Jimmy's pizza is hands down the best I've had in Pittsburgh so far and I'm from Philly and have eaten pizza all over, including New York. But you have to get down there early because they sell out of pizza often.
Momma Jackie and the staff treat everyone like family, and they absolutely adore my dog Freya with water, treats, and plenty of love. The deck is the perfect place to sit back with a slice, a drink, and your pup.“

“My family stopped by on Saturday afternoon ordered a Pgh pizza and loaded fries. The Pizza was out of this world. The fries were fresh cut and delicious. Our server was Jodie and she was so friendly and efficient we never had to ask a refill on drinks. Most pleasant trip there ever.“

“A nice little place! My husband and I did some antiquing for our date day in the Greensburg area and wanted to find a place that kind of fit in with that theme. This place definitely fit the bill! Decorated in Route 66 items, it gave that feel of yesteryear with decor items such as neon car wall art, an old Coke cooler and an old radio. The tables have plain white paper as the table cover which gave us time to fit in a few tic tac toe games before we were served. The service was very pleasant! Friendly and constantly refilling drinks. There is a large bar area separated from the dining room. Fast service, beer, cocktails, wine. I got the meatball hoagie and fries, while my husband chose the phillie cheesteak and chips. Our only complaint was that for the cost of the sandwiches, they were a little small. Don’t get me wrong, the taste was amazing, but just wished the sandwiches were a little longer. We were still a little hungry after finishing. Chips were really good! “We were passing through New Stanton, and had dinner at La Tavola. We sat at the bar, and had incredible service from Sandy, the bartender. The food was incredible. We had the artichoke appetizer, a Caesar salad, and the Veal Picatta and the special, which was a Swordfish with lump crabmeat. Also, the Crème Brûlée. All was incredible, and Chef Lou came out and chatted with us. A very special gem of a restaurant, which we would highly recommend!!“

The seasoning is the best part, I always ask for extra in addition to buying a side of it so I can cover everything in it 🤣 I’ve tried quite a few of their seafood options- shrimp, cod, perch, catfish filet & nuggets- and have never been disappointed by any of them. The pick 2 combo with shrimp and catfish nuggets is my go-to though, best catfish I’ve ever had. The fries are always hot and crispy even when I get them delivered through doordash, and the hush puppies are great too. And you gotta have the funnel cake sticks for dessert! I love Hook 💕🐟🍤“

“The service was fantastic! She was friendly, efficient, and patient with our table. I guess we picked the wrong day for a big group. It was their wing night. It was very busy. They had us sitting in front of the fireplace, which was very hot, and we were really crammed at our table. The appetizers were delicious, but my main course was a bit bland. I had the fettuccine with vodka sauce. It tasted much better as a leftover with garlic powder and parmesan cheese over it.“

“Food and staff are fantastic and so sweet. I got the shrimp pineapple boat. I got it to go because the music was a little too loud for my tasting but they wrapped it up very nicely. For those complaining that the prices are too high It was only about $3.50 more than Bahama Breeze and so much tastier and better quality plus now I know where I can get it without having to drive all the way to Robinson. They could however use some better advertising as I would have never known about this place if I hadn’t seen a Facebook post.“

“First timie going here! I love that prices are so great compared to others! Being a mom of 8 kids I know good deals when I see one and this is GREAT and affordable meal prices for kids menu. Plus the salad,nacho,soup,dessert bar are fabulous!! The kids will definitely get full here, so worth the cheap affordable prices!! Adult meal plates look good and appealing I got a steak.
