“We had a few moments on Labor Day morning to take a break for breakfast, and my wife and family decided to try a café Italiano. We were net worth as the kindest hostess, who is also our waitress. She immediately got our drinks and helped us with suggestions from the menu. The food came quickly, and was amazing quality, all fresh ingredients I’m picking up a convection of a Waring, a level above anything I had for breakfast in the last six months. The owner came to say hello and spent some time talking with us about his menu and make sure our coffee was fresh and it was delicious! Everyone was very welcoming, and that made the amazing food even more enjoyable. Will definitely be back for breakfast and will be trying for lunch or dinner very soon!“

“This is the best coffee shop I’ve been in in a very long time. The espresso pulls are PERFECT the price is well below current rates and the pastries (I had two, shut up I know they were good sue me) were RIDICULOUS. I inhaled the biscuit and the cranberry pecan scone. All made in house. I’m so happy right now.“

They have tons of gluten-free breakfast and lunch options that taste AMAZING at very reasonable prices. Two of us were able to eat for under $30 (See receipt in photos)! From the outside, the restaurant looks small. Don’t be fooled… The inside is quite large and spacious. Staff was also very personable and kind. Even though they were very busy, we did not wait at all and served was fast. Recommend to anyone and everyone! We will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: I have to eat a gluten-free diet, so finding food I can eat can become be very difficult when going to restaurants. Sun Dawg Café had a menu full of options, one of the biggest I’ve seen. My significant other tried my gluten-free food and couldn’t tell a difference between my food, and his food that contained gluten.Parking: There is not a designated parking lot, so you will have to park on the street or in a close by parking garage that’s less than a block from the restaurant. Don’t forget your quarters!Kid-friendliness: Even though the restaurant was busy, our waitress was very attentive and answered all of our questions. She was very knowledgeable and kind.“

“My wife and I stopped here on our way home from Pittsburgh mid morning on a Wednesday. I was surprised to see a wait but because we were only 2 we got seated immediately. Our waitress was fantastic and the food was amazing. It was difficult to decide since so many things sounded wonderful. A definite place to go for brunch.“
