“Food won’t wow you but is really good especially for a chain breakfast/lunch spot. Prices were reasonable. Service was to the point and not over the top. Food came out fairly quickly.
We had two options from the spring specials menu: the BEC (4/5) and the bacon Cheese Corn Bread (5/5)
We also ordered from the regular menu the Power Wrap (4/5) and Cheesy Grits (4/5). Got the pancakes but took them to go (4/5)“

“From the time I decided To walk in and get a pastry and something hot to drink, I was in love with it. It’s my favorite place to go to after work with friends. It’s a nice place to unwind and pull out your laptop and work as well. Love the Hot dog donut!!!! And the brownies.“

The second I walked in, I was impressed. The hostess greeted me immediately and with a smile. I asked if I should order now and she smiled and explained that she'd take my order and she'll bring it to me. It was very pleasant. The store itself is clean and bright. I ordered two eggs medium, sausage patties,home fries with peppers and onions, rye toast with a little butter and a medium coffee. Everything was made exactly as I ordered it. The staff is always so friendly, and it’s always nice to see Jenny and the team each week. Unless you ask for sides of jelly you get charged for jelly too, cups of water if in a Togo cup..any way they can make another 10cents they will. “This was the first restaurant my Grandmother took me to when I came to Philly when I was 8 I am going to be 44 in 2 months. Loyal customer for 36 years. They fed my family for 3 generations. It's not the same owners I started out with but the quality of food never changed and these owners owned it for decades. If you can ignore what's going on outside it's a great stop. The neighborhood changed the restaurant did not.“

“This restaurant has changed since I first started visiting. The food was good. I had my breakfast 2x in a week. The pricing was fair and the quality was fair. In comparison to other breakfast locations, this site gave a little more at a lower price. I like that combo.“
