like using actual plates and forks in Philadelphia 🤔🤔🤔 Maybe I’ve been too far removed from the culture when this isn’t as oddly I think it is. “This was the first restaurant my Grandmother took me to when I came to Philly when I was 8 I am going to be 44 in 2 months. Loyal customer for 36 years. They fed my family for 3 generations. It's not the same owners I started out with but the quality of food never changed and these owners owned it for decades. If you can ignore what's going on outside it's a great stop. The neighborhood changed the restaurant did not.“
